My Miracle

Hey everyone this is my now 4 year old daughter, Chrystina's story!

I had gotten pregnant at an early age of 19 and was having a fairly decent pregnancy until i developed preeclampsia. I didnt know what this condition was until i had gotten sick and had to be rushed to the emergency room. My blood pressure shot sky high and felt really dizzy. To make a long story short i spent almost a month and a half on strict bed rest in richland hospital until they decided to induce my labor and deliver her early at 28 weeks because my organs started to shut down. Prayfully she came out crying with her eyes wide open and breathing on her own but only weighed 1 lb 12 oz so she was immediately rushed to nicu. There she spent 4 and half months until she was okay enough to come home with me. In between that time she had to have surgery on her stomach to insert a gtube and nissen because she had severe reflex that affected her breathing. After the surgery they had to resusitate her because she had stopped breathing. During this time also one of her lungs colapsed and had to put on the oscaltor for a week then down to the ventilator.

She has since then grown to become a big girl even with her limits and we still can not take her off the medicine just keep changing them. She is my blessing from above and very grateful god saw fit to let her live.
