ALLISON UPDATE

It has been oh most a month since i last loged in many of you have prayed for Allison in OCT she was taken to blank children where she oh most died she sufferd a siezer and turned blue the doctors was worken on her and doing all they could to save her life the hospital pastor even came up u no when they call them in that they will be given bad news how ever Allison pulled through but was in a coma

long story short she sufferd many infactions and things looked bad but after 1 full month in the PICU Allison came home thank GOD

well she wasnt taken her food like she should so they kept thinken they may need to place her on a feeding tube but once again Allison proved to be strong and started eating as of right now Allison is being a normal 2 year old she is having fits and also wanting to repet every thing she heres LOL

shes useing 2 words some times more together very GOOD thing that use to be very hard for her to do

She is a daddys girl big time if daddy is around she doesnt even want her mom LOL she wants her daddy

she is starting to get in to dolls more and more even pats there backs and says BABY

santa is gonna bring her a baby doll for christmas for sure,

its hard to believe its been 2 and 1/2 years ago GOD gave us this little miracle

shes been through so much so many times it looked like she would not make it but she did

her fight will never be over she has hydro and CP,

speaking of this her new shunt was put in and seems to be worken fine she has scaring under it so they had to go in and chip some of it away

her newst CT scan showed all looking fine she has another CT SCAN SOON

ALLISON OH MOST LOST HER LIFE

It brings me grate heart brake to say yesterday my niece Allison turned Blue and stoped breathing her heart even stoped it took 15 doctors to bring Allison back She has CP and Hydro as many of you know she is not doing well At all tonight she is in a coma state she looked at the doctor and said its DONE and has been in a cona every since her shunt failed her and they had to go in and put a new shunt in but they told them they was unsure if she was gonna live now they are saying she will come out of it but its unknown if she will ever talk again

ALLISON UODATE AND AUNTIE APRILS UPDATE

will give you a update on miss Allison 1st. Shes doing Grate other then she is still not walking or crawling, OT, PT and early acess along with speach is working with her on so much, the doctors at Blank Children in Des moines ia, think its best for her to go 5 hours away to another state to see one of the best Doctors there is, He is wanting to do Botox injections to help with her leggs and also talk over maybe doing legg brace's of course Allisons mother works 10 pluse hours every day and her daddy works even longer hours 6 days a week they wanted to do this back in June but due to work they placed it on Hold and will be doing it in AUG some time so she needs much prayer over a safe trip my brother says he doesnt think of course this will be there 1st trip he thanks Blank is makeing this doctor one of her Doctors and of course with work this isnt good for them but what is best for Allison they need and will do.

We know its not fully the hydro holding her back from working but the mild case of CP as well holding her back, Other then that shes one smart baby and loves to tell storys she has a laugh and smile to warm your heart .

She hasnt had any BIG health problams other then stiff leggs and pain in her leggs i would have posted Birthday pics but of Course auntie APRIL didnt get invited to her 2nd birthday .

DUE to family issues with another BROTHER who showed up and doesnt get along with me this hurt deep since i was her FREE CAREGIVER 16 pluse hours a day and had to learn to be her nurse to as well as i put over nights in and opened my home up to all those who worked with her and talked to them she became like my baby

so u can imagen how hurt i was not to go to her birthday party.

but i do have updated pics of her enclosed.

As for me its been close to 3 months since i lost my unborn baby not so easy thing for me to handle i go to his grave alot i found out due to a bleeding disorder it would make it hard for me to get preggy let alone stay preggy to carry a baby to full term would not come so easy for my husband and me Gabriel was the longest baby we carried .

never throught much about shareing my own hurt or pain on her since i do it just for Allison but it helps to talk about it and what i face

TTC is not easy let alone to get preggy then lose my unborn babies like i have i miss them so much i love them so much

Allison has Angels watching down over her for sure.

My body is still healing slowly my periods is messed up i am a MONTH late so i dont no if i am just late or if ill get a postive test then if i do i will be so a scard if i can carry this baby full term or even at lest past the 3rd month the thoughts are scary for me to handle and yet exciting becasue i want a baby

Allison has fullfilled a void in my life for a while but now her other aunt is her child care giver and it leaves me to think of the babies i lost and how bad i want one

ALLISONS 2ND BIRTHDAY

Here is a Post i made on Allisons Birthday today, I made her a graphic but was unable to get photos since i didnt get to go to party. Also did not get to do march of dimes this year sadly since we had no car also since i had breathing problams since the death of my unborn baby, ANYWAYS heres that post

Happy 2nd Birthday Princess Allison hope

It don't seem like it has been 2 full years ago since we got the news there would soon be a Miracle baby on the way, all of the family was Excited about this Miracle, it was a Miracle we all had longed for since the death of Allison's grandpa randy at 49 in 2004,

bobbi jo had found out she was 5 months along with a baby girl, there was many ups and downs Bobbi had been on bed rest, they was trying to keep the baby ( Allison ) inside of the womb as long as they could, we set up this CB website to get prayers going out for Bobbi and her unborn baby girl. then on may 4th 2007 Allison came in to the world Just 2 pounds she was breathing on her own but for the 1st day had to be on the Breathing tube,

Family rushed back to the NICU to see Allison hope the room was packed and this made for some upset Nurses, We all got to see Just how Small Allison was, that same day we saw She would be a strong fighter she was very much active and kicking her feet so much the nurse had to use a Bean Bag on her feet so she would stop kicking,

For Allison we had to take it Moment by Moment, One Hour every thing looked find while the next things would look down, it was a roller coster in the NICU you never knew what may happen or what turns it may take.

the news soon would come that she had bleeding and water built up on her brain there was a point the doctors said Allison would not Live and if she did she would just be a Veggie for the rest of her life, Our family did not Accept what the doctor told us we keep praying and trusting GOD she would live and make it she would not be a veggie at all

Allison had countless of Blood transfusons, Infactions, Taps in the brain to drain the blood and fuilds off, And So many other things along with her once a week CT scans, many points where it looked very bad for Her and not much Hope did the doctors give us

BUT it was our faith that kept us strong we knew GOD would heal her. Allison spent the 1st 2 and 1/2 months in the NICU fighting to hold on to Life. And on July 19th just 1 day before Allisons due date She came home from the NICU we all rejoiced.

with in the 1st 2 months of being home from the NICU Allisons Shunt would fail her She would have it replaced 2 times, Allison faced many trails and battles But She was one Strong baby girl.

Today we are Pleassed to Say that Allison Hope is truning 2 years Old She May not be able to walk yet And She has some set Backs due to her Hydro and mild case of CP, But Allison is doing grate Health Wise she hasnt had any problams beside a Cold or flu in the winter she had to use the NEB for breathing treatments a few times last year ,

Allison can talk up the strom and say all kinds of Works she gets OT,PT.Early Acess and Speach, She has came such a Long Way since her NICU days And she still has a very LONG way to Come, She is a true living miracle from GOD whos blessed our family.

I would love to take the time to thank every one who has prayed and or supported Allison those whos been with us since before her birth and those of you who just now found her and are praying you have became like family to us and we are grateful.

We also would love to thank, Blank Childrens NICU nursing and doctors who worked with Allison at birth And did every thing they could to help her Fight and Live, for the care they gave to her while in the NICU,

We would love to take the time to thank her Doctors who has all worked with her,

And thanks to Karen and Juily her PT team and thanks to her OT and Spach doctors and teams,

and a BIG thank you to the march of Dimes for all they do for thesse babies.

And a BIG thanks to Family who was there with us and praying,

And to all those whos helped with Allison since her birth,

But Most of ALL we Thank GOD becasue with out him She would not had even been Here we thank GOD for the Miracle He has done in Allison and through Allison And we Thank Him for the Gift of LIFE and for Answerd Prayers

LOST MY UNBORN BABY

most of you know i lost my unborn baby back in OCT well easter sunday at 2:30 AM i started to bleed we have no car so i called every one i knew i finley got a hold of my brother Allisons daddy at 3 PM i was rushed to the ER bleeding i didnt no but i was praggy and had lost my baby yet again i bleed for close to 30 some hours with this baby,

My body is still very much week and im trying to bring my blood count up just to stand i get short winded of breath and sick and feel like i will be passing out we named our baby Gebriel Andrew we didnt no the gender but felt it to be a boy,

last night it hit me hard and i could not stop crying

did get to see my baby infact u can see his hand and fingers along with what was forming in to his head,

ill never forget how bad easter sunday truly was,

and ill never again go to Lurthan Hospital in Des moines next time im going to marcy ,

please pray for me.

As for Allison shes doing Good she will be 2 on may 4th hard to believe how fast she is growing ill post a better update later on on her thanks for prayers

22 MONTHS OLD

it is so hard to believe Allison is now 22 months old only 2 more months until 2nd Birthday. i cant help but think back to may 4th 2007 As we all waited in the waiting room for any news that she had been born, Then Before we knew it my brother came out to let us know that miss Allison hope was Born she was 2 pounds and the team of doctors was working on her

Of Course we new she had the best doctors after all they was the same set who helped bring the mcoughey 7 in to the world ,

Soon they moved her to the NICU and of course We all ran back i saw how active my niece was they was placen the wires on her but she was kicking , she was strong i wanted so bad to hold my niece and yet i knew it would be a while from that point she had very drak hair at birth,

she was so cute then i remeber as we watch her grow and every time she gained weight how re rejoiced then when we heard the words Allison may not make it she may die How we stromed heaven in prayers we wasnt going to accept what the doctors had to say at all of course by then we knew she had Hydro and that water and blood and built up fuild was on her brain we watched has she had to have brain taps to dran it and CT scans ETC blood transfusions we rejoiced over the small mile stones like her gaining weight or eating more becasue those to some may be small mile steps but to us they was BIG ones

Then she had a shunt put in to place it failed her 2 times the 3rd one worked

Now She is soon to be 2 and she is very active baby girl

Allison has her brand new eye glass's and shes doing well she doesnt even need the head band thing to keep them on becasue she doesnt even try to take them off this is how we know they are working for sure ,

Shes in a big girl bed and doing good the new car seat is going well she may not be able to walk yet but she will she talks up the strom and loves play cars she loves to give hugs and gets kiss's and Yes even at this age she loves to tase people what a joker, She even tells storys

She never seems to amaze us

We just can not believe that SHE IS going to be 2 years old

On her 2nd birthday i will be sure to post updated pics along with some flahs backs from the NICU

ALLISON HOPES UPDATE BIG MILESTONES

Allison hope is of Course 21 months old now and doing Grate, She is no longer in her baby bed and has now moved to a big girl Bed, Daddy did her room all pink, And Allison will now have to have eye glass's to help her vission, and has got them now, Allison also is starting to slowly give up her baby bottle and move to the sippy cup she still takes the bottle but not much any more and Finley Allison moved out of her newborn car seat and in to her big girl one a toddler one many changes for miss Allison hope

Still not walking or crawling but she can stand with some help and if you hold her she walks but shes still very much weak and she does get OT,PT and early acess that works with her each day, Shes one Smart baby girl

We are excited about the up coming walk Bobbi jo and Allison may walk this year with us last year Allison became sick and they could not make it but we hope this year shes not sick so we can go,

say what better way to Honor Allison on her 2nd birthday then to do this walk she will be 2 years old on may 4th just 2 days after the walk ,

We still have no car and i do not want to miss the walk so pray GOD works a Miracle and i can go and walk if not maybe some one can give me a ride and my husband we would love to go and live on the south side so far we only raised $10.00 by a online donation but we hope to raise alot more then just that,

Im so thankful for the march of Dimes and all they do and i know Allison is alive becasue of the march of dimes and becasue of GOD who has touched and healed her she may have hydro but i still say it doesnt have her

ALLISON AND AUNTIE APRILS LONG UPDATE

Wow im so very sorry that i have not loged in since July we have had some trouble with our computer going off and on we just now got a brand new lap top so i should be able to post more offten.

1st Auntie April ( me ) i have some bad news on 10-11-08 i lost my unborn baby i was 4 weeks along and my baby had a heart beat the due date was 06-08-09 this has not been easy we dont no the gender but desided to name the baby Rebekah Faith Elizabeth becasue we felt it may be a Girl its been very hard this is the 2nd baby i have lost still no birth children yet,

we are praying to do march of dimes walk again for Allison my niece it would be our 3rd year walking how ever sadly we are with out a car and have been for a while not so sure if we can afford one by then if not ill be sad not to go but ill still do my best to raise money ,

ok on to my sweet baby niece Allisons update Enclosed is a few new photos i took of her the day after Christmas,

Allison is doing Good as you know she is a hydro baby means water and built fuild and blood on brain and a shunt put in to help her, she was 2 pounds at birth and the most socking thing is to think soon she will be 2 years old this may,

Allison has had problems with her eyes they tried the eye patch that did not work so now in about a week or 2 our miracle will be geting her very 1st per of eye glass's lets hope she will keep them on and not try to pull them off,

Allison is starting to set up by her self but still is not strong to do it very long periods at one time, Allison cant crawl or walk yet as you may have guessed she still has alot of set backs

How ever this baby is smart she can say alot of things now like dada and Daddy O LOL and appe and bananna and she will answer with a no or a yes she says apebow for april and she says mama, she also has such a temper its so funny to watch her some times if she doesnt get what she wants she will toss a temper its to cute,

Allison was taken out of my care as i been her full time caregiver for 14 months of her life and of course was at that NICU all of the time but my sister inlaw thought it be good for her to have friends at day care and tryed that for a few months now she is at home with another aunt who watchs her ,

she gets PT and OT and still gets early acess who are work with her, she is eating things like home made pizza, Pudding and tacos ETC she loves FOOD but shes still on Baby food jar # 3 for now.

Allison is going on 21 months of age She is not on whole milk yet the doctor took her off baby milk at 14 months old and placed her on pedia sure she has been on pedia sure every since the doctor hasnt given the ok for whole milk yet.

Allison hope has some teeth now on bottom and on the top,

Allison is still in the newborn car seat but way to BIG how ever due to the state laws and the doctor they told her she cant go in to a biger toddler seat until the baby can set up complety on her own so its up to allisons timeing on that,

I will be haven Allison over night on the 7th of FEB and try to get newer photos then but until them please enjoy the ones i took thbe day after christmas it gives u a ideal of how big shes got the lost time they checked back in DEC allison was 20 pounds she could be biger now,

ALLISONS UPDATE

wow it has been a while since my last update on my miracle Niece i think the summer has us busy i do update on her caringbridge page alot

Anyways the eye patch did not work at all for Allison so soon they may look at eye surgary for her we was hoping she would not need this but she might end up after all needing it. Allison just turned 14 months old on july 4th she is lefting her head up and she wants to crawl but still is not there. A while back ago Allison had to do breathing treatments at home she hated that but after a while got use to them shes now off the breathing treatments. she has 2 teeth that came in on the bottom she is now 27 inch long praise GOD shes growing and shes full of smiles and now can say a few words she trys to say my name she cant say aunt just yet but she says Apebow for April LOL its amazing how far she has came since the NICU days

love being her full time caregiver big time Allison is such the joy to have Mommy and daddy are working on trying for baby #2

Allison gets Early Aces and PT still and we will be doing OT now in the fall so this will be grate for miss allison hope we cant wait, Also her Hair is growing and geting LONG

ALLISONS UPDATE

I have not posted in a while and thought i would. Allison hope is doing grate she is growing and geting more active she is starting to use that left side that is very lazy she likes her right side more but praise GOD shes starting to use that left side more and more now Allison has over came a big mile stone she has rolled over and from tummy to back she has only did that three times with auntie April ( me ) but she has finley started to do it at home with momma and dadda to she is comeing a very long way since the NICU days she just turned 13 months old on June 4th time goes very fast

Allison got to go to Oregon so she went on her very 1st air plan trip and did very well they saw her real grandma on her mommas side they drove up to CA while there and had fun

Sadly i wont be Allisons Caregiver 5 days a week now just 3 days a week due to medical reasons i found out both my tubes are blocked and i have a benine Enlaraged tumor now we no why i havent had a baby we been trying for 3 years most doctors would not due a dye test even though i wanted one they made me wait and wait GRRRRRRRR

Anyways miss Allison is going to start OT soon she gets early aces and PT all ready so that keep her bussy june 11th Allison will be going to iowa city so she can see a Neurologist the one here in Des moines just isnt any good so they want to see a better one up there to look more at her brain and the shunt and stuff since shes a hydro baby please keep that iowa city trip in your prayers but so far Allison has been a very happy baby girl she isnt crawling yet but she is lefting her head now you can tell she wants to

Our family is so blessed i no im very blessed to have Allison as my niece she makes my heart full of joy each day
