Lauren, that's great about the no bad news at the appt! Samantha, I am very excited to learn what you are having, share as soon as you know! Well I am 21 weeks now, starting to get even more nervous than before, wasn't sure that was possible! Last time we were just 6 weeks away from delivering and had no idea. My next MFM appt is on June 8. DH is always laughing at my pregnant self...last night his parents took us out to eat for my b-day. Bread pudding is our favorite dessert, so we ordered it, but I asked the waiter to put the rum sauce on the side. He said that is the best part. I said, "I don't one any rum sauce on it, not one bit. I am pregnant, do you understand?" DH thought this was hilarious, as when the rum sauce gets cooked, the alcohol is really cooked out. He is sure that the waiter spit in our dessert after I was so bossy to him. I just know that there are a million things that could go wrong, why add to it by eating rum sauce?  I need some help! Tucker has been very sweet throughout the pregnancy, today I asked him "who is in momma's tummy?" he said "baby brudder" I asked "what is his name?" he said "baby brudder." How cute!
We decided to name him Easton John, so now we need to start teaching Tucker his name. But it would be cute if he just called him brudder for a while.

Well its a boy and we couldn't be happier!! He is perfect which was music to my ears now if the rest of this pregnancy could be uneventful i would be sooooo happy!!!

Leigh- That's pretty funny! I love the name... sooo handsome, like I know this lil' one is going to be. And may no shoes drop between now and the next six weeks or the next 19!
Samantha- CONGRATS!! So glad baby looked great. I guess maybe Trinity wanted to be sure she was your one and only sweet girl.
Yep 29 weeks... how crazy is that? Good feelings from appointment are semi squashed as I realized I gained 5lbs in one week... and I think at least 3-4 the previous... putting me already at 30lbs I'm lookin' a lil swollen all around, though since I started as a stick, it doesn't look awful, but something to wonder about. Come on kidneys.. work work work!

Lauren~ ya for having a good appointment. Also for making it to 29 weeks. Are you going to find out if it's a boy or girl?
Leigh~ what a cute name
Samantha~ how exciting a little boy. so glad that everything is looking so good.
So I'm 35 weeks now just 5 more to go. Tomorrow I have my babyshower. I never got one with Jamez. I'm a little emotional about it. I'm excited but nervous at the same time that I'm going to be thinking about how I should of had this with Jamez but didn't get to. I know that Jamez will be there with me and help me through it. I will post a blog about it after. Gabe put together the stroller and had the car seat out when I came home today on my luch break. Made me so happy to see it up and together. Oh I found a dress size 8 not even maternity that fits me and looks supper cute. I'm going to wear it for the Baby shower.

The baby shower was nice. There wasn't a lot of people but it was still nice. It was good and I did enjoy it. I can't belive that I have 4 weeks left.

Ok, I'm a little behind on my reading! Lauren, I hope your weight gain is all baby weight, no fluid retention or anything crazy! Your kidneys need to keep up the work! Ok, I was pretty sure you knew the sex of the baby and just aren't spilling the beans  No way I can hold in that kind of secret. Samantha, I'm so thrilled that you're having a boy, even though I thought it was a girl! I totally agree with Lauren, Trinity is perfectly happy being your only princess Laura, I am so glad that you had such a nice baby shower, I can't believe you are so close the full term and delivery, thanks for sharing this journey with us. Lauren Worried I won't be far behind BP was a little elevated.... top number was 141 I'm hoping at my next appointment it's not higher! We will start the orange jug club! Terrified to hear the words pre-e!!! Hope all works out and pre e stays far away.from us both!!!

I hope not Samantha. No one is to follow in my footsteps!  Hopefully it was just nerves waiting for the biopsy results... which were all good yes?! Unfortunately we're already officially riding the pre-e train... but our train seems to be stuck in 1st gear, which is a fabulous thing! Hopefully nothing knocks it outta first (and I don't think anything will) and puts us on a run away course.

Lauren my favorite gift I got would have to be the baby book. I started to right in it already. I also like the clothes we got. I was hopping for diapers and wipes but we didn't get many. I hope that you are doing alright and taking a easy.
Samantha sorry that you haven't been able to feel the flutters that you were before. I hope they came back soon for you.
So this morning my dad asked me how many days I had till my due date. I told him I didn't know I have 4 weeks. Well I got out the calander and counted the days. 24 days that is it. Where did the time go? I still thought I had a month. I am so happy that I have made it this far but knowing that I have just 24 days or less or more means I need to start getting things in order. Our bags are not even ready. Mine or Kai's. I am just so in love with feeling Kai move and having him safe inside me that I'm not all ready for him to come out. I want to see him but I have enjoyed this pregnancy so much I don't want it to end.
I hope everyone is having a nice relaxing memorial day and had a nice weekend.

Aw Samantha- sorry momma. One breathe, one step at a time right? I remember having a similar freak out with Micah's pregnancy when he was so small those flutters just weren't as reliable as I needed 'em to be. Hopefully lil' one picks up movement today and you find some reassurance and peace.
Laura- 24 days?! Egads! I totally hear you on wanting to stay pregnant... I really don't want this pregnancy to end either... It's such a special and limited time.
Just the other day we were saying how excited we were for Akeelah's birthday- we're spending it at a fancy hotel- then it dawned on me that if it's already her birthday that means this lil' one is getting evicted in like two weeks! Where has the time gone?!?!

Just a quick update. I'm so happy I made it to 37 weeks today!!  I just can't beleive that in a few weeks or days our baby can be born and will be healthy. It makes me so happy to know that the March of Dimes helped me get this far along with my doctors support and family and friends. I was on progestrogen pills my pregnancy and I do believe that they helped me get this far. Thank you all for being here to support me. HUGS Laura

Congrats on making it to 37 weeks!!! That is great!!
I am so glad that you have enjoyed this pregnancy and don't want it to end, that is fantastic. Samantha, I am in the exact same boat as you. I am about 4 weeks ahead of you (I think) so I feel the baby move around during the day, but definitely not consisently yet, like just a few periods of lots of movement throughout the day. I am sad a lot of the time, I don't think poor DH can't take the crying since so far we've had no bad news, just normal ultrasounds and check ups. But we had normal with Tucker up to this point, too..... Lauren, I hope your BP has been good lately, and I hope that your urine tests have shown normal or at least "normal" for you results! I am still very sad and anxious (see my last blog post), and I am 23 weeks today. I had to buy a maternity belt finally, my pain has been so bad. So the lady at the store was talking about how I needed to buy one size bigger because I had to have so much room to grow, and didn't I need nursing tops, etc.? So I just felt uneasy, especially since I hate clothes shopping to begin with!  It did feel great to put the belt on, hopefully it helps a lot so that I can keep up with Tucker on the evenings.

Hi Laura,
enjoy these last few weeks! and don't worry about not eating enough of this or that -- go with what tastes good to you at the time and sits well with you. I lost a lot of my appetite for healthy stuff in both rainbow pregnancies ... and instead of worrying, i just went with it.
