aiden is home

gt97222 - 03:50am Nov 22, 2009 EST

sorry i do not post very regularly, i get caught up in everything and forget about the computer. my son aiden came home on monday the 16th, and has been doing great. he weighed 4 pounds 13 ounces the night before we brought him home, and on his checkup on thursday he was up to almost 5 pounds 5 ounces, so he has gained 4 pounds since birth, and about 6 inches. i hope everyone is doing well, or at least dealing well. it is the most wonderful experience sitting at home holding my son and seeing him smile at me. he came home on no oxygen or sensors. we have to give him a diruetic, and some vitamins. its just amazing to me that a child born weighing 1 pound 5 ounces, and being 3 months early can make the journey from hospital to home in less than 3 months. i have never fully believed in god, just the idea of him, because i had not seen any proof. everyday i have a miracle of god looking and smiling at me. sorry this is running on like this. i wish all well and will keep continuing to give updates. keep your heads up.
