kfrisaro - 10:53pm Dec 19, 2009 EST

Hi!! My name is Kristina. I just went through a loss in July at 27 weeks. My doctor had noticed that I have an incompatant cervix and I'm high risk for blood clots. They think my son died from a blood clot in the placenta. I'm 13 weeks pregnant right now and last week I had a cerclage and I will be on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy. I'm very scared right now and I'm trying to stay positive. My mom found this site for me and I joined so I could meet anyone who has gone through this and hear success stories.

Hi Kristina First I am very sorry for your loss! There are so many success stories on this site. I am hoping to be one of them in a few weeks. I lost my twin girls one year ago today at 23 weeks (they are still not sure what caused my membranes to rupture so early.) But today I am currently 30 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. I have been receivng the 17 P shots, which are really not that bad , but I do not have a cerclage since my cervix luckily is not an issue for me. Hope your pregnancy goes well- sending you good wishes- Lisa
