BABY NUMBER 2

Feb 08, 2010 01:16pm (EST)

Our daughter who will be four this month was born at 29 weeks and spent 8 weeks in the NICU. She is doing wonderful and you would never know she was early. A few years after having her we decided to try and have another baby. We landed up having two miscarraiges which was very hard. In 2009 we found out we were pregnant agian we did not share the news with anyone because we were scared. The pregnancy was going well and then at 27 weeks my blood pressure started to increase and there was protien in my urine I thought oh no not agian I just cried I was so scared that we would have this baby early to. Everything was happening the same way it did with our daughter. Then one night I told my husband I felt that the fetal movements had decreased we went to the hospital I was 29 weeks and the doctor says he thinks the baby is going to follow in the footsteps of his older sister and come early. So here we go agian this time we knew what to expect but that did not make it any easier. Now we have our two kids one girl and one boy. Our son spent 7 weeks in the NICU before coming home and being that it is flu season our daughter was unable to meet him until the day he came home. She loves him with all of her heart and it is wonderful to see them together.
