TWINS!

BearHugz - 04:23pm Jan 10, 2010 EST
My Quinnie The Pooh

My sister is having TWINS! she's 24 weeks along. I'm so happy for her! WE live in southern California and we are trying to find out if there is any place for moms of multiples. We aren't very rich and the multiple thing was kinda unsuspected so we are trying to find out if there are any resources out there for her. Maybe to get some free clothes and used strollers or something.

Her pregnancy is going very well. She has had no complications. She gets an ultrasound every two weeks to check on the babies and she also sees a high risk OBGYN to check on the babies once a month. Just because she is having twins, the doctors dont' take any risks and I LOVE that! So far, they are fraternal and they are both girls!

Any advise would be so wonderful and if you know of any resources here in SoCal, please, let me know! Thank you so much!

Mom to Kimberly (25 wkr, now 6 yrs!) & Matthew (38.5 wkr, almost 4 yrs!)

Hey Sarah,
I don't live in SoCal, but I have gotten great deals on used things for my kids on Craigslist.

Sorry, that's all I have to offer.

Hope your sister's pregnancy continues to go well!!!

Hey Sarah,

Maybe you can check with Jenn (lomitachicken) she lives in Southern California. She is mom to a former 23 weeker (Sethman is her blog title), she may know of some good resources.

Congratulations to your sister. I hope her pregnancy continues to be uneventful.

Take good care,
Yolonda

Sarah~

I don't know how I've missed this post for this long, but how exciting!!

I don't have suggestions either, but I know that around here, you can find things at Goodwill that has been "gently used" and it's reasonably priced. I hope that your sister's pregnancy continues without any "excitement" other than their arrivals!!

Tracy
