So Father's Day is here and I want to know what your special memory with your Dad is>>>>
One of the best memories I have about my father is as a Grandpa, when he visited my kids in the NICU! <3 Kaitlyn <3 had him hooked! He would say hello to Lauren and James first because he knew that Miss Kaitlyn would not let him leave once he was near her. He would stand near her and she would hold his finger and be so calm. He would talk to her and sing. She would have been Grandpa's little girl!

My father and I have never been close and I never had one of those beautiful moments with him. Kinda sad to think about. Guess we need to work on that.
As for my stepdad I have many moment. I remember bring in my early teens and having a few girls spend the night. My parents took us to Denny's at like midnight and my stepdad decided to act gay. Very over the top. It was so funny. The waitress thought he was nuts. I also remember when I got my first heartbreak and he came home from work with flowers for me. Can't believe he's been gone two years now..

Aww girls both such nice memories.
I have so many with my dad. My favorite memory was when I was 7 years old and my mom had just gone back to work. We had field day in our school and my parents both told me they wouldnt be able to come. I was soooo upset but tried not to show it. I was use to my mom coming to everything.
Anyway field day begun and I was kinda miserable with all the parents yelling and cheering and then I remember it was my turn...it was a relay race with water balloons....all of a sudden I heard my dad screaming my name and cheering. He came!!! I was sooo happy. I still to this day remember it like it was yesterday. Best daddy ever!!!

My dad and I had a good relationship. He always tried to be at everything that we did, but I remember in particular his voice during my softball games. Somehow his voice was much louder than all of the other parents which at the time made me furious, but looking back---I was proud that he was there. Now, he's there for both me and for my daughter! Thanks daddy for all that you do! T

My dad is the one who gave me my silly, sarcastic sense of humor. (Yup, you should all thank him for that!)
But what I really appreciate is the sense of responsiblity he instilled in me. I hated it at the time - I had a job while my friends got to just hang out. I had chores while my friends did not. it made me crazy! But now, as I'm older, I see how important that was. He taught me that I had to pave my own path in life and not to wait around for others to make things happen.
I hope to instill those same traits in my kids... Thanks Dad!

I am much closer to my dad than with my mom. He listens and when I do ask for advice, he gives it to me straight. When I was younger, he'd spend most of his weekends down at the ball field offering to pitch in Pee Wee or be a first/third base coach almost all other seasons. We'd occasionally get into it as I got older and he'd question my decisions like any concerned parent would. Still worries, but now I don't mind so much. His grandsons adore him and can't get enough of playing Monster!
On top of the usual stuff, my dad taught me financial responsibility and to save for a rainy day. We've had plenty of those over the last few years and because I saved my pennies, I've been able to afford myself the time I didn't know that I was going to need.
Thanks for being there for me Dad:)

This year was the 4th Father's Day without my dad. He taught me so much, not take crap from anyone, but yet to try and be tactful about being honest. I still have to work on that. He was so involved in what my brother and I did whether it was school sports. I was daddy's little girl and had always hoped he would be able to wrestle and play with my children just as he did with me, my brother and my cousins. He was a wonderful listener and I miss him terribly. He was such a kind hearted person who would do anything for anybody
