Not going to repost my whole blog over but overall
The U/S tech said she could see a heartbeat!
(I however could not but she is the professional, and their machine isnt the most up to date machine out there)
Will have another on in two weeks!!!

Think the reality that I am preggo is sinking in now, well that and since hitting 6 weeks the morning sickness is kicked in a little more. I didnt sleep well last night and the bloodlab called me at 6:30 am to tell me they missed a test last week. 6:30am are you kidding was up most of the night sick to my stomach or peeing, finally feel asleep and stayed asleep at like 4am just to be woke up at 6:30am on phone call that probably could have waited till at least 8am! Ugh so I may have to go back to the blood lab for another test, I also found out they screwed up my HCG test and now have to wait to have those test result untill they rerun those tests. Ugh, how hard is it to read those sheets, each box was clearly checked, I probably wouldnt mind if I didnt have to wait over 2 hours the first time.
And the fun begins!

|
|
Sam, Yay for the heartbeat and ultrasound!!! Laura, thanks for posting pics!! Cute belly!! Lauren, so sorry that you're feeling sad that you're "halfway" through your last pregnancy. DH has said several times that this is our last, lol, we just aren't doing so well, but we are both from big families and we certainly do love babies About the flex time-yes, my job is fantastic about that....most of my job can be done online through email and spreadsheets....they are great about when I have to take off time for Tucker's appointments....the issue is that so far, I barely have the energy to get through half of the day. So if I leave early for an appointment, there is just no way that I'm getting on the computer at home to catch up on anything. So I have to take the sick time, it just isn't fair not to. Like with the asthma, I barely got out of bed all Friday and Monday, so I took the full days. I am working a few Saturdays coming up for outreach events (I work for a science grant), so if I'm sick during those weeks I won't have to take sick time. I hope you are all doing well! Leigh

and the shoe drops, Drs just called numbers arent doing what there suppose to be doing I go back in tomorrow morning for another round of bloodwork, praying this is all a mistake since the lab screwed up a few things and the blood sample sat for 6 days before the test was run, trying to hold onto hope but slowly losing it!

only when your pregnant do you eat something just so when you do get sick there is something there! Ugh! Tonight has been the worst night yet.
Also started the progesterone yesterday and its been so much fun! (not really)
But if this is what it take to get a healthy, full term baby I will do it!!!
hope this morning sickness that seems to only happen at night goes away soon and I can really enjoy this pregnancy!
Samantha

Sam- so glad to hear that you are on the progetrogone. Are you doing the pill form kind? I'm on that and it's not fun but like you said if it will get me full term I will do it. I hope that the morning sickness slowes down. I agree with Lauren it sounds awful. I have my next appointment on the 21. It's my last appointment with my doctor. She has been such a great doctor. I don't want to say bye to her but we are moving 3 hours away. She's delivered Jamez so she knows our story and us. I really wanted her to deliver Kai. She really has done everything to make me feel comfortable with this pregnancy and she is such a sweet doctor I will miss her. I have to set up a appoitment with a new doctor that I don't know. My sister had her and she said she is a great doctor. So hopefully I will get to be seen by her. It's just so scary to have to change doctors in the middle of pregnancy and have to tell the new doctor your story. Well I'm not in the middle anymore more close to the end of my pregnancy. Hope everyone has a great week! HUGS Laura

Laura- I hear you, our MFM moved out of state, and he has been our rock through all our pregnancies, I'm still having a very difficult time accepting he'll no longer be watching out for us. I hope your new doctor is compassionate to your history and someone you feel comfortable with.

Oh Samantha, were you actually dehydrated? Your dr should prescribe Zofran pills, for most women they are a wonder drug...not me, unfortunately, but they have helped me.
So I am starting to get excited to find out the sex of the baby, we have more than a month to wait, we go for an U/S with MFM at the end of April. Yesterday my cousin found out that he is having a boy, so my sister said that means I get the girl, lol. Tucker wants a "sistah". We ask him all kinds of ways, asking him "do you want a sister or brother?" sista! "Do you want a brother or sister?" sista! because sometimes he just repeats the last option you give him instead of really answering. I'd like to see the baby bigger on the U/S, I can't believe that at 12 weeks the baby only weighs an ounce or so, that is so tiny!

Just a quick update on my doctor visit. It went well. I was sad but I kept it together. I will really miss her. I hope that my new doctor is just a great of a doctor as she has been for me. The best news I got was that I am off lovenox and I'm on baby asprin. My blood levels were so good that I don't have to be on it anymore. I am so happy no more shots!!! Everything still is looking good. The doctor also said that I am starting to get less and less of being highrisk. Makes me feel good that things are going so great! I hope that things continue to stay great. Sam- I hope that the medicine helps. Hope everyone is doing well!

had my ultrasound at the local womens center, their machine is not very "Techy" but I was able to see the heart beat. Heart rate was 172bmp! what a relief to see that little heart beating away tucked safe inside! Ohh I feel like I can breath a little, I also have another u/s with my dr tomorrow hoping to hear that little heart beat and get some good pictures, since todays pictures wern't very clear. The tech today said Id be due 11/02 but we should have a more firm due date tomorrow. Ohh think Im gonna get a nap, didnt sleep to well last night.

Samantha~ glad you were able to see the heartbeat. =) Still praying for everyone for a full 37-40 week pregnancy! Just a quick update. I'm now 28 weeks today! Still no contractions I catch myself pushing on my belly when Kai stretches to make sure that it's not a contraction. I am feeling really good. 12 weeks seems so close and I am not ready yet to have him. I love feeling his kicks and him move. Hope everyone is doing great! Laura
