Hi mums,

I am 26 weeks pregnant. several weeks ago a friend of mine had a premature baby who unfortunately didn't survive. So I am getting nervous.
I have read in several forums and online Magazines about the reason of premature babies and mortality of the babies in earlier ages. I am trying to do my best. But I was wondering if you had same fear and feeling before a birth?
Is it normal to getting nervous?

sincerely,
Lucia

I love my kids!

Lucia, hello and welcome to Share!!!

It's ok to be nervous. But you are at 26 weeks, if your Dr and OB team are telling you all is well? Then don't worry about it?! If you have a medical history of short pregnancies, then I would worry about it....if not, DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!

The more research you do the more anxiety you will get. If you have no red flags, don't make ones.

Every pregnancy is different. Everybody is dfferent, you should not compare.

Keep us updated on your pregnancy and here's to a healthy 40 weeks!!
Love and Light,
Liz

I'm sorry to hear you are so nervous. I know how tough it is to watch close friends struggle and worry about your own baby. Liz is right! Each pregnancy is different so relax and enjoy yours! Worrying does not chance a thing-it won't make anything easier or change the outcome. Just do your best to stay healthy and let God do the rest!!
