Baby Sophia
jennifermiller - 08:54am Jul 23, 2010 ESTI am new to the site. Our precious little Sophia was born in March at 29 weeks. She spent 41 days in the NICU and went home at 4 pounds with us. She flew through the NICU with no problems. When we got her home, she developed a respiratory infection and went back to the PICU within 10 days. That was terrifying. But, after we got through that (11 days) our little Sophia has been home since and enjoying her summer with her 2 big sisters. We have St. Mary's to thank and their wonderful nurses and Kidz Kare at Home for taking care of us since she has been home. Our family has been blessed.

Congratulations! Wow, what a scary ordeal you guys have gone through. I know it all too well. I am glad that she is now home and growing stronger each and every day. Your family is truly blessed. I bet you are taking many pictures of her so you can tell her all about her birth when she's older.
All my best,
Lindsay

What a cutie pie!!! I'm so happy to hear that she did well and that the stay in the PICU ended with happiness as well. I hope that we'll hear more about this little princess soon. Tracy

Welcome
Welcome to SHARE and congratulations on your little cutie. My daughter spent 30 days in the NICU after arriving at 33 weeks. Respiratory problems and illnesses are scary. We have had several dr. visits with croup, bronchitis and a cold. Glad her PICU stay was short and with a great outcome.
