It's all about who you know. Randomly a friend of ours had a t-shirt company and printed ours for free! I know, we were seriously lucky. I've heard folks have success just asking companies to donate the shirts or offer a discount. No ask no get! Here is our shirt. We didn't put the year on it so we can re-use it year after year!  On the front it has our team name.. Akeelah is our Angel

You're right Lauren, no ask no get! I asked one of the local guys (ok all of them) for a discount and told them what we were doing, and he quoted me only ten dollars per shirt with no extra fees! Everywhere else on island was quoting 25 per shirt with names on the back plus a one time fee of 20-30 dollars. The cheapest I had found online was 11-12 for what I want plus tax/shipping, none of that stuff if I get it locally!
Whats your shirt say on the back, not close enough that I can read it!

Change of plans! I'm gonna just get writing and clip art and not do the photo. I think that way I would probably wear it more often than just at the walk, so I'd get more use out of it and would be able to enjoy it more! So I should be getting a new quote tomorrow! I know I'm gonna but "Team Our Angels Emilyn and Hailey" on the front with maybe two angels from clip art and then on the back have our names (Mommy, daddy, grammy, grandpa) for family, blank for not. Trying to think of something else to put on it too for MOD, but not sure what! Need to figure out a color scheme so guys will be willing to wear it. I love lime green and hot pink.....but the guys aren't too enthused.....

Oh yeah, guess I coulda figured that one out on my own probably! Love that saying!
Ha! Yeah....so not so willing! He changed the price when I went in to talk to him, raised it from 10 up to 15, can you believe that!!! Guess I'll go with online! Got a super cute design planned out, now just gotta figure out colors!
Thinkin we're gonna go with "Team Our Angels Emilyn and Hailey" on the front with two butterflies (from the ea graphics site but customized) and then the MOD logo on the back with our names (mommy, daddy, grammy, grandpa). Was gonna do two angels facing eachother, but can't find a good picture of one!

Love it! I found a lot of great images by searching images.google.com or if you have Word, searching the image gallery they have too...
Can't wait to see 'em, and can not BELIEVE they changed the price! Lame!

So lame! Cool, I'll look for other pics on there! I asked my bro to design something for me, he's going for the total guy design  . Lol, he had a black baby pram with wings on it....looks like something a biker would wear lol!!! Ah well, he's trying, guess I should be a little more specific for what I want!!!

Here's the tees that I'm gonna order from eagraphics.com the one that is the official MOD t-shirt supplier! Love them! The lime green and pink is for the girls and the green and yellow are for the guys! Love the pink and green, but figured guys wouldn't be too keen on wearing it so I made one for them too!

Very cute Stacy!! I love the pink and green too, but we had the same problem last year with our team shirts....men involved. We went with chocolate brown with teal writing. We wanted chocolate brown and pink. They turned out really cute as I'm sure yours will too!!

LOL! I'm gonna get both! I'm amazed, I advertised on facebook about selling my t-shirts and I've gotten a lot bigger response than expected! So far I've got 49 shirts on order, with another couple of days to go! Any difference between what we make and what we have to pay I'm going to donate to my MOD team, so far it should be in the range of 300 or so dollars, so exciting! Not only am I making money to help keep this from happening to others, so many people are also buying shirts that will keep their memory alive every time they wear them! That 49 doesn't include the varying t-shirt colors that I'm going to be getting extra for myself! Thus far I think I'm getting both greens, aquamarine, chocolate brown, yellow, orange sherbert, sangria (bright pink), and another one or two.....can't get enough of them

Woohoo!!! So exciting! The one I've got on is the girls. The one on the far right are for the guys. The other colors are from an overexcited proud mommy that couldn't get enough of "wearing" her daughters!

Yeah, new shirts this year. We were able to get a sponsor to give us $350.00 towards them. I'll take it and just pay the rest myself. We had these shirts for 2 years already. To expensive to keep shelling out $500.00 every year. Rather give it to the MOD.

Actually my sil, is beyond nervey and was just telling us she started a new job and he was sponsoring shirts for a baseball team so I said, totally goofing, good go ask if he'll do our shirts.
She did, told ya nervy, and he said yes

Team Miracle Babies T-Shirts
Hi Everyone,
Our walk was yesterday and we were lucky with the weather.
It rained just before and right after, but not during.
Here are a few pics of our Team shirts.
The first is my daughter Alexis and her daughter Briana.
Briana was a 27 weeker born in 2004.
My daughter was still in highschool
when she developed severe pre-eclampsia.
As you can see, they're both doing great

All these ideas are great! I teach at a high school and we used the tshirt supplier for the girls' basketball team. We were charged $4.99 each shirt, and we sold them for $10 to raise more money. We're HUGE Phillies fans, and our team name is the World Marching Champions, so we went with that. I attached a picture of some of the team members, hopefully you can see it.
