My Guardian Angel

ilovemynephew2 - 02:39am Aug 30, 2012 EST

I know I dont know the pain of a parent losing a child.. But I have went through the experience of losing my nephew... All I can seem is to ask is Why God? Will the pain ever get easier? I find myself thinking of him everyday... everyone says the pain gets easier but its just getting more real every day... I just wish I had some closure to this..

Heartbroken

I'm so very sorry to hear of your nephew's passing. It is difficult to know what to do in a situation like this. As a parent who's lost a child (twins actually) I can say that knowing my family was grieving with me meant a lot. My sister is one of the few people who always remembers my sons, her nephews, and does something special on their birthdays. I hope that your sibling knows that you are hurting, too, and that your nephew's life was important to you. Try to be there for each other and visit us here any time.
