Jessica: that sounds like fun...... I like to cook meatballs..... hope you enjoy the visit.....

Lauren: Glad you had a nice trip and sunny..... and that your appointments were ok, I can picture you in my mind, traveling in plane, like that movie, the descendants......really you travel a lot on planes???

Shannon: so sorry that your guest were so rude and not coming, I read your blog.....all the preparations, though I hope you raise the money....at least they called to apologize???

Tracy: ugh riding in someone else car with their kids is no fun..... hope you could get your nap......great about that pedi, I urgently need one.....

So I should be studying with Stefano, he read on his own then told me to ask him, and he knew all the answers so we are "resting" that kid marvel me with his wonderful memory, hope he remembers in the test...... I am lazy..... I am bored in has been a boring long weekend.....I am super excited for my decoration class, we have to find different textiles and colors for decorating 3 different areas, we chose the colors and the fabrics, is like a palette and I am thinking my areas....... and I have been thinking to re decorate my patio area and garden and my family tv room, I am in love with blue, amazing all you can do with that color..... I was more like traditional neutral colors .... ok I go now......

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Shannon- Shame on those folks who didn't come to the party! I wanted to go!!

Tracy- Oooh yeah... one less hour of sleep... that stinks... so do boys on trips they don't want to be on sounds like!

Lorena- This month yeah... I will have been on Oahu 1x each week for the past 3 weeks... then one off then back to Oahu again! So sorry about Miss V's lil' noggin' poor thing!

Lindsay- Hope tomorrow goes well... keep him up tonight if ya have to!

Lance and I teamed up and cleaned out the entire fridge... top to bottom... k and Micah helped too. Looks show room! Now to get some food to fill it up with!

stacyat - Mar 12, 2012 2:16 am (#81 Total: 253)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lorena: We went to see Wanderlust, it was pretty funny but there were quite a bit of nudity in it, one of the guys was a nudist.

Shannon: UGH!! That's just crappy of them to RSVP yes and then not show up! Totally disrespectful. I'd probably think about being snotty (because I know I'd never actually do it) and send out thank you cards to everyone that RSVP'd yes to say thank you for making the party such a success by their presence.

Dawn: We most definitely are! Charles will hopefully be back from deployment by then so it'll be a nice welcome back trip for us. I've got some family and friends out in Tampa too so we'll of course have to visit them.

Lindsay: Yay road trip! Hope that your meeting tomorrow goes well and that he shows all of his behaviors.

Lauren: Yay good appointments! Guess the no whammies worked? I did that a couple of weeks ago, it's a mess again, lol.

Elim is finally fever free! The antibiotics are eating at his stomach I think but at least they're attacking the ear infection!

Off to eat my girl scout cupcake mmmm....

liz loschinskey - Mar 12, 2012 1:41 pm (#82 Total: 253)

I love my kids!

Hi chicks.

Fun, fun weekend. Yesterday spent the whole day with Tori. Mommy/Tori time. It was WONDERFUL. Until she puked last night. Again, I felt like, everything I worked so hard for all day filling her up with fat filled foods....totally destroyed by the most obnoxious/loud burp followed by puke all over daddy's recliner.

Some lady at the mall called me a grandma yesterday. jcpenny's looking for Easter dresses....We are at the register with sunglasses and she looks at Tori and says..."Did you and grandma find a pretty dress today?" She was a definite grandma. Ithought to myself...Do I look like an effin grandma? My birthday is in 5 days, will I go from 35 to 65 overnight? Is my hair really that gray? Am I frumpy? Then a whole nother plura of emotions hit me in the car...I'm so fat, that's why she thought I was a gma, my clothes look like gma clothes, i have no make up on, i look like a gma, I have diabetes(I don't) like my gma, omg I'm going to die a young gma from being fat with diabetes, .......I will stop there because it only got worse.

A half hour into my berating, I look inthe rearview at Tori dancing to lady gaga "born this way" and everything was fine. I've never heard this song before, but listened to the words and felt so much better, because let's face it, I was born this way and I'm ok.

Lauren, glad your mini vaca and appointments went well.
Tracy, sorry about your little boy/mall experience.
Lindsay, how'd your inhome go today?
Stacy, YaY for no fever!!
Jessica, Fried meatballs sounds so good...yum!
Lorena, how was your test?

Sugar snaps, I can't remember anything else.

bbl...

Donna S - Mar 12, 2012 3:13 pm (#83 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Can't.....catch......up......That'll teach me to go missing for a few days!

Shannon - People didn't show up for your party? That stinks. So rude.

Stacy - Yay for fever-free!!!

Tracy- Taking boys anywhere..ugh. Good job on the walking!

Lorena - Good luck with testing week. I'll be thinking of you and S. Oh, we took the kids to their favorite Italian restaurant (Bruno's) to celebrate their report cards.

Liz - Hugs. You don't look like a grandma. And I love that song! Hope Tori is feeling better.

Jessica - Fried meatballs? Will you share that recipe, please?

Oy - Busy weekend, somewhat. Grace's basketball team lost by one point Saturday morning, but the last four minutes were so exciting! Ryley's baseball team won their first game 9-6 and for you non-fb'ers, HE HIT AN INSIDE THE PARK HOME RUN!!!!!! I'm still beaming with pride. He had such a good game. And then, crash, he woke up yesterday with an awful fever and headache. He was totally down all day. Fever broke during the night last night, but I have him home from school today just to be safe. He says he still has a bit of a headache. I did get to go shopping yesterday afternoon to get ready for our New Orleans trip this weekend. Yippee!!!

Angel Love - Mar 12, 2012 7:41 pm (#84 Total: 253)

Liz~ Really?? Gma???? Not hardly! If you look like a gma...what do I look like???

Donna~ Yay for R's great game!! (and thanks for thinking of us non-FBer's!!)

Today started off beautiful and the temps were great too.....then a nasty drizzle moved in. Not at all pleased with that! Messed up my walking schedule.

I tried doing a dvd that I just bought and thought I was dying. I will take breaks through a dvd if needed, but never turn them off, but this one.....I had to turn it off----I'll try again tomorrow.

lvazquez - Mar 12, 2012 8:45 pm (#85 Total: 253)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Tracy - Sorry for that long car trip with two roudy boys. We're so doing that tomorrow too, but I am used to it:) I hope that you were able to catch up on some much needed z's.

Donna - Congrats to R on the homerun! That's awesome!!!

Liz- No, you don't look like a grandma. I can't believe that lady said that! I'm glad that song came on when it did. Must have been really cute to see her grooving to the music:) I'm sorry that T got sick. Did you Febreeze the recliner? Always looking for more products to get out the nastiness.

Lauren - I'm so glad that your appointments have been uneventful. Are you racking up more frequent flyer miles?

Erin - Your girls are so cute! Looks like you are having a good time on the beach:)

Lorena - Glad to hear that S's studies are going well. I'm sorry for Miss V's bump on her forehead. Your decorating class sounds like it's coming along. I love hues of blues too - reminds me of Greek isles or Provence . . .

Okay, home visit today was just for DDD, not ALTCS. Huh? Our support coordinator didn't really explain well. So, anyway this one was no biggie and went well. Tristyn came out so say hello and then just kept running back and forth. So, I called over to ALTCS and we did a phone interview to cover the financial eligibility part. I'll get more paperwork soon and then finally, we schedule the home visit. Seriously, he'll be lucky if we can even start services by June. I'm so glad that we start Jumpstart tomorrow so that I can at least start there and connect with some other parents. There is a organization called Kids With Autism Can and there are free activities for families with kids on the spectrum. Hoping to connect with even more families ooon.

Donna S - Mar 12, 2012 9:58 pm (#86 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Tracy - Bummer on not getting your walk in. And at least you tried with the video.

Lindsay - Hrrrmmmmm......communication from coordinators is key. It is SUCH a long process.

stacyat - Mar 12, 2012 10:13 pm (#87 Total: 253)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Liz: I've got no idea what she was talking about because you didn't even look close to being grandma age to me when I saw you!

Donna: WOOHOO RYLEY!!! That's awesome! I hope he feels better soon, poor guy.

Tracy: Boo on the cold drizzle! Hopefully our nice weather will make it's way to you in the next day or so.

Lindsay: Glad that the visit went well! Ugh, always the hurry up and wait to get things.

Spoke too soon, Elim's fever is back, dangit! We go in on Wednesday unless it disappears between now and then. Could go in tomorrow but I want him seen by his doctor so we can make a plan instead of the other doctor. She's nice and all, just not his. He's also a little more cuddly today in between being irritable.

Donna S - Mar 12, 2012 10:19 pm (#88 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Stacy - Poor baby. He's not catching a break these days, is he? I'd rather see our doctor too when we have something going on. Wishing you both fever-free days.

Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 12, 2012 11:06 pm (#89 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Stacy- Egads! Poor lil' dude!

Lindsay- Urgh, nothin' like getting all prepped for one kind of meeting only to find it's another!

Donna- What a proud mommy moment! Go R!! He must have been on cloud 9 too!

Liz- That woman needs glasses.

Tracy- Reframe... drizzle makes for good nap weather?

Big news around here... Micah went doo doo in the potty all by himself! We were cruisin' doin' our own things and he came to tell me he made doo doo and sure enough he did! Big dude!

Donna S - Mar 12, 2012 11:47 pm (#90 Total: 253)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Lauren - Doing the happy doo doo in the potty dance for ya!! That's so huge! Yay Micah!!

Yeah, Ryley is still coming down from that high in spite of the fact he was totally sick yesterday. That darned random fever came back yesterday. Stuck at 101 +/- all day long, with ibuprofen. He's fine today but geez.

Akeelah's Mommy - Mar 12, 2012 11:55 pm (#91 Total: 253)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Aw man, that stinks! Poor kiddo! Glad it's not dampening his mood or joy though!

Lauren-That's awesome, go Micah!!!!

Liz-Ummm.grandma, not so much!

Lindsay-I hope that they are able to get their communication together!

Donna-Go Ryley!!!!

I am just flying by, super busy right now. It is the end of the quarter, so I am the most important person at the school right now, as I pull all the missing work for kids to get it done! I saw over 60 kids today and am booked for the rest of the week with students!

mrsmaxson - Mar 13, 2012 12:14 am (#93 Total: 253)

Heartbroken

Liz - I'm thinking that grandma who called you grandma 1) is so old she can't see 2) may possibly be senile and 3) might need to be slapped. That is all.

Donna - That's so awesome about Ryley's home run. I imagine any momma would be proud, but after all you've been through, it's extra special. I hope he's feeling better.

Lauren - Congrats on your "big" little boy! It must be bitter sweet seeing him grow so quickly.

Lindsay - I don't know how you keep all the acronyms straight! You do such a great job making all of the connections you need to make with other families and services. Your sons are lucky to have such an ambitious mom!

Stacy - What in the world?! I wish Elim would get better and stay better. You must be so stressed out!

Tracy - I hope spring sunshine finds you soon. It's been warm here. Sunny yesterday. I am LOVING the over 60 weather. Can't wait to get into the garden, but that's still a ways off.

I sent messages to all of the no-shows saying we missed them and I'd saved a card kit for them. I really hope that they at least make a contribution because the prep work for the cards alone was a ton of work! I'm about done with this because I have to start prepping for the yard sale in April. It's on the same day as the first meeting for the community garden that I belong to, so I hope I can get someone to sit at the sale while I go to the meeting. It's the first one of the season, so I feel like I should be there. I don't understand how I'm still so busy!

Katie - Oy!! Miss ya! Oh, expect a text from Cafe du Monde Friday or Saturday.

Note to self....don't attempt to make french bread and chili while trying to get two kids two different places and deal with a gusher of a nosebleed in the youngest kid. YIKES!!

Donna-You better eat a beignet for me!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so jealous!

Shannon: I had to LOL about slapping that poor crazy gradma.... Great that you send the notes, hope they give their contributions and more for not coming, I should have say to them that since they didn't show the contribution is higher as penalty.......

Liz: ugh I hate those silly comments...... once a stupid mom in school asked if my DH cousin (who is almost my age) was my daughter......... because we look alike (not in any single way).......

ok I"m so mad right now!!! How in the heck can he pick Courtney? Cannot stand her. Shes a crazy girl. Any minute she'll pull a rabbit out of a pot like the nut she is....he'll see his misake.

Katie you must be shot. Talking to 60 kids gotta be draining.

Donna your kids are awesome with all their sports. Wish I could get Maddie involved.

Tracy how is Ansley doing with tennis?

Lorena - hug girlie...hate when moms give you that look as if an accident never ever happened to their kids...cant stand the judgement.

Hey all,
Been gone way to long, note to self.... don't do that

Stacy--Poor Elim, hope he feels better soon

Lauren, Yay for Micah.. Wish Matthew would try the potty. We ask him and he says NO with straightest face.

Well all crazy weekend. I worked all day Saturday and then we had a Sweet 16 dinner that night. Sunday Emily had a cheer competition. They came in 4th out of 7. I felt bad for them, they were sad. I am proud of them but part of me feels bad also because some of the other teams brought kids down to Emilys level from higher teams which shouldnt be done. But what can you do.
Matthew got pink eye yesterday and today started ith a fever. Gotta love it. Never a dull moment. Emily had parent teacher conferences tonight. She did well but they said she does talk, oh well I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...lol

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: Aww, he cannot possibly be old enough to be potty training already!! Remember telling me that if I taught Elim the sign for milk what he'd look like he's doing? Yep....totally walking around milking a cow all day. Has me all paranoid my milk has dried up he's asking for it so often!

Katie: Wow!! That's a ton of kids in one day!!

Shannon: Yep, that pretty much explains it. When the nurse called all I could say is that I'm just frustrated, he's been sick on and off for so long. Good for you! I hope they contribute something. Oooh, that sounds fun! What do you do at a community garden? Is it flowers or food? I remember you love flowers!

Tracy: Yup, I'm watching, we've been recording it and watching it at ladies night on Tuesday. She is one crazy lady!

Lorena: I don't think it's the medicine, I just think he's one of those kids that the medicine doesn't work for! It's only his right ear too, his left has been fine through all these infections. I'll be asking for a referral to the ENT when I see her on Wednesday. Sounds like S is on his studying, way to go! Elim's constantly getting bruises now too with him toddling all over.

Thanks to all of you, I've been asked to speak at the first team captain workshop! They're going to play my video and also want me to talk about all the fundraising ideas I've got, which has mostly come from everyone at SU!

I love my kids!

Holy hamburgers!!! How do I get so backed up?

Lindsay, glad to hear on the inhome.
Katie-yikes on 60 kids!
Stacy-Awesome on the M4B talk!
Lorena-Tell those staring mother's to mind their own!
Donna, I'd be one proud Mamma!!! Go Ryley!
Geri-Yuck on the pink eye and you always have next year for Cheer!
Shannon, sorry your card party was a bust, I know how hard you worked. As for slapping the lady, I was taught to respect my elders, so I walked away. Even tho, I was really wanting to pick up the credit card machine and throw it at her head. And I would hate to have to explain that to Tori...-still mumbling profanities about that woman-

Mike had Tori all day yesterday....I actually went shopping yesterday and WAS ABLE to try on clothes and not just buy them and hope that they fit. With that, the jeans I bought...a)were a size smaller than normal and b) I swear they lifted...they did something to make my butt somewhat normal. I got them on sale 20 bucks at Marshall's. CalvinKlein...I'm tickled. At Kohl's, while looking at bra's, I see a pair of slimming underwear that had butt pads in them to make your A#s appear bigger. Last but not least, looking at bathing suits....Look, I would not be caught dead in a bikini, let alone a size 18 and up in a bikini. I may sound rude or judgemental but I'm trying to protect the brave soul who bears the bikini so she gets no kackle's.

Saturday...Pittsburgh's famous St.Patty's day parade in the AM, new casino in the afternoon, then party at night. Perfecto birthday!

bbl....

Ugh Geri Really? Pink eye stinks. And boo on teams bringing down higher girls to compete with this level. So frustrating.

Stacy - Go you on speaking!!! That's awesome.

Liz - Sounds like a fab shopping trip. I went with a friend Sunday, then by myself today to prepare for New Orleans. I actually tried stuff on, which I never do. Have fun this weekend!!

Jessica - I didn't watch Bachelor at all, but had heard all the drama over Courtney and then read the re-cap in the news this morning. Almost barfed reading that. She needs to be slapped. Men are idiots (except our husbands and James of course).

Lorena - Aren't perfect parents intimidating? As if their kids have never had a bruise. And you should be proud of your babies - smart kiddos there!

I can't believe we leave the day after tomorrow. I still have two loads of laundry to do, a birthday gift to buy for a party the boys are going to while we're gone, need to done some fly-by cleaning because my MIL will be staying here with the kids, need to make a run to Ulta for shampoo and make-up, and then pack. And we leave at 0-dark-30 on Thursday. YIKES!! Did I mention E has therapy and I have physical therapy tomorrow?

Arnara - Mar 14, 2012 12:47 am (#106 Total: 253)

Donna: I must have missed something......where are you going??? I envy you with all my heart...... I wish I can run away from my home ALONE..... I am bored to study.......... Yes when it is raising someone else's kid all parents are perfect.........seems like you have a very long day tomorrow.....good luck with all that.......

Liz: yes for shopping........ that is my favorite sport..... about the bikini, my DH insist that I buy one but I think I will never use one again in my life...... for the nice underwear, they do not look nice in big sizes..... so I never usually shop, I stay with the cotton simple ones.......once I enter a nice sleep wear store, I came out frustrated.....

Stacy: hope this Wednesday you have a nice Dr. appointment..... I have not heard that movie you watched..... we usually stuck with scary movies, since my DH likes action or silly ones, and I like romantics, so the only choice we agree on are scary ones, we want to see underworld.......

Geri: sorry about the cheerleader contest...........

Last night I was passing the channels on tv, nothing good, until I found Steel Magnolias, almost finishing, I saw it several years ago, but it really struck me the scene in which Sally Field is in the cementery after burying her daughter..... I *saw* it with different eyes and made me cry so bad because now I know how she felt in that moment...... really nobody knows until you have live it through......

Well I continue studying...... at least I made reservations for a hotel/family park for this WE....... I think we all need it...... miss V made a happy funny dance when she saw the brochure of pools and ran to look for her swimming suit......that girl is so funny, she truly is my rainbow baby.....

happy Tuesday

Oh Lorena...I can't watch Steel Magnolia's because I cry the whole ENTIRE time.

Sally Field did a great job in that movie.

Hi temps...75 today.

I'm headed on a road trip, but just wanted to pop in. I just had to say that there is a list of movies one should never watch when preggers and Steel Magnolias is one of them. I saw that in February '09 when I was preggo with Naethyn, waiting for my floor to dry after mopping. Should have never been mopping a floor at 26 weeks, but, urgh . . .
