PERIACTIN - appetite stimluant?

sholemom6 - 02:08pm Mar 30, 2009 EST

My daughter is now 15 mos (10 mos adj), a former 24 weeker, has just been put on Periactin as an appetite stimulant. Anyone have any feedback? And long term...does anyone know if there are problems in the future with eating disorders? (Will she always need an appetite stimulant to take in enough, or does it cause a shift the other way---causing too much weight gain?) She just can't take in enough calories to gain weight -- she is SO busy - which is great. I just hate messing with meds when I dont' know what the experience has been in the past.
Feedback? (no pun intended..haha) Thanks, Shelly

I'm so sorry that I don't have any advice or experience to share, but I just had to post to say how stinkin' cute your little girl is!! She's adorable!! I'm sure that some of the others will be posting soon.

Tracy
