Something Happened Our hello was our goodbye

AlwaysAvasMom - 10:53am Jun 1, 2012 EST
Too beautiful for Earth

In October 2011 We found out we were pregnant with our 2nd child. Nothing but pure excitement. At 20 weeks they discovered she had what they thought was a right ovarian cyst. The doctors did not think it was of concern and kept monitoring it. On May 17 We went in for our weekly biophysical profile and all was well. I began to bleed on May 23 which I had done throughout the pregnancy. So I went to the hospital and...Something happened

The nurse set me up and began placing the heartbeat monitor and couldn't find her heartbeat. They confirmed it on Sonogram. The next couple of hours were heartbreaking, but seeing that little angelic face was joyous. On May 23rd I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Ava Lynn. She is my little angel.

Welcome to Share. I am deeply sorry for the loss of your precious Ava Lynn. I too heard those same fateful words and it's absolutely crushing. I hope that you take things easy and that you and others allow all the time you need to heal and grieve.

Wishing you strength,

Lindsay

Hello and welcome to share. I am so sorry for the loss of Ava Lynn. I wish no one ever had to find this site due to the loss of their baby. I am also a angel mom who lost my son Baron over two years ago at 30 wks.... Everyone grieves Differntly but I remember feeling like I was on a rollercoaster in the beginning. I thought the pain who never ease. Give yourself time to grieve and be easy on yourself. The pain never goes away but it does ease in time. I found this site to be such a great support system
Thinking of you and wishing you peace
Brooke
