constant coughing and getting sick
mom2sophia11 - 12:19pm May 29, 2012 ESTSophia has been coughing to the point she throws up she is 6 months old this has been happening more frequently now. I had her at the drs yesterday to see what is going on. The dr said she has a red throat everything else looks good and to keep using saline drops it will thin the mucous. I guess it may be getting caught in the back of her throat. She was so irritable yesterday she would eat fall asleep and cry. I feel so bad for her she is drooling alot more now I am thinking it is post nasal drip to. she has her 6 month check up tomorrow hopefully I can get more answers. I have tried steam and the humidifier what else can I do she is elevated in her crib?

She was prescribed two reflux meds. To be honest, it didn't stop her from throwing up but it prevents any acid damage.
