heartbroken grandmotherfaith2002 - 08:40am Jul 2, 2009 ESTThis is a story of the of my daughter she was married in 2000 to a wonderful man a few months later they found out they were pregnant with twins and all was good at about 16 weeks she was put on bed rest she was having problems then she was admitted into the hospital her water was leaking after a few days they could not stop the labor our angels were born at 26 weeks one pasted the first night her name was (FELICITY HOPE) her sister (DESTINY HOPE changed in honor of her sister) was still fighting and did for 18 days until her little body could not fight anymore. They were still praying for a blessing in 2001 she found out she was pregnant again but after an ultrasound they found out the baby had died. In 2002 my daughter found out she was blessed again stitches were placed this time but at about the same time problems starting again our little DESTINY FAITH was born at 2lbs and full of fight Thanks to the doctors at the southern regonial hospital in Georgia she had a few problems at first but she is now six years old and great. Two years ago her father became sick they found out after a biopsy in March of this year he had a brain tumor on April 13,2009 he passed away. Destiny Faith was the love of his life. I just wanted to thank the March of dimes for all they do without all you do she would not have her little angel who has made her strong enough to keep going

Welcome to Share. I am so sorry to hear of the losses your daughter has endured. I can only imagine the ache you feel as a grandmother for your daughter and grandchildren.
I'm thankful to hear that Destiny Faith is thriving. No doubt her father and sisters will always watch out for her. Please know that your family is in my thoughts,
Lauren

Welcome to Share! I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of the twins. I know it's hard to sit by and watch not only your granddaughters go through such a fight, but also your own child. I'm glad to hear that Destiny Faith is doing well and I'm sure that the death of her father is quite a challenge for her. Please know that we're here to listen any time. Tracy

Wow I cannot begin to imagine what you and your family have gone through. I have just gave birth to a preemie at 26 weeks and oddly enough we named her Felicity Hope...When I read your post I did a double take because some how I thought "have I already wrote in?!" her name is not that common...she was born at 2 lbs 5 oz and is doing great, we hope and pray everyday that she continues to do good and grow big and strong so we can take her home. I believe that this is blessing that I just read your post, that maybe your little angel Felicity Hope is watching out for my baby as well. I am so sorry to hear about Felicity's passing as well as Destiny's... I am so glad to know that Destiny Faith is doing great... her daddy is watching her in heaven along with her 2 big sisters.

I am so sorry that her father passed, but I am sure he is in heaven with Destiny's sisters looking out for her. Thanks for sharing your story. GOd bless,

Welcome to Share. I am so sorry to hear of all the pain that your family has had to endure. It is so hard to lose someone you love, but then to also watch your own child suffer is imaginable. We are all here for you.
