Wish you all lived closer could use a kick in the butt and some mommy down time. This whole this is nerve racking. I wish I could just believe that everything is okay! I wish I could believe this baby will be here and healthy. I wish I was still unaware of all the things that can go wrong...

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Samantha- You CAN believe those things momma. Don't get too far ahead of yourself- think about the now, and that right now things are just as they are supposed to be. Reframe knowing that things can go wrong... I see it as how lucky this baby is to be with a mommy that knows so much and is so watchful, who has a big sister always watching out and reminding his mommy with love, not fear, that the time we have with our lil' ones is precious and to appreciate it all.

I too wish I lived closer... well... that you lived closer to me! Huge hugs comin' your way momma!

The closer I get to 20 weeks I'm falling apart. I remember being so unaware that something was wrong with my sweet girl only to find out at 20weeks everything was unraveling. I feel lost right now, I'm suppose to be high risk but feel the drs aren't treating me as such. Like they don't understand the fear I face. I want so much to enjoy these moments, but finding it so hard as the fear keeps sneaking in. Hoping after my next u/s I will be able to have alittle peace. Thank you all for the love and support.

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

I hope your next u/s brings you peace as well- when will it be?

Sometimes I wonder if our angels always knew what their path was going to be, and perhaps on purpose didn't let us in on it so that we could most fully enjoy our time together.

    liams mommy - Jun 10, 2012 2:59 am (#254 Total: 611)

Samantha- I'm so sorry ur feeling so stressed right now...I second what lauren had to say and remember to trust ur instincts.....I know easier said than done though.

Leigh- Yay for the vbac and the mfm graduation!

Laura- girl you better get that bag packed I remember with bella I had it partially packed, and then when the big day arrived, my contractions hit soooo fast and furious I forgot everything else, including the camera! Thank God for my lovely sisterinlaw who went to get it for us.

lauren-I hope the bp is laying low....and all that extra fluid....can they do anything about that?

My appt went really well! We have decided to see only the Mfm....I never found another ob after what happened with Liam, and I never ever want to see any of the docs from my old practice!
The mfm was funny but serious and straightforward, he has a great plan for us and I believe is our best chance at delivering these babies healthy and safely.
15 weeks today we will start weekly cervical length checks next week, aswell as p17 shots. He wants to monitor my uterus beginning at 24 weeks, on a weekly basis for any signs of contractions, nst's weekly at 28, I think, and lots of ultrasounds to monitor their growth, fluid levels, etc. Whewwwwww.
He mentioned I should b prepared for bedrest at 24 weeks....and I'm completely fine with that....I would park my rear end in the hospital today if I knew it would keep these little ones safe. Sometimes I feel like a walking time bomb.

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Sooo glad you found someone you like! It makes all the difference in the world! Bring on the appointments! We've been almost weekly since the start of this pregnancy!

Jennifer- With Ake.elah we had an Amnio-reduction, where they remove fluid through amniocentesis... removed 2 liters!! But this time around it's so mild we'll cruise with it for now and I have to stop eating what baby craves... sugar!!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Laura- you can't stay quiet for too long now... you'll make us think Kai arrived!!

    javbmom - Jun 10, 2012 9:30 pm (#256 Total: 611)

    Laura~Jamez mom

Jennifer glad you found a great doctor and you have a good plan. That really helps.

Lauren glad you fluid level isn't to high hope it stays where its at and doesn't get any higher. I had it with Jamez but didn't know till 3 weeks before I had him when we found out about everthing else.

Kai is still cooking. I have my bag packed just need to get food together since I'm delivering at a birthing center you have to bring food. We have basicly everything all ready. Kai's bag is in the car already with all the stuff I need for delivery and the carseat is in. Just waiting 11 more days or any day. I kinda don't want to have him on the 13. I still feel good been having braxton hicks contractons for about a week now. My next appointment is tomorrow at 5:30. I will keep you all posted.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Hugs

    Laura...

I can not wait to hear the whole story of his entrance! Hope you and Kai are doing well.

Kai's arrival... and my stupid bp prompted me to actually wash some clothes for this lil' one. It was amazing to see Micah's old things... I can't believe they are ever that small!!

20.weeks today's the day in trinitys pregnancy we were told something was wrong. We were told wed need a miracle for her to live. The next 5 weeks were a roller coaster. Wish you all live.closer today!

    liams mommy - Jun 15, 2012 6:21 pm (#269 Total: 611)

Samantha- thinking of you today, i know how hard this is...and btw, i like your shirts

Lindsay- yes, Bella knows what's going on, and she's beyond excited! I was hesitant to tell her, b/c i knew how excited she would be and with all the bleeding we were having in the beginning, i didnt want to crush her spirit....but i also didnt' want anyone else to know before she knew. so we ended up telling her after our second ultrasound. It's so wonderful to see her talk to the babies, rub my belly, talk about what the names should be....her understanding is so much more than it was when we were pregnant with Liam.

I'm doing good, just getting so nervous! might be tmi, but i've been having discharge everyday since the bleeding has stopped. i went from pantyliner for the spotting to pantyliner for the discharge. I think i remember having this with Bella, but it's been soo long. I'm freaking out b/c yesterday i had some that was a bit more solid...it made me think mucous plug....i've called the doctor, and she seems to think it's just normal discharge. anyone else have this? it's pale yellow in color.
my first cervical length check is monday and it can't come fast enough!

    Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 16, 2012 3:46 am (#270 Total: 611)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Samantha- Hugs momma, passing those "D-day" milestones are tough- I'll be keeping you guys in my thoughts!

Jennifer- I don't think anything is TMI around here... especially when pregnant! We're the most poked and prodded people around! No shame, no shame! I also noticed a big change, which I remembered from our previous pregnancies, but just recently it seemed to take a big jump and I asked about it- sure enough BV, first ever. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

Still' cruisin' along here in the 140s/70s seemingly no matter what I do even with meds, but all labs holding steady and baby seems ok with the pressure, so go figure!

Hey everyone! Never thought I would find myself here again... Lol

I am only 6-7 weeks right now with twins. Expected due date is February 6th ish... Will hopefully get in with the specialist next week to confirm everything. We are still in shock over everything.

Off to catch up on everyone else!

In less than 24 hour I will walk into the same Dr office, same u/s room for the same 20 week anatomy scan that crushed our dreams 6 years ago. To say I'm nervous is an understatement. I wish I had one of my fellow angel moms to go with me. I almost just praying lil man is measuring good. Ohhh its gonna be a long day!

Mom to Tucker (27 weeker, 05/26/06)

    Samantha, GREAT news!!

Aimee, WOW!!! Congrats!!! Keep us all posted.

Lauren, sorry, I am confused. Aren't you just 31 weeks? You only have 3 weeks left? Sorry, I am not good with math!

I made it to 25 weeks, 4 days with perfect blood pressure, so I'm pretty excited, even though there are still almost 15 weeks left for things to change.

I went to the NP on Friday, I have been in the WORST pain lately. Lower abdomen and lower back....the maternity belt helped for a few days and then it didn't help anymore.

I was so hoping that I had a UTI or kidney infection or something, when the NP examined me I cried because it hurt so much.

She said my cervix is closed and I am not experiencing any labor or anything (which it didn't seem like I was, but still nice to know!), and all my labs came back normal. So it is just round ligament pains.....I have been having the pregnancy waddle since about 22 weeks, even though I've just gained 12 pounds total. I am just carrying this baby very low, and it is not comfortable. I know that every minute of it will be worth it when I get to meet Easton and hold him, so let's get to the end of September already!!

Leigh- It's just never good when you're hoping for a UTI or kidney infection! Ouch momma! I hope baby finds a more comfortable position... cause man... OUCH! Yay for awesome BP!

Samantha- So thankful to hear you are and baby are looking good! It's like you got someone watchin out for you or something.

We're 34 weeks tomorrow... which puts us in steroid free territory! Woot Woot!
