Cervix Shortening After Cerclage

Amanda4015 - 05:22am May 13, 2009 EST

Hi,
I'm a little more than 22 weeks pregnant and my cervix shortened from 46mm to 32-30mm in the past two weeks. I know I'm still in the "safe" window, but I'm really scared that it changed so quickly especially because I lost a son at 22 weeks in my last pregnancy. Has anyone had an experience like this? Are there any specific questions that I should ask my doctors? I had a cerclage placed at 14 weeks and have been having u/s every two weeks. My doctor told me to start coming every week for u/s now and to continue with modified bedrest (I can still go to the movies, dinner out occasionally--not sure I'm really brave enough to do any of this though). Any advice? I'm so scared!
