Missing my son still after 6 years

mcpeakboys - 08:17pm Jul 23, 2010 EST

Six years ago I gave birth to Gavin Joseph he was 23 weeks 4 days. He weighed 1 lbs and 5.7 oz. He was only here for 4 months 21 days. This year is hard on me. My husband and I decided instead of going through fertility treatment like we did with Gavin we would adopted. We decided to adopt internationally. During the adoption process I became pregnant after doctor's told me it would never happen. Make a long story short. We welcome home both our boys withing two months. Joshua Grayson was 18 months when we came home from Russia and Jackson Matthew was only 2 lbs 5 oz when I had him. I know this jumps all around and I am sorry for that. Gonna try to attach a picture of them.

4-34 weekers (now 15, 13, 11, & 18mos.) and 26 week twins (14 mos)

Congrats!

Congratulations on your little men!
I'm sorry for your loss also..
I know the heartache of fertility treatments.. My husband and I had 3 children, then our attempt at #4 took us through a long journey, 4 IVF's , 5 FET's 3 miscarraiges.. We also chose to adopt, and were matched with our daughter in October 2008.. December 2008 we found out I was pregnant.. Received our daughter at 4 days old in January 2009, 2 weeks later found out I was pregnant with twins! My twins were born at 26+3 4 months later.. I now have 6 kids, ages 15, 13, 11, 18 mos, and 14 month twins!.. Please keep us updated on how everyone is, and welcome to share!

is it expensive with the fertility i lost a daughter 5 yrs ago n i dont have any childern i...

Re: Missing my son still after 6 years

Fertility treatment are expensive but the doctor who I went to has this program where you pay a fee for 3 or 4 IVF cycles and if you don't become pregnant you a little bit of the money spent back. I did do the IUI where I had to give myself shots and then when I was ripe was inserted with my husband sperm. That did not work and they wanted us to do IVF. I didn't do that I did an experimental operation because I have endometriosis(sp). By the grace of god it worked. If you have anymore questions I am more then willing to answer them.
