Local Ambassador Family's
Debbie Bohn - 02:32am Jan 15, 2006 ESTI am so excited because we are going to be our local Ambassador family this year! Do they do this every where? I think it is going to be fun. I am a little scared about public speaking so I don't think I would be a very good National mom but this is a start. Who knows maybe some day huh?

Hi Deb,
You can find more about this in the Get Involved folder. We have the honor of having several local Ambassador Families on Share from all over the US, we even have the priveledge of having a very active former National Ambassador family on Share..
Perhaps Nancy can move this discussion to join some of the others. In the meantime, head on over the the get Involved folder and you can meet some other families, too!

First event!
I had my first event today as the local Ambassador Family! It went very well. I was so nerves that I was going to loss it talking to people about the kids. I did shed some tears and so did everyone in the room but I made it through and now that I have got one event under my belt the rest should be easy, I hope. I was very proud of my self..(it's ok to be proud of yourself right? lol). Would you believe that our family doctor was there to talk about premature birth also, I was so happy to see him and he was happy to see us also I think..he is a wonderful man and has taken great care of our children since they came home. I think I went a little of track? Any way I just wanted to share with anyone who might also be a local ambassador that might be like my self when it comes to public speaking, (a big baby chicken) if it is something you feel strongly about like your children it is easy to do. I am actually excited to go to our next event. Good luck to all and happy fund raising!
