So far everything has gone very good. the p17 shots have worked and my cevix is now thining. i think i am losing some of my mucus plug i go to the doc every 2 weeks and they check my cervix. still very nervous. i mean there are still so many things that can go wrong and i dont want to get to excited. i pray every night that everything will end up ok in the end and that i will get to meet my son.

2ND TRIMESTER SCAN

So i went the other day and had the anaotmy scan done and everything came out good. except they said that there was somthing on the brain but said that since my other tests were fine that it will most likely go away on its own and shouldnt e a problem. my cervix is strong and everything looks good. i am so excited but dont want to get to excited b/c i know what can happen in a second everything can change. we dont want to know the sex but i think i saw alittle something but i could be wrong

FIRST 17P SHOTS

So today I got my first 17p shot it wasnt as painful as I thought. the pinch wasnt bad but the medicine was burnt alittle. I loved how the nurse came to my house and i got to hear the babys heartbeat and will be able to hear it every week weither i go to the doctor or not. I am very happy with my nurse so today was a very good day. cant wait till my next apointment on thursday so i can see the anatomy scan

QUESTION ABOUT THE 17P SHOTS

so my insurance company called today and said that they do not cover the shot which is called makena. it is the only progestarone shot which is fda approved. they said that i would have to get the one from the pharmacy which is not fda approved. i am kinda freaked out like what if i am not getting the best that i could be getting. had anyone ever had this problem or took the 17p shot that wasnt fda approved. i am scared now that i am not getting the best care that i could be

CONFUSED

talked to the doctor today and they said that there is very little chance for a syndrome but the baby is messuring small. they are going to give me another sono at 18-20 weeks but right now i am just scared that the baby isnt growing how it should. has anyone else has had this happen? and what can i do to make the baby grow?

GOOD NEWS

Went to the high risk doctor today and they saw the back of the neck. which we were scared about b/c of our previous daughter who had turners and no back of the neck. they said the baby is growing and it looks good. i am still so scared untill we get over our 20 week marker and even then I am still not going to be able to be stress free b/c I know that there are so many things that can go wrong. Although today was a good day with good news and all i can do is keep praying and thank god that i have mad it this long

HIGH RISK VISIT

Well today i went to the high risk doctor for the first time. I really like how the attention was on me it felt so diffrent from the doctor i went to with the first two. They will be putting me on the 17p shots at 16 weeks and watching my cervix to make sure it isnt thining. I am really nervous about it. I am trying to destress but it isnt working to good.

STRESS

I dont know why but i have been so anxious latley and i feel so scared sometimes. I told the doctor and they said they could put me on zanax but i really dont want to take medications like that b/c i am scared of the side effects i just dont want to be stressed and hurt the baby. any one know something i could do just to de stress?

DOCTOR VISIT

I went to the doctor today and they are making me high risk. I am so happy that the new place and I finally feel like i can relax alittle. The said i would be taking the 17p shots at 16 weeks and i was wondering if anyone else has taken them? I am soo afraid of needles but i will do anything to have a baby so i just wanted to know how painful they are.

MOTHERS DAY

Today is Mothers Day and although it should be a warm and comforting day it is one of the hardest days to get through. Even though i am preganant now, the loss of my two beautiful angels is to hard to forget. Mothers day makes me miss them so much. All the wonderful experances and beautiful moments that i was supposed to share with the daughters are gone. Although this baby growing inside of me I know just like most of you that just because your preganant doesnt mean your going to have a baby.
