Lost 3 babies

ashley-shanae - 05:55pm Jun 21, 2012 EST

I don't know what wrong with me I cant seem to stay pregnant long enough. My daughter was born a 25 weeks, she weighed only 1lb 12oz. She stayed in the hospital for 6 months, she had lots of problems the main problems being a hole in her heart and feeding difficulties. Today she is four and happy as ever with the only evidence that she was premature being that shes still to small for her age and her doctors think she may be ADHD. Shes my miracle baby. With her I had a placenta abruption.

My second child was born at 23 weeks, he only weighed 7 oz. He didnt make it. With him i went into labor early for no reason.

My third child was born at 16 weeks. My water broke early and the doctors had to induce my labor because i wasnt having any contractions. He did not make it.

My fourth child was born at 19 weeks at home in my own bathroom. With him i was taking the progesterone shots and was closely monitored the entire time. I had no cervical problems at all and i was gaining weight and eating right. He had an autopsy done and they told me he had acute inflammation and infection that made him so sick he passed away. They said there was no way of knowing he was sick. They say its no me that things just keep happening spontaneously and my doc believes i am able to have a healthy full term pregnancy but idk im losing hope....

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Hi and welcome to Share. I am so very sorry for the loss of all your beautiful children. It sounds like you and your doctor are having some problems might want to go see a different OB and perinatologist. If you feel like there is something more you are probably right, Momma always knows best. It's always good to get a second opinion, two heads are better than one.

Im so sorry for the loss of three of your children and hugs to that little girl of yours she is beautiful. I agree with Laura try to get a second opinion, see if there is something that is being missed or just to reassure you that maybe you can have a full term health pregnancy.

Hello and welcome to share. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious babies. I would strongly encourage you to get a second opinion from a high risk doctor. It is so important to have someone who you trust and is really going to be a strong advocate for your pregnancy.
Thinking of you

Heartbroken

No one should have to suffer this much heart break. My doctor believes the same thing, but I have yet to see it happen. It's scary to keep trying when you've been through so much loss. Wishing you all the best as you mourn the babies you've lost and make plans for moving forward.

Shannon
