Baby Jhalawn

jhalonie09 - 08:08pm Nov 7, 2009 EST

On October the 5th, I felt like my life was over. The 3 words a mother never wants to hear "No Heart Beat". My due date was Oct 23, 2009, I was 36 weeks and 6 days, from being a new mommy again. I was almost there. I mean, I did not have any signs what so ever, until that monday afternoon, I had really bad contractions. To make a long story short it was placenta abruption, no oxygen supply. I loved him so much, it was just unbelieveable. I never thought it could happen to me. I play it over in my head time and time again, and wonder what could I have done different, but at the end of the day my baby is gone. And right now a month later, I just feel so empty inside.

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Welcome to Share. I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your little Jhalawn. There is no worse ache for a mommy to know. My heart aches with you remembering those first few months. They are absolutely brutal. Be gentle with yourself and know that Share is a wonderful place to let it all out.

My thoughts are with you,
Lauren
