Brizzy Baby

garciamaggie89 - 12:54am Aug 13, 2011 EST

My name is maggie, on june 12th,2011 i had my twin girls, brizeida and elayza. they were born at 23 weeks and 6 days. Elayza was sicker than brizeida and she passed away 11 days later of renal failure. I was in so much pain. till not to long ago brizeida was still very sick, but then she started doing well. brizeida was taken off the ventilator and put on the bubble cpap. Today brizeida had a big spell and was put back on the ventilator. she is 32 weeks and 5 days. Im so sad today cause she was doing so well and now i feel like she is never going to come home... im so sad. i miss and love my baby. i only get to see her 3 times a week cause i work and i cant afford not to. its hard to cope and im trying not so hard not to break down but its so hard. i dont know what's going to happen but i pray that she will be ok. i love you brizzy baby.

I am so sorry for the loss of one of your precious babies. nothing prepares you for such a chapter in your life. i am happy to hear that your Brizeida continues to fight. The nicu journey is such a rollercoaster ride but what I learned during our 122 day stay, just as fast as things go in the wrong direction, they can turn around just as quickly. Please keep us posted on Brizeida progress.

Keeping you and your precious baby in my thoughts.

Take good care,
Yolonda

Welcome to Share Maggie. I am so deeply sorry to hear of the loss of one of your precious babies. You are such a strong lady. I hope with all my being that your other little baby girl will get off the vent soon, meet her NICU goals, and come home to you.
Continue to stay strong and know that I'm thinking of you.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of one of your babies and the set back with the other one, i understand completely as i lost my baby after 24 days of fighting. It is very difficult seeing them like that but know that the NICU doctors and nurses are doing all they can to help her. I am so grateful for all the support i received from the staff during my stay.
Keep strong.
