About Share Your Story Share is an online community for parents of babies born prematurely or who have spent time in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Brought to you by the March of Dimes, share is intended to offer parents a safe place to talk about their experiences and gain support from each other. About Prematurity Even when you do everything right during pregnancy, you can have a premature baby. Prematurity is a silent crisis in America. The March of Dimes Prematurity Campaign is a five-year, $75 million research, awareness and education campaign to help families have healthier babies. If you've had a preterm birth, the odds of having another are increased. Talk to your health care provider about ways to reduce your chances of premature birth in the future.
