Fighting a yeast infection on breasts. Anyone have any suggestions? I have had a round of medication for yeast, not working.

Yikes sorry for my post! I didn't read the follow up where you saw your doctor and was diagnosed.

Take care and please disregard my long winded post!

Sincerely,
Lil Ricky's Mommy

Meds and breast milk

p.s
I told the Neonatologist and they were not concerned about the milk I was pumping. Even if it was yeast...they said that it was not going to hurt him. They said they rarely hold breast milk from a preemie. Pretty much only in cases of HIV and some forms of hepatitis. I was really surprised that they are good with the milk. They would have even had me put him to the breast and just treat him with oral meds. I was on cipro to clear up the bacterial infection and they told me it was ok to give it to him. The kind of bacteria I had were found in the stomach anyway, so they were not concerned. He did great. My primary care doctor was surprised that they still let me give him breastmilk while on cipro. Neonatology Nurse practitioner said it was ok.
