Well good grief! I logged on earlier today and never posted anything after I read..... I'm so brain dead today!

Ansley spent the night with my parents last night and I stayed up later than usual with the knowledge I'd get to sleep in today....well, at 8 a.m., my mom called to tell me that Ansley was sick and I needed to pick her up since my nephews were also there. Needless today, not exactly what I had planned for the day. Her last episode was around 9 this morning and since then she's been fine. Great news, but still no sleep.

Only 4 more days of school left for students---6 official days for us. I'm pretty sure that it's going to take more than that to get everything packed up and ready to move though, but it's a nice thought.

KHolley - May 14, 2012 9:51 pm (#110 Total: 236)

Tracy-I am so jealous, we still have 16! I hope that Ansley feels better.

Laura-Sending you lots of hugs.

I am getting that summer fever here, spent a few weekends on the boat. I am so excited for summer vacation!!!!!!!

stacyat - May 14, 2012 11:12 pm (#111 Total: 236)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Liz and Laura: Big hugs to both of you!

Tracy: Boo on the no extra sleep! I hope Ansley feels better soon!

Had Elim's 15 month checkup today! He's 24 lb 9 oz (70%), and 31.75 inches tall (50-60%)! Got three shots which he was not happy with, especially when I laid him back down after to fasten up his pants.

Akeelah's Mommy - May 15, 2012 2:02 am (#112 Total: 236)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lil' Elim has officially passed Micah in the weight department... he's got about an inch on him... but I'm guessing Elim will make short work of that! Bummer on the shots! I gotta bring Micah in to finish one set up and I'm totally procrastinating!

Tracy- Booo on less sleep. Hope Ansley feels better soon.

Katie- I had to laugh because the other day for some reason I thought winter was coming... I forgot we hadn't had summer yet!

Monday Monday...

aww so cute our little boys are....poor little buggas but with those shots..hated doing it to Maddie...felt guilty

OMG this heartburn is no joke. Told my dr but he suggested a scope...aahhh not happening...said I would deal but gotta say its times like this I wanna shove the tube down my own throat. Its so bad two weeks ago I thought I was actually having a heart attack...almost made Keith call 911 I've been popping tums like candy and swore it was coming back worse 30 minutes later...only to tonight google it and said that tums does that because of the calcium. ...so mad.
I can usually deal with pain and annoying things..not a complainer with that but this is unreal. Its even in my back. Help...any ideas. Scared to try the watermelon thing that I just read on google, scared any food would make it worse. (ok done complaining,,,,dont want anyone to think I'm that annoying preggo with the audacity to complain)

stacyat - May 15, 2012 3:07 am (#114 Total: 236)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: No way, really?! He has been packing it in recently.

Jessica: Are you to the point that you can take something more than tums? I think I was taking pepcid with Elim, pretty sure that's the one I was on, I had to take that every day twice a day but I forget when I started it. If I missed one single dose I paid for it for two or three days. Sleeping (or lack of it) was miserable, it just hurt so much to lay down! Don't feel bad for complaining, some things just suck and that doesn't make you appreciate your little miracle any less!

Oh, the worst thing about today? His pediatrician is leaving the practice. Seriously, this just sucks! They're not supposed to leave us, we're supposed to leave them when the military moves us!! Ugh, so totally super bummed. Good thing is she gave me her schedule (but I forgot it) for working at the urgent care clinic that takes our insurance, but still, she won't be his doctor anymore. We'll just switch to her partner who we've seen just as often but yeah, we loved her. She's going to a less-stress job with 2 days a week, only sick calls so she can stay at home with her little girl more often and wants another baby (her daughter was a clomid baby) and have been trying for awhile with no success, so less stress is the answer.

Thanks Stacy...yes he said I could and now I'm gonna start. I was just being a chicken and trying not to take anything but thats not working to well. Think I'm gonna try the same thing you did. Its a killer! Never thought it could be this bad.

Hi Liz!

Boo on the pediatrician. That totally stinks especially when you find someone you love and trust...so hard to find another to live up to them. Hope you love your next one even more xoxo

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Jessica - Sorry for the heartburn. Yeah, go for Pepcid. You need relief and sleep:)

Stacy - That does stink! I'm sorry your pediatrician is leaving, but as I read more, I totally understand the stress part of the equation. Hope it works out for her and glad to know that you've got a second ped in mind to fill her shoes.

Liz- HI!

I had a meeting today with my DDD coordinator. How did it go? Well, we were able to start the process of getting some services approved. The speech is my #1 right now, so that will most likely be the only thing happening immediately for Mr. T. The visit was long and so many things/issues were brought up. I wish people would keep their religious beliefs to themselves sometimes:(

NathansMom13 - May 15, 2012 11:38 pm (#119 Total: 236)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Ugh, that stinks about the pediatrician. It's so hard to find one you love and trust.

Jess, I never had bad heartburn with either pregnancy but my SIL said that almonds and milk would help hers, but the calcium in milk would prob cause the same prob as the calcium in Tums.

Hi Liz!

So we had Nathan's IEP meeting (did I already talk about this) and not much changed. Still no one cares about the bus issue, he's currently getting NO services since they were all based out of his preschool. I have to call some people tomorrow to get this figured out, I hate being the bad guy sometimes but I wish they would all see that I just want to keep Nathan safe!

Angel Love - May 16, 2012 1:53 am (#120 Total: 236)

Laura~ You're not the "bad guy" for keeping your kid safe. They are for letting it continue without trying to handle it first thing. Do you know what would happen with my job if I did that??? Yeah....what job???

Stacy~ Boo on the ped. leaving. Ansley's ped. was killed in a car accident right after Ansley turned 2 and it was so heartbreaking for us!! We'd been through so much and we knew that he knew Ansley and all of her quirks. It took a long time to trust the new dr. fully and it's still the former guy's name in my phone for the office!

Lindsay~ Dare I ask how religious beliefs fit into a services meeting??? Interesting......

Jess~ I hope you get relief from the heartburn. I had it one time bad enough to think I was having a heart attack.....HORRIBLE!! After that there was a note to self to stay away from cajun food until after the arrival of the twins!

Ansley was fine by lunch yesterday!! Whatever it was was short lived and she was in full swing this morning for school.

The principals of the new schools were named tonight and I have a feeling that we'll find out something soon regarding where we'll be heading for next school year. I'll be fine, but hopefully I'll be somewhere that Ansley will be comfortable with as well.

Tracy - Hi:) We were talking about something and then it went to "well, I don't know how spiritual you are, but . . . " It was just upsetting. It was unprofessional and the focus was taken off of our kiddo. The guy is actually leaving and moving to another department/cubicle, so thankfully we'll be assigned a new coordinator very soon.

Madisons mom - May 16, 2012 7:42 pm (#122 Total: 236)

Laura..thats so funny you said that with the almonds and millk....tried doing that during the day yesterday figuring i would ease the acid way before bed...umm....BAD idea. The milk made me terrible. I am a total idiot but.. I never can drink milk but usually just run to the bathroom and get queezy...yeah...acid at 5:00 I'm a dummy

Lindsay..really dont know why anyone would be bringin religion into a meeting...just give you the services and but out.

Laura....your not the bad guy at all...there gonna brush you off hoping you go away...I would be a bulldog if I were you. how dare they. Go after them.

Hey all! Happy (very belated) Mother's Day! Hope it was beautiful for all of you.

There's no way I'm going to remember 73 posts. Massive brain fry. And it's just been kind of a bummer of a week. Where's that cabana boy? Does he still give massages?

Sixteen more school days here. Can't come soon enough. We all need something to give around here. Oy.

Happy thoughts and hugs!!

Hi girls... been eons since I stopped in. I'm so busy trying to keep up with work, the girls, the house and artwork that my head is spinning most days. wish I could clone myself.

let's see what I remember.

jess, congrats! Sorry about the heartburn. I had it too. I made sure to move around a lot after eating, which helped somewhat. Doesn't take much for heartburn during pregnancy.

Lauren: Micah is too cute. he sounds like a little mobster.

Stacy: what are you doing in little rock? How is elim. When does Charles leave?

Donna: remember when you told me that age 3 was worse than age 2? Oi vey. I'm ready to tear my hair out with kaelin somedays
sorry to hear about the girl bothering Grace. has that resolved at all?

Lorena: how is work?

Forgive me.. I'm on my phone. hate autocorrect!

Erin

Ignore the modems and my reference to artwork. I meant yardwork!;

Angel Love - May 17, 2012 1:50 am (#127 Total: 236)

Erin~ I think the pics give you the perfect reasons to have autocorrect!!! I was about to comment that I didn't know you were artsy, but now that it's yardwork....I understand!

Jess~ I hope the heartburn eases up......

Donna~ Hope those days fly by! Ours are.....only 2 more!!!

News today---I'll be teaching 2nd grade next year. I'm okay with that. It's been a while since I had 2nd grade, but I guess I can readjust. Really, they're all the same....some are just taller.

liz loschinskey - May 17, 2012 4:59 am (#128 Total: 236)

T- hooray! !!

Tracy - I love second grade. They're old enough to carry on a conversation and start to critically think, but young enough they still like school and respect their teachers. Have fun!!

Jess - Oy on the heartburn. Hope you find relief.

Erin - artwork, yardwork....lol. Girls are adorable!!! And 3 is absolutely atrocious. I started counting down the days until he turned 4 the day after Ethan turned 3. Good luck!! And as for the girl drama at school, yes it has eased up a bit. Thanks for asking!

Ahhhhh....need massive amounts of coffee today. Went to bed late, and then Ethan was in my bed grinding his teeth all night. Made me grind my teeth so then I had to get up to find my mouth guard. Bible study this morning, and then a quiet afternoon until Grace's band concert tonight. Wonder if I can get away with wearing ear plugs?

Abigail's Mom (29 weeks, 3/21/05)

Erin- I'm with you 3. was not my favorite. I think 2 was much better.

Tracy- Yay! I am so glad you got your assignment. Boy, they really kept you guys guessing until the end.

Jessica- Good luck with the renters.

We have two more weeks of school left. Abigail is sad. She doesn't want first grade to end but we have a big summer planned with my work which is why I have been MIA and will be more so in June/July. My students are done. Graduation was interesting but fun and now the undergrads return to the lab on Monday so another big upheaval.
Does anyone have a big weekend planned? My parents are here so they are running errands and going to babysit. Yay. So ready for a night out. Have a great day.

Tracy - Oh, 2nd grade:) I hope that will be an okay transition for you. I'll have a 2nd grader next year. Hope the last few days of school end well for you. I know it's going to be a huge pain to pack up (again)

Donna- Yuppers, counting down the days! Exciting, but sad that another school year is here and gone.

Erin - I was laughing at the artwork. I was thinking, wow, she's an artist too?! That's awesome! Although, I think we're all sort of creative artist people in our own ways. For us, it was the terrible three's:)

Jess - Hoping those people will jump on the apartment:) Keeping fingers crossed:)

Ellen - I know. My first grader is thinking that he is going to have the same teacher next year for 2nd. I'm reminding him that he's going to have a different teacher and he's a bit sad. We rolled our eyes at a few things his teacher did (way too much candy), but in the end, our son learned A LOT from him. Have fun on your night out:)

Mr. T has speech today. Taking my car in tomorrow. Got to be the starter or the fan belt (or both). Come on car, hang in there! I opted for that 2-year renewal on tags, so hoping it will endure another year.

I love my kids!

I can't help but boast about it but, Tori got discharged from Pulmonology this morning. Yes, I cried! Yes, we both cried this morning at 6am to be at Children's by 8. She's growing up, you guys. Wiping poop on the walls today, graduating college tomorrow. I'm so proud, I could pinch myself.

bbl...

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Liz - Yay Tori!!!

Lindsay - fingers crossed for your car! Hard thing for kids to grasp that they change teachers every single year, unless you're my boys and have the same teacher for 2nd and 3rd (can I get an Amen??!!)

Ellen - Wahoo for a night out!

Weekend plans....hmmmm.... annual art festival at school tomorrow. Grace and a few of her ballet classmates are dancing (one of her dance teacher's kids go to our school). Saturday is baseball for Ryley and a slumber party for Grace. I tried to talk Michael into getting a sitter for the boys Saturday night, but he's having none of it. Grrrrr

Angel Love - May 18, 2012 2:17 am (#135 Total: 236)

Liz~ Woohoo for Tori's big girl self!!!

Lindsay~ Ansley just happened to get the same teacher for 2nd and 3rd, but it was all thanks to the fruit basket turnover that we all did last year. It was wonderful for the transition to the new school though.

Donna~ Sounds like another busy busy weekend for you! I have an idea, why don't you and I go out and leave Michael with the boys!??!!

Ellen~ I'm curious of what all the fun will be about this summer!!

One more day...... Hopefully most of my kids will go home with parents after their awards ceremony in the morning! Can I get some fingers crossed??????

I've taught 2nd grade before for whoever mentioned that and there are "benefits" to teaching that age group too. My take on the whole teaching thing is that they're all the same, some are just taller than others.....

Gotta get my rest....lots of packing to do!

stacyat - May 18, 2012 3:53 pm (#136 Total: 236)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Jessica: How are you doing? Heartburn any better?

Erin: Just getting away for a couple of days and eating at all our old favorite restaurants!

Donna: Ewww, I hate grinding teeth, Elim did that for one day and I couldn't stand it!

Liz: YAY for being discharged, that's fabulous news!!!

At the father in laws house now! Have limited computer access, the only computer is in the room Elim sleeps in with no wireless internet so I can only get on while he's awake! Hope you're having a great week! We're headed home tomorrow late morning.

NathansMom13 - May 18, 2012 6:27 pm (#137 Total: 236)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Liz, I seriously laughed at "wipping poop on the walls today graduating college tomorrow" So exciting that she got discharged from pulmonary.

Tracy, if I lived closer I would totally help you pack. I actually like to pack, it's part of my organization OCD - lol.

I've been cancelled three times at work this week, so frustrating. I like the extra time with my kids but I need the money from working. Oh well, complaining about it isn't going to change that I was cancelled. On the bright side, it gives me time to get the house cleaned.

liz loschinskey - May 18, 2012 10:21 pm (#138 Total: 236)

I love my kids!

Stacy, safe travels!
Tracy-Packing. eww. I don't even like packing for vacation, let alone, moving.
Laura, hahaha, it is true. Also, I'd be extremely frustrated if I got cancelled 3 times in one week. I have to eat, too.
Ellen, nights out, excellent!!
Donna, Arts festival sounds cool.

Me? Headache behind my left eye, Grimm season finale tonight! YaY! Dinner, then outside to play for a couple hours before bedtime.

bbl....have a good weekend, too!
