Our Shining Star - Tracy O.

Please join me in thanking our newest Shining Star, Tracy O., author of her blog Little Lesley Lynn
Yes, that's right, another Tracy shines bright in the Share community and when it comes to fundraising, this Shining Star quickly learned that Pizza = $$$!
Tracy's first Pizza fundraiser was last fall when she initiated the help of a local Pizza restaurant. They had a pretty good turnout in spite of the nasty weather and although it was the Monday after the huge Thanksgiving feast, they still managed to bring in close to $150.
Tracy recently held another Pizza fundraiser but this time she enlisted the help of her co-workers. Her employer donated the pizzas and her co-workers helped prepare desserts. They even had 7 items up for raffle that were donated from co-workers and herself. Their total amount raised was $461 so they tripled their previous efforts!!
In addition to these fundraisers, she has been a huge asset here in the Share community since joining in February 2006. Tracy also volunteers for her local chapter and for the past 2 years she has sat on their MFB's Planning Committee. She also serves as Captain for Team Little Lesley Lynn.
Thank you Tracy for all of your hard work and dedication to the March of Dimes. You are a Shining Star!
