my pregnancy

kbaughn04 - 11:01pm Aug 19, 2006 EST

My name is Komal, I am a single teen(20 yrs old) parent. My daughter who is now almost two was 5 weeks premature. My pregnancy was not so good to begin with. I wasn't gaining any weight, to be exact I only gained 14lbs. I went into the hospital at 33 weeks, and was already 5 cm dilated. My doctor had put me on some steriods and antibiotics to reduce my dilation. I was in the hospital until I gave birth which was exactly two weeks later (35 weeks). My daughter(Aryona) was born at 4lbs 14oz. She did not have to go into the NICU, but thankfully i went into the hospital when i did or else i might have lost her. She had been pretty healthy; up until last winter. She was non-stop sick the entire winter. She then had a high fever which lead to the emergency room 20 mins later- she had a siezure. It was the most horrible thing that has ever happened to me.

Welcome to Share. Thanks for telling us about Aryona's birth. I'm with Amy, do you know what the seizure was from?
