That does not sound silly at all. It sounds very positive. It is nice to realize the gifts our children opened us up too. She would be proud that you are doing all these things in her honor.

The anniversary dates can be so hard It's really wonderful that you are volunteering at your NICU. I'm sure Padma is proud of her mommy!
