Lauren - Nope, no extra hours in the day here. I don't usually get it all done. lol. What time do you have to leave to get to Oahu by 8am? The Zoo sounds like a perfect plan. Oh, and there's a rumor running around that my family (brother, sister, nieces, nephews, parents, in-laws and us) are headed to Maui in 2013.

AWESOME!

Our flight leaves at 6:09am... which thank goodness we have such a po-dunk airport, I can leave my house at 5am and actually be on the plane on time... which means getting up sometime around 4am. I should probably just call it a night already!

It'll probably be mid-Summer. We have to work around end-of-school for eight kids, as well as sports and dance recitals. We haven't been since Ethan was two. We're due!

KHolley - Feb 7, 2012 6:27 pm (#53 Total: 319)

Lauren-Boo! I hope that the appointment goes well. Safe travels!

Donna-Girl you are one busy lady!

I did get the cast off on Monday. It is still broken, but I begged and pleaded for him to take it off. He did, but it hurts like crazy. I can deal with pain, just not the cast!

LilyGrace'sMom - Feb 7, 2012 7:04 pm (#54 Total: 319)

Thinking of Kyle and sending lots of hugs and prayers

Hey y'all! Just swinging by to give Lauren a big hug and congrats! Miss y'all. Hope everyone's doing well.

Miss you girls!!!!

liz loschinskey - Feb 7, 2012 8:53 pm (#56 Total: 319)

I love my kids!

Hey everyone!

Lauren, safe travels! How was your dr. appt?
Jackie, hoping work/kids/life balances out soon!
Tracy, How's Ansley? Haircut? What's that? 11 months can't come soon enough.
Jess, busy day yesterday...yikes! Yay Giant fans!
Donna, that's way to much, I'd be on extreme overload. 1 thing at a time is my only advice.
Katie, did your arm smell weird when you got your cast off?

Things are ok here. Headed to Harrisburg this weekend to visit friends. 4 hours in the car with my dh may give me a stroke along the way. Tori has her yearly eval with early intervention tomorrow. Bringing on an OT, brought on a nutritionist 2 weeks ago(she's gained 8 ounces by simple suggestions) still 19 pounds. Yearly eval also means Miss Tanya(Developmentalist) who's been here over a year a big part of T's life(She's done every m4b walk with us) will be testing Tori. We know Tori is going to test out of her care. I'm hoping we can keep her as an umbrella type of person who keeps track of all of Tori's issues and reports back. We will find out tomorrow. My heart will break if Miss Tanya leaves us. My heart will break for Tori as she stands at the door "Tanya, tanya, tanya, let's play! Wanna play?"

It's CHD awareness week. Tori had an ASD so her heart defect is a big deal in this house. Wow...I just typed HAD. She HAD an ASD. She is blessed.

Keeping Kyle in my prayers, and yes, even Tori can say Kyle...(more like Kie) and we pray extra hard for him and the family when a surgery is coming up.

What the heck is there to do in Harrisburg?

Miss ya guys
bbl...

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Katie - What did I miss? Cast? Yay for getting it off, but what happened?

Lauren - BOO on the rain!!! How did everything go?

Jess - Skinny? Thanks. I guess I don't think of myself as that busy, especially because I don't work. Yay for OT checks!!

Liz - I'd push, kick, and scream to hang onto wonderful Tanya as a safety net if nothing else. Once you get rid of a service, it's so hard to get it back. Good luck!! As for Harrisburg, I am no help. DOH!!

Ahhhhh.....lunch out with some ladies from church. So nice to just be a girl, ya know? Then I got to shop with a gift card. Double bonus!

Angel Love - Feb 7, 2012 10:24 pm (#58 Total: 319)

WHAT???? What that Jaclyn in the Cafe??????????? HEY GIRLIE!!!!

Lauren~ Every Monday is no school.....Remember? We're on a 4 day school week here. NO money = NO extra power bills, bus fuel, etc. Hope the DR. appt. went well today!

Donna~ Aww.....sounds like fun lovin' on the little one!! I get to love on my best friend's little man in just a few!! Sounds like you're cranking up the busy-ness already!!

Off to class.....I'll check back in a while.

LilyGrace'sMom - Feb 7, 2012 11:08 pm (#59 Total: 319)

Thinking of Kyle and sending lots of hugs and prayers

Hey, Tracy! It really is me! How have you've been? Thanks for hollering back! You still taking classes? There's an Instructional Specialist (early childhood/spec Ed) position in Peach City. Is that near you?

Donna S - Feb 7, 2012 11:11 pm (#60 Total: 319)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Hi Jac!!!!! Good to *see* you back in the Cafe!!!

lvazquez - Feb 7, 2012 11:27 pm (#61 Total: 319)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Donna: Oooh Maui sounds like a fun time! That would be so cool if you could meet up with the Wilson household in 2013:)

Lauren: Hope your plane ride was okay and made it to your appt. on time with all that weather. Your little one is growing up. You can have your chest to yourself . . . for a little while anyway:)

Tracy: Hope Ainsley is feeling better. Yay for those 3-day weekends! I'd totally go for that in my District. I'm hearing from the grapevine that my school might be cutting my position next year. I was hoping for a .6 next year too. I'm sure I'll know more soon. I'm checking around (again) in other districts as a back up.

Jackie: I think it's neat that you found something that you can do nights from home. I understand the frustation. You'll get into a routine in no time:)

KHolley - Feb 8, 2012 12:12 am (#62 Total: 319)

JAC-Oh how I've missed you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liz-Good luck with the car ride! I hope that you are able to keep Tanya!

Tracy-They are really looking at 4 days weeks for us, not sure how I feel about this one.

Donna-Best story ever, something fell from a shelf and landed on my arm. Broke the bone that connects my thumb and finger. I had an awesome neon green cast for three weeks. It's only off because I threatened the doctor, I made him take it off. Still broken though!

stacyat - Feb 8, 2012 3:40 am (#63 Total: 319)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Hey Ladies! Hopefully I'll get caught up tomorrow, I've been out most of the past couple of days between being sick and wearing myself out with my necessary errands. Hopefully back to feeling up to par tomorrow! Hope you all are having a great day!

LilyGrace'sMom - Feb 8, 2012 4:44 am (#64 Total: 319)

Thinking of Kyle and sending lots of hugs and prayers

Hey Donna and Katie!

Katie, you broke your finger bone? Only you!
Donna, Mickey was drafted to the Giants for Spring baseball...your neck of the woods, sort of.

I'm hoping to make more appearances more often.

Exhaaauuuuussstteeeed... but great day, children's museum was a hit, fab appointment, totally heart our MFM and am going to ground all flights so he can't leave. I'll blog about it when my eye lids aren't falling down.

KHolley - Feb 8, 2012 12:52 pm (#66 Total: 319)

Jac-That's what I said, only me!!!! I did get a nice accident insurance payment!

Lauren-Maybe he will have a change of plans, like no planes in Hawaii that work!

Stacy-I hope you feel better.

Alex's first karate tournament is in two weeks, we are gearing up for tournament season, I mean, Alex has a National Title to defend!!!!!

Katie - Only you, girlfriend. lol

Lauren - Glad everything went well. Was thinking about you!!

Jac - Saw that on FB. I grew up in the Bay Area. We're A's fans, but I have been to TONS of Giants games. Go Mickey!!! Ryley is an Angel this year (well, he's an angel every year - heeheehee).

Spoke at our DMV this morning for their kick-off. You'd think after all these events, I wouldn't still get so nervous. My legs were totally shaking and I didn't have a podium to hide behind!

Madisons mom - Feb 8, 2012 5:46 pm (#68 Total: 319)

Angel Love - Feb 8, 2012 11:44 pm (#71 Total: 319)

Jac~ We're doing well. It's a huge long story with all the drama in life since we last talked, but it all settles down okay for now... Yes, I'm still taking classes. I graduated in July with my Master's and I'm working on my Specialist now. I will be finished in December. Peach Co. is right outside of Atlanta so about 2 hours away.

Donna~ Podiums are nice, but due to my job I'm a "walker" and forget to stay near the microphone. I'm sure you did great anyway!!

Katie~ I like the schedule better than I did earlier in the year, but I still feel like I don't get to spend a lot of time with Ansley during the week. I guess that's partly my fault because of my grad classes. One day a week makes a difference.....

Lindsay~ Bummer on the threat of cutting your position. They're going to have to cut positions here again and we're already operating bare bones, so everyone is afraid to do anything "wrong" for fear we'll get the ax!!

Lauren~ Good grief!!! You sure coulda gotten preggo sooner to bring back old friends!!!

Funny thing happened today---- My sister usually drops the kids off at church on Wed. night and saves me a trip into town. Tonight, I needed to take them so she could do something else, and on my way past my own house, there was a man changing a tire in my driveway. (No big deal because I live on a busy hwy. and it's much safer that way.) When I came home, there were 2 men in my driveway!! Both were pretty embarrassed when I turned in, but after many apologies, they changed the tire and headed on. 2 men!! Wish it was that simple!!

LOL! And did ya get their digits?!?!?!

KHolley - Feb 9, 2012 1:08 am (#73 Total: 319)

Tracy-Were they good looking? Where are the pictures?!!!!

Jessica-When you get down here, you better make some Italian food!

Is it bad to say that I am excited that the hubs is going hunting all day Saturday?!!! I need me some nap time with the kiddos!

I don't think so. Vacation days from hubbys are nice here and there.

Anyone have any fun Valentine's plans? Besides of course celebrating Elim's birthday!

esgf - Feb 9, 2012 3:47 pm (#75 Total: 319)

Abigail's Mom (29 weeks, 3/21/05)

Lauren-Glad the appt went so well. When is he supposed to leave? Did you get to meet the new one?

Liz- I hope the appt went well today. I remember the day Abigail graduated from the NICU dev clinic. They gave her an angel teddy bear from MOD. I took a pic. One of my favorite days. She was just over two and still weighed 19lbs. At almost 7, we're still at 40. Seems like some kids just don't like to gain weight no matter what. It is so frustrating (I thought). Good luck.

Donna- Glad the speech went well.

I hope everyone's kids are feeling better. DH stayed home sick today. I have had a series of bad events but I feel like they are coming to an end. The week is starting to look up and always good to be back in the cafe. Plus a Duke victory over UNC always makes the day go better. Have a great day ladies....

Abigail's Mom (29 weeks, 3/21/05)

I have no Valentine's ideas. Anyone have any good ones? Abigail has decided somehow that she gets to be part of whatever it is...?
