I have a question about the 17p shots.

Hi! I am 30 weeks pregnant with my 4th boy now. Our first son Anthony was induced a day past due and I had a C-section. Our 2nd son Mikey was born at 27 wks I had a VBAC. and our 3rd son Joey was born at 36 wks also VBAC. For Joey I was on bed rest since 27 weeks until he was born. Now with my current pregnancy I was told at 20 weeks that I had a short cervix. By 24 weeks my cervix was down to 2.0 cm and I was starting to funnel. I've been on bed rest since 21 weeks. I started the progesterone shots at 21 weeks as well. I have a couple questions;
1) At week 29 a couple days before my next shot was due, I had a few strong contractions then they went away. I had my injection and felt alot better. Now at 30 weeks again, a day before I was due for my shot I had 3 strong contractions then they went away again. The doctor said the baby is probably trying to come early but the shots are keeping him in. Did anyone else experience this?
2) My doctor plans on taking me off the shots at 34 weeks. I tend to have big babies and was told this one is also coming big. We are trying for a Vaginal birth again so she says this is why she will stop the shots at 34 weeks. How soon after might I go into labor? Will I still be able to hold him in till the end? or at least 38 weeks?
3) Is anyone having discharge with the shots? Maybe a side effect? I have had daily Egg white like discharge since I started the shots. Is this normal? The doctor didn't really give me a great answer when I asked.
