Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Liz: I had considered approaching businesses, but I wouldn't even know where to start! I know my DH had issues with getting sponsorship for one of his big fundraisers over in Guam, everyone is having hard times! Cool! Whatcha doing at the mall for a fundraiser? Hugs!

Tracy: Well, now, he is a total stud now that he got a big boy haircut this weekend! Pickin' up all the ladies! Ewww.....the joys of sleepovers, I got those once after one, thank goodness my hair is thin and fine or it'd have taken forever to clean me up!

Jessica: Boo on the strictness of it!! Sounds like this year might be better though! Our place was pretty cool......free, and they provided the stage for the instructors as well as a DJ and screen to show the video! Oh and, OMG OMG OMG!!!! Congrats!! Good luck at your doctor's appointment!

Ok, busy day, first gymboree for Elim then Mardel, Old Navy and the grocery store! Now getting caught up on Share and emails, I'm so behind after last week!

Donna S - Mar 26, 2012 11:29 pm (#191 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Tracy - Ew. Poor girl, and you.

Katie - Miss you!!!!

Stacy - That boy is a cute-patootie no matter what.

Starting to work on our poker tournament. It's on Cinco de Mayo this year, so of course, going with the theme. I'm panicking already though, and we have almost six weeks to pull it together. SCARED! The plan is to put together a new video, but since when Ryley was born, digital cameras were super new, most of his pictures are from 35mm and I have to individually scan them, or take the time to find the negatives and take those to the camera shop to have them put on a disc.

lvazquez - Mar 27, 2012 1:15 am (#192 Total: 253)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Donna: Sounds like it was great party! No, it's not wrong to need/want coffee in the afternoon. Sometimes a gal just needs a li'l caffeine:) Great idea to have poker on Cinco de Mayo. Yummy, I can already taste those margaritas.

Tracy: Sorry about those pesky unwanted guests. I would be freaking out! At least she had a good time.

Stacy: Oh, was it Elim's first haircut? How did he do?

Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 27, 2012 5:44 pm (#193 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

April cafe names..... can't believe it's almost April!

Donna- It's gonna rock! I think next year I'd like to do some time of host thing... not sure what yet.

Stacy- That is awesome! I hope you post all about how you organized it all!

Tracy- Ewwwwy. That stinks! Reframe... everything in your house will be so freshly washed?

Still kinda windy... beach might be out today.

liz loschinskey - Mar 27, 2012 6:30 pm (#194 Total: 253)

I love my kids!

Morning...Afternoon ladies,

When I think April, I think, April showers bring May flowers!!

4 months in, can't back out now!!

Tori hasn't had a bottle in 22 days. She hasn't taken a nap in 22 days. Her hair looks like a dang cockatoo today. I've finally broken down to make her an appointment at CHP for Gastroenterology. Just another big FAIL in the book of motherhood, for me.

Tracy, Yikes!!! on the lice.

Lindsay, I wish I took advantage of the daycare at the Y more often.

Donna, I've definately had coffee in the afternoon before. Embrace the Poker Tournament, don't be scared!!

Stacy, how was the trip? How's Elim feeling? Haircut!? Such a big boy!!

Lauren, boo on the wind. I'm still jealous...it's 40 degree's out. How it goes from 85down to 40 in under a week amazes me.

bbl...

Donna S - Mar 27, 2012 6:57 pm (#195 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Michael and I were just commenting last night how a quarter of the year is almost gone already. Our "Winter" is about to start. Honestly, April, May and June are typically our ugliest, coldest, foggiest months.

Lauren - Boo hiss on no beach.

I now the poker tournament will come together. I don't know why I'm feeling so much pressure. This is our seventh year. You'd think I'd have it so don't I wouldn't stress at all. But we've had a rough few years with it, and I really want to come out swinging this year. Brain was going full force last night and I think I have a good idea for our new video. Fingers crossed!

liz loschinskey - Mar 27, 2012 7:28 pm (#196 Total: 253)

I love my kids!

fingers crossed

Donna S - Mar 27, 2012 7:45 pm (#197 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Thanks, Liz. That is quite the weather change for you guys. Brrrrrr

Angel Love - Mar 28, 2012 12:26 am (#198 Total: 253)

Katie~ Thanks for saying that about the lice.....I'm glad someone else felt the same way! The sad part is I know it's not any of our faults, but seriously I feel like EPIC FAIL!!

Hopefully they're gone now!!!! I've picked at that poor child's hair endlessly for 2 days now!

Lauren~ Great reframe!! The sheets and bedding smelled wonderful last night after such a long day!

Donna~ You'll do great with the video and poker preparations!! You always do! Remember...that poker tourny is what brought me to Share!!

Liz~ I laughed out loud (and I'm all by myself) at the cockatoo comment!! Only because my own hair looks like that in the mornings!!

One day down....3 more to go and then I'm going to enjoy my time off!!! (Be prepared....I'm sure it'll be rainy and cold the whole week off, but at least I don't have to get my tail outta bed!!!)

Oh yeah....April Cafe'........

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Liz- OMG she already has given up her nap? My condolences. You're sooo not parenting fail material... the parent today that I saw with their kid in the car with no seatbelt climbing everywhere while driving... that's fail.

Tracy- You too... no epic fail parenting there even though it might feel like it.

Donna- Ooooh can't wait to see it. I think we're gonna re-do our video next year. That'd be a great Share in the M4B folder...

Tooooootally procrastinating about 10 different things... and eating jelly beans right from the jar... grabbing handfuls each time I walked by just was not cutting it.

    Arnara - Mar 28, 2012 1:31 am (#200 Total: 253)

    You girls have been chatty....

Tracy: Why you should chaperone 3rd and 5th graders ??? As I recall boys usually avoid girls at this age.... lice, I read it last night and I dreamt about it.... how awful..... hope you get rid of it.....

Lindsay: So you are preparing for the hot months..... great to have a pool..... Every night I wonder what to do for dinner, since I cook lunch and dinner..... I wish my family would just grab a sandwich but food is a real issue....

Stacy: Congratulations on your fundraising activity, seems like you are moving....

Donna: You never stop! Happy Belated Birthday to Ethan, hope he enjoyed it so much... Cinco de Mayo, mexican food, wooh that is wonderful idea, seems like CA is similar, May, June and July are rainy foggy months here......

Liz: don't give up..... I am sure you are going to do it this Sunday at the mall

KAtie: Go girl, seems like you are enjoying the gym, and great you have a great tan.... that tan room must be great!

Lauren: Hiking ??? in my mind is like climbing from ropes and pulling yourself up with the stones..... I laughed about your comment of the mother and the park..... probably the habit of telling the kids to stop running around, probably a thing I would do...... So what book you picked up at the garage sale??? and that new restaurant, I imagine it of Hawaian food???

Nothing here, just working with S HW, last Friday I had 6 kids at my home, I didn't know they were invited until a mom called me that Friday morning to thank me to "invite the kids over"..... I don't know these crazy parents, so eager to someone else take they kids, I would have never left S go to another house if the other mom did not call me first..... well they were here to work for a class project, and as usual I ended sitting the kids working with them, doing the posters and looking for information, but they had a great time (I did, listening to their talk and watching S with his peers) and I was exhausted. We had a very busy WE, social appointments (baby shower, lunch, a party at night big hotel) and Sunday I had some friends over for lunch and BBQ..... yesterday I was so tired I went to bed at 8 pm......

We finally moved out miss V crib, now she is a big girl in a big girl's bed and she totally loved it.... in fact these past few days she went alone to bed ..... and she repeats constantly how much she loves her new bed......I have to confess I dropped some tears, thinking there are no babies in my house, and there will not be, I feel my house like an empty nest......

Well, I go now, to prepare dinner......

    Good night everyone

    Lorena

    Arnara - Mar 28, 2012 1:33 am (#201 Total: 253)

Liz: I agree with Lauren, you are a great mother...... besides this is not a competition, some kids take longer than others to arrive to their milestones...... hugs

    Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 28, 2012 1:44 am (#202 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Oy vey Lorena- 6 kids?! Egads! That sounds like a zoo. Congrats to Miss V! I can't believe how fast she's growing up! The hiking was WAY more mild... just a lil' gander through a lil' forest. The book is The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, it's about a woman whose cells were taken after she passed away without her consent and they were the first to regenerate and have been instrumental in almost all human science since, including the Polio Vaccine. It's ridiculously interesting. I can't wait to read more of it!

Bringing the jar of jelly beans with me... bad idea ladies. Bad idea.

    Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 28, 2012 2:17 am (#203 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Oooh and ladies... thought of all of you today... as if I don't every day but this was different.

In two weeks I have a dentist appt. at 9am and a cervical check at 10:15am.... oh yes I do.

    KHolley - Mar 28, 2012 1:37 pm (#204 Total: 253)

Tracy-It has been about 2 months since we dealt with it and I still check her head every morning and spray it with hairspray!

Lauren-Ohh, both on the same day!!!!!!!!!!!

Lorena-Congrats on moving Miss V to a big girl bed!!!!

I am on Spring Break next week!!! Woohoo!! Alex is this week so I get a week to myself! I think I might catch up on my napping!!!!

    liz loschinskey - Mar 28, 2012 1:53 pm (#205 Total: 253)

    I love my kids!

Shannon if you check in today-I'm thinking of you and praying for complete stickiness!

It is so creepily stormy outside looks like a tornado can touch down at any given moment. Skeery!

    bbl...

    Donna S - Mar 28, 2012 2:59 pm (#206 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Lauren - I'm actually giggling that you have the dentist and cervical check on the same day. Double-whammy!!! Jelly beans - YUM! I have that book on my stack. Have heard such good things about it. Trying to forge my way through Les Miserables at the moment.

Liz - cockatoo hair - lol

Tracy - Rainy and cold is fine since you don't *have* to go anywhere. I like Hoppy Easter Cafe. Cute.

Lorena - How did you end up with all those kids at your house? Congratulations to Miss V on the move to the big girl bed.

Video is done. I think I need a couple of tweaks this morning. Is 9.5 minutes too long? Grrrrrrrrrr

    Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 28, 2012 3:47 pm (#207 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Katie- Ooooh different spring breaks.... excellent!

Liz- Eeks that does sounds scary! Be safe out there.. better yet... stay inside!

Donna- Can't wait to see it! I put a spot to post videos in the M4B spot... thanks for posting the t-shirts too!

Not going to get too woo hoo until it actually happens, but talked to my "old" MFM yesterday... hopefully we'll get to have coffee later today! Made him promise not to eat anything given to him by anyone!

    Ally_Alex_Alivia's_mom - Mar 28, 2012 9:28 pm (#208 Total: 253)

Hope every one is doing well. I really need to be getting ready to go to a meeting, but the house is quite (girls are at dance) and its the first chance I have had to sit down at the computer in a couple of days. Thought you ladies could appreciate my story from this morning....
I was running behind as usual and trying to get the kids out the door and in the truck (I drive a four door truck). I layed my phone on the edge of the bed as I put Alivia in and buckled her and then left it there as I got in and drove out the drive way. Needless to say I happened to see it fly off in my mirror as I was driving down the road and realized what I had done. I live on a very busy state highway. Somehow I managed to find all five pieces of it that were scattered in the side ditch and put it back together. Apparently it was my lucky day cause it still works (knock on wood), with the exception of a little road rash

    liz loschinskey - Mar 29, 2012 2:00 am (#209 Total: 253)

    I love my kids!

Yikes!!!!! On the phone. Nice save!

    stacyat - Mar 29, 2012 2:12 am (#210 Total: 253)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lindsay: He did fabulous! No tears or annoyance from him at all! He just sat there and kept stealing her combs, lol!

Liz: Trip was great! Visited Grandma's old house, and also the grandparents' graves and a few other side trips.

Lorena: Awww!! Miss V is getting to be such a big girl! Glad that the transition to a bed went well!

Lauren: HAHA!! Do we have a woohoo yet?

Chris: Wow! That's some luck for sure! I'm impressed that it's still in working order, lol!

Bleh, where's the cleaning fairy again? Who is hiding her in their closet, because I want her!!

    Ally_Alex_Alivia's_mom - Mar 29, 2012 2:43 am (#211 Total: 253)

Stacy - Ha, I'll clean if you'll do the laundry Hence why I'm still up at this hour. It seems to multiply by the minute around here!!

    Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 29, 2012 3:40 am (#212 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Whoo hoo Lauren!!! ps...always thinking of you guys to. Sad isnt it...but every night when I watch the weather I think of who I know in that state....love you girls xoox

Stacy...you have got to be exhausted. You need a break. 27 sickie days are never good.

ok...so today is a procrastinating day. I've been sick with a cold for the past 4...hate colds....and of course cant take anything for it. I finally showered today I know gross....I was so sick the other day I couldnt even get out of bed to take Maddie to school so she got a day off ...she loved it. Me of course...wasnt such a great idea. Just meant no nap for me

    liz loschinskey - Mar 29, 2012 6:18 pm (#214 Total: 253)

    I love my kids!

Why did I think gift card's expired?! Good for you, Lauren!!

Jessica, so sorry you don't feel good. How's the house situation?

Today is a blah day....I'm so unmotivated I don't want to go to class.

    liz loschinskey - Mar 29, 2012 6:24 pm (#215 Total: 253)

    I love my kids!

ps-I got Tori a chunky wood piece puzzle of the USA. When we learn states, I think of you great ladies. Each piece is a state...it's AWESOME!!

    She calls Hawaii.....Hawa-eee-eee.

    Hehehe....

    stacyat - Mar 29, 2012 8:47 pm (#216 Total: 253)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Chris: You wouldn't be saying that if you saw my laundry mountain this weekend! It was out of control! In my defense, I was gone for the entire week before!

Lauren: So tell me, what kinda looks did ya get walking into Victoria's secret with your baby belly?

Jessica: Ugh, being sick by itself is miserable, let alone not being able to take anything for it! Hugs! I hope you feel better soon!

    Liz: Adorable!!

So we went to music class today at gymboree, kinda useless as Elim just wanted to go bang on the glass doors where he could see the big kids were. He'd much rather be hanging out with them! Then went to target, and left Elim's mac 'n cheese there!! So no mac 'n cheese for lunch, I had to scrounge around. Of course, it's the one that's way far away so I'm not going back today. She said I could pick it up tomorrow though, so I'm gonna go to music class for older kids tomorrow so it's not a totally wasted trip.

    Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 29, 2012 8:56 pm (#217 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Jessica- Sorry you're not feeling well! Booo on missing a nap!

Stacy- That is some special Mac n Cheese! We were thinkin' the Gymboree type classes for next session, but I think we'll stick with music. No strange looks... they were so busy I don't think anyone noticed!

Liz- Aww that's so cute. I hear ya on the low motivation.

Going to attempt to wade through my to do list.

    Donna S - Mar 29, 2012 9:20 pm (#218 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

    Jessica - Grrrrrrr. Feel better!

Lauren - Yeah, what looks did you get in Vickie's? Good luck with that to-do list.

Stacy - I can just see him banging on the glass to get to the older kids having more fun. Bummer on the mac n cheese though.

Liz - Feeling that pain today too.

Somehow got through 40 minutes on the elliptical, a March for Babies meeting, Costco, Target, and the unload. So tired. I hate PMS. Takes everything out of me, leaving only mean, yelling, b***chy mommy behind. Thankful we're going out to dinner tonight (epilepsy fundraiser a friend is holding). I'm toast.

    Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 29, 2012 9:43 pm (#219 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Sheeeesh Donna! You just packed like four of my days in one! You're a rock star! Just a Racerback bra... nothin' too fancy just a needed item.... can't see my underwear these days so no sense to fancy that up... as long as the old ones aren't on backwards I figure I'm having a good day and they must look great.
