Miracle baby.

elwilkin - 08:38am Jun 7, 2012 EST

Hey, im gonna start by explaining what happened! I was on a night out , dancing away and i started getting stomach cramps. I couldnt move and was in unreal pain! I called a taxi and went to my house where i started losing blood. The ambulance arrived and took me to the northern general hospital, i was in there 3hours and they still didnt know what was wrong with me. I mentioned that i felt really wet so would it be possible to be cleaned up. As she lifted the covers up she said 'were gonna have to rush you to resuss' my heart started to pound as i still had no idea what was happening! When i got in the resuss room they said the next time you have a contraction push... I then found out id had a litte boy. He came out crying but then stopped. They worked on him for 2hours. I was took up to the jessops hospital where later my baby arrived. The first time i got to see him i just cried. He looked so tiny and poorly and all i could think of was the fact he nearly died. Luckily he was a healthy 3pound 8 . As i didnt know i was pregnant they are unsure of his actual age so they guessed around 28-30 weeks. Throughtout the time he was in hospital it was a battle. He was constantly on and off oxygen, he had to have 2 blood transfussions, he was enemic, had low sodium and was tube fed for 11week. The 10week we was in hospital played havoc with my emotions. Each day i went to see him , he was like a different baby. Sometimes he'd look really healthy and then sometimes he looked really poorly. We had to take each day as it came. We are now home & he is 4month and weighs 7pound 8. We still have to go for check ups and consulations. I know its hard but stay posotive , there was many days i could have broke down but after seeing my little man, i wanted to be strong for him. Please comment if you want to know anything as i am very open with everything thats happened. Thank you for reading! x
