Jackie, Sky had a poster due last week - "All About Me" for her week at school. She typed it herself - excruitiatingly painful for me to sit through, but I managed! Then, she cut it herself and arranged it. I did help her arrange so it all fit on the poster and then she glued it herself. Overall it looked like a Kindergartener did it, but she was sooooo proud of herself!.. ...

just stopping in real quick - Bella is doing better...They gave her some zofran (love that stuff) and she is holding about 90% of everything down...including her meds...We will go back in on Monday for a chest xray but if her fever isnt gone by tomorrow - we will have to make a trip sooner....shes driving me nuts though with the whinning and tantrum throwing,,,Im trying to remember that she doesnt feel good and thats her way of telling me - but my way of telling her I dont like it is going to be a long nap or time out.....

Tracy~Yes I know they should said what to put in the poster, but no, they just say the student can bring any visual aid he thinks might help his presentation. My SIL works with advertisment, so now and then she makes cd of his presentation with videos that might like the kids, like the one of barracuda, he found a real life video of a barracuda, and out it on a dvd, with all the conference information on it, beside we did a poster, with some pic.

Kristyn and María~I am of no help I just can write on this thing, I just learnt that Windows vista for words, can track the bibliography and quotes for you, with any system you like, APA, Harvard or Chicago! a classmate taught me yesterday, so it will help in my next essays, no need to be writting them down on a paper, it can even track internet bibliography for you and pritted in the last page of your work! Thank you so much Bill Gates!.. ...

Lorena, that is fantastic that you got such positive feedback. Maybe you could come up with an alternative to kidnapping and then have it printed - very cool!

Hey ladies, been awhile since I posted.

I had Tyler's IEP meeting yesterday and he tested out of his EI classes! He is being recommended for their regular preschool! And since he qualified for EI services, he goes to this new school for free! It's more of a challenge for him as well as interaction with peers on his developmental level... ...

Hi.
About the barium swallow coming back normal, I was told by numerous doctors that a normal barium swallow doesn't mean that there is no stricture. It depends on the angle that the picture is taken and how the barium goes down. I was told that a normal looking barium swallow can be badly strictured and a very narrow looking barium swallow can be a perfectly normal esophagus! My son is (hopefully) going to have an endoscopy done soon and that will give a much clearer picture... ...

Yes, I did read your last post. I just hate giving her medicine. Especially since she seems to be okay now. But I also don't want to cause her more harm. In about 4 weeks we will be going back to the GI doctor and she is thinking that this is the end of the testing... ...
