Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Katie: Wow, I'm totally livid for you and Alex. Just wow. Any word back from the principal. I'm totally an angry crier too, which makes me even madder when I start crying!

Chris: Love that poem!

Ellen: Hugs! I hope you get some time to just relax soon!

Donna: Lol, one reason I love carpets, it hides dog hair!! Ugh, hope you get better rested tonight!

This kid of mine, I swear I need to get a plastic bubble wrap outfit for him! Today I was going to try taking the baby gate down. Within five minutes he was in splashing around in the dogs bowl. So I grabbed him and undressed him from his soaking wet clothes and went to throw them in the washing machine. Come back and he's already back at it, but since he's already splashed around the tile is wet and he bit it. Hard. Whacked his head pretty good and cut up his toe, I think he bet the toenail back. Poor kid is gonna have bruises from head to toe if he keeps this up!

KHolley - Apr 19, 2012 12:07 am (#123 Total: 259)

Stacy-Elim makes me laugh, he is so boy!!!!!!!

Donna-I am pretty sure when I picture your house, it is like a magazine cover!

So, I spoke to the principal, she is actually out on bed rest. I told her my concerns and she was very sympathetic to me. She suggested that I still meet with the teacher and voice my concerns. John and I are going in tomorrow at 8 to speak with the teacher. I am guessing that they are not going to change her teacher, so we are just going to let her know that we are watching her every move. We applied to get her in to a Charter School that will cater to her higher academic needs, we are seriously hoping she gets in for next year! We just need to survive the next five weeks with this teacher!

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 19, 2012 12:38 am (#124 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Wouldn't be surprised if she's sick tomorrow! Go get 'em momma bear.

Stacy- Awwww poor kiddo! But I mean... come on.. I get it... dog bowl... SO much fun!

stacyat - Apr 19, 2012 1:33 am (#125 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Katie: Ugh, I hope your meeting with the teacher goes as well as can be expected tomorrow. How much longer till school is out?

Lauren: Lol, he LOVES anything to do with water, he just walks up to it and starts swirling his hand around in it. Pretty sure he's going through withdrawal because we're doing quickie baths because I'm paranoid about his ears getting wet. After two weeks I think the restriction is supposed to ease up though.

I got the cleaning fairy and I'm not sharing! Ok, really, I'm not coming to y'alls houses to clean there too. Aside from mopping and vacuuming our room the house is clean for the first time in a long time! Not picked up, but at least clean!

NathansMom13 - Apr 19, 2012 2:46 pm (#126 Total: 259)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Katie, as an end of the year gift get her a gift certificate to charm school, lol. I wish they would just move Alex, she deserves better.

I can't remember anything else. Trevor is keeping me busy. His fever is gone and we never heard about his UTI results, ugh.

Jess - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! So thrilled for you, boys are the best even though they pee on you.

Donna, I'm going to be in Temecula in August (the 29th and 30th) for a wedding, is that anywhere near you? I would love to see you while I'm in CA.

OK, I need to go shower so I can get ready to go meet with Nathan's teachers so we can prepare for his IEP meeting.

Donna S - Apr 19, 2012 2:51 pm (#127 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Laura - Temecula is 25 minutes away from me. Oh yay!!!!!! Putting the dates down now on my calendar.

Katie - Soooooo NOT a magazine cover. Sending lots of good thoughts your way.

Donna S - Apr 19, 2012 3:15 pm (#128 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Sorry I cut that last one short...didn't realize the time, and it's my carpool morning. AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Laura - good luck with the IEP meeting. And where did you find your keys? :-0

Loooooooonnnnngggg day ahead. Supposed to go swim this morning, after Ethan's 8 year old check up. Then lunch with a couple of friends, laundry and packing, Ryley's game (or the start of it), and soccer meeting. We leave tomorrow morning for AZ (again). Ethan's had a bit of a rough week settling back in to routine, and now we're pulling him out of it again. Blech.

KHolley - Apr 19, 2012 3:26 pm (#129 Total: 259)

Donna-Nope, pretty sure your house is always spotless! My vote is a nap instead of a swim!

Laura-Good luck with the IEP meeting this morning. I say you don't shower, they might give you whatever you are asking for just to get you out of there! Call me if you need any advice!

No meeting this morning. I sent Alex to school, with a note that says I will not meet with the teacher without an administrator present, so they are setting something up. I sent her planner, with the inappropriate note from the teacher back to school with her. The teacher emailed me this morning, completely backtracking, I am pretty sure she reread the planner and feels horrible. She apologized for offending us!

On a better note, I am down 34 pounds!!!! Love me some Weight Watchers!

Donna S - Apr 19, 2012 3:30 pm (#130 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Katie - Way to go. And she should be apologizing. Moron. Oops did I type that out loud?

You really want a picture of my messy house, don't you?

liz loschinskey - Apr 19, 2012 4:39 pm (#131 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

Katie...Totally jealous of the 34 pounds. Stupid teacher should be apologizing. That whole thing still angers me.

Laura...hahahha I am honored to know your child pee's on you.

Donna, back to AZ...hope that's a good thing.

Stupid kid care at the gym pulled me out of my awesome workout this morning. I was actually motivated to jog 5 miles on the mountain terrain on the treadmill, but only got 3 in. They said "Tori is crying, wet and freezing" I told kid care she had spilled water down the front of her in the car. I come back to kid care to find Tori in someone's oversized zip up sweatshirt(that reaked like cigarette smoke) and her socks and shoes. Kid care hands me back her now dry clothes and said she was crying and inconsolable. I'd be upset and crying too if a stranger took all of my clothes off. I thought to myself.."Don't ever take my kids clothes off, come get me first" I told the stupid ladies it was water. dumb, dumb lady.

bbl...

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 19, 2012 5:22 pm (#132 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Katie- She best be apologizing!! and 34lbs! OMG!

Liz- 3 miles?! I'm impressed already!

Stacy- You send that cleaning fairy right over here this instant!! I'll gladly just sit and have pizza with her on the lanai!

Donna- Ugh, that is a ridiculously busy day.... you sure you don't have more hours in the day than the average bear?

Laura- Seriously, still no results?! Good luck at the meeting!

Ooooh I made the best coffee this morning. Love it when it's sooooo perfect!

stacyat - Apr 19, 2012 6:35 pm (#133 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Laura: Say what?! Are they going off of the no news is good news route? Glad his fever is gone now though. Big hugs!

Katie: Fingers crossed that the backpedaling means she'll start treating Alex better.

Liz: Um....yeah, I'd be pretty upset if I were her too!

Lauren: Well now, since you put it that way! I'm packin' my bags!

liz loschinskey - Apr 19, 2012 6:55 pm (#134 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

Lauren, I love perfect coffee....Oh, how I love the perfect cup of coffee...

Stacy, how's Elim doing with no baby gates? ps-Tori still has a tendency to dip her hands and or toys in Raskal's water. She also has a tendency to eat a kibble of CAT(SeeyAtee)'s food.

I'm still perplexed that the kid care people took all of T's clothes off. Is that normal? It's rubbing me the wrong way...I'm not sure why.

stacyat - Apr 19, 2012 7:10 pm (#135 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Liz: HA! No, that only lasted those five to ten minutes it took him to hurt himself. They're back up, and I've bought more gates! I'm sick of walking around with a butter knife in my back pocket to unlock the doors I've locked so the gates are going up and problem solved!

I'd say it's probably normal if she gets wet while you're away. Although, I'd think if you brought her in slightly damp and made it clear you knew it then that would mean leave her in the clothes unless you tell them otherwise.

Donna S - Apr 19, 2012 9:08 pm (#136 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Liz - I think I would be perturbed too. I do not miss the days of getting called out of a good workout for an unhappy child in kid care. Good for you on three miles though.

Lauren - Yippee on the perfect coffee. Will you teach me how to do that please?

Stacy - Keep the gates. It'll save your sanity. I think Ethan was five when we finally took ours down (granted the last two years we had them up they were mostly for the dogs). I can't tell you how many times my three got into dog food and dog water. How's the cleaning going?

No, I don't have more hours in my days, which is probably why I'm beat all the time. Seriously, it sounds like I'm busier, but I'm not, it's just a different busy than you all are dealing with.

Ugh....E lost weight, and fell on the growth chart for height at a time he should be slowly but steadily increasing. Follow-up weight check in three months, and if he still holds or falls on the chart again, we get a bone scan. Grrrrrrr. I thought I was past these days.

lvazquez - Apr 19, 2012 9:50 pm (#137 Total: 259)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Stacy - I'm sorry for all of the bumps and stumbles for little Elim. Unfortunately, there probably will be more of those, so just warning ya. No doubt you're first aid kid is stocked and ready:)
Still find it hard to get the house all picked up as they get older. Even when it is, it never lasts long.

Lorena - Happy Anniversary to you!!! I hope it was a nice time. I bet your kiddos had a lot of fun and Chuck E. Cheese's. Sorry about the traffic afterwards. Hope you caught up on some much needed zzz's.

Katie - Happy Anniversary to you too! That's wonderful!!! Hope you guys were able to celebrate out or a nice time at home. Sorry to hear that you have to deal with this. I'm glad that you waited to have an administrator present for that meeting. Like you said, just five more weeks. Hope it flies by for you guys and that she gets in to the charter for next year.

Donna - Happy wedding! It's hot here lady! I hope ya'll can get near a pool to cool off! Finally had to turn on the A/C:) Probably won't be turning that off again until early October! So cool that you're singing!!! That's so neat! You'll do great!

Jackie - Hoping that you are getting all of your to-do's completed and that you have a nice walk in your area.

Tracy - How did the testing go?

Chris - Thank you for sharing that. Definitely can relate.

Lauren - We were too honest. I'm just waiting for the denial letter and planning to reapply when he turns 5. I love paying out-of-pocket for stuff! This is FUN! How you doin'?

Ellen - Sounds like she's enjoying those activities. Keeping her busy, that's good:)

Jessica - CONGRATULATIONS! I'm partial to little boys (that's all I know). I feel your excitement and I bet your hubby is on cloud 9! Glad the appointment went well and congrats on outdoor plumbing:)

Today was our last day of SARRC - program for parents of kids with ASD. Kind of sad. Mr. T really looked forward to going as well. Looking ahead to more programs until we can get services going. Hmm, what else can I sell around here . . .? One final fundraiser tomorrow for MOD. Yup, another garage sale. HOA is putting one on, so I may as well be out there too trying to unload. Testing Break tomorrow - no school for the kiddos. It's hot again:( Definitely going to be spending it by the pool.

stacyat - Apr 19, 2012 10:44 pm (#138 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Donna: Yep, I think it's gonna come down to that. On the one hand I'm ok with it but on the other hand if he would learn not to go to certain areas it'd make it easier to go to friends houses. Haven't done any cleaning today, got it out of my system yesterday and the day before, lol. Ugh!! Hope he gains weight before his next visit.

Lindsay: It's been nice here too, but not nice enough for some pool time. I'm counting the days though!

Seriously?! It continues. He was already doing this when I walked in after he got quite while I was doing dishes. I put my hand there to steady him so I could get a picture, I'd feel really bad if I just took it and he fell down just so I could get a picture of him standing on top of his slide.

KHolley - Apr 19, 2012 11:01 pm (#139 Total: 259)

Stacy-He's all boy!!! Love that kid!

Donna-Did they take into account how active he is? Poor thing!

Lindsay-Put the kids to bed, then start taking toys you know they don't play with to sell!

We actually took the night off from all sports! No karate or t-ball, we felt like they just needed a break! I find out next week if Alex gets into the charter school, it's called Plato Academy, Google it, pretty awesome school! If Alex gets in, Landen automatically gets offered a spot for Pre-K!!!

Donna S - Apr 19, 2012 11:08 pm (#140 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Stacy - You have a little daredevil on your hands.

Katie - Wahoo on taking a night off. Sometimes you need a mental-health night off from activities. And I wish he were as active as the other two so I could blame it on that. He isn't playing any sports right now, and we have to push to get him to go outside and play.

Lindsay - We're staying at a hotel, so yes, there's definitely a pool. I heard it's going to be pretty darn warm. Thankfully the wedding is in the evening, so we can spend the warmest part of the day in the pool. Yay!! Good luck with the yard sale tomorrow, and on finding more programs.

NathansMom13 - Apr 20, 2012 12:51 am (#141 Total: 259)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Katie, I'm totally jealous of the 34lb weight loss! You're doing amazing. I don't have the dedication to be on a weight loss program right now... or I'm just a little bit lazy! Can't wait to hear if Alex gets into the Charter school, I hope she does.

Liz, I can't believe they took Tori's clothes off her - weird. I wouldn't want strangers undressing my child, really weird.

Stacy, that picture of Elim is adorable. Trevor also loves to stand on inappropriate things. I have a picture of him standing on top of his toy garage.

Donna, want to have lunch with me on Thursday, the 30th, of August? That night is my cousin's rehearsal dinner so we are free all day until we need to go to that.

So last night at work I couldn't find my keys, looked all over. My friend ended up driving me home so I could get the spare set and then driving me back to work so I could get my car. I had left my purse in my car and was hoping my keys were in there - I looked, they weren't there. So I was sure I had lost them. Turns out I didn't look good enough and Matt found my "lost" keys in my purse

Oh, and I found out at the meeting today that Nathan's language is ABOVE normal for his age, and his speech is just inside of average! That is amazing considering he's only been speaking since September!!

Angel Love - Apr 20, 2012 1:54 am (#142 Total: 259)

Jessica~ CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Sooo....different from girls, but so much fun!! (And I'm just an aunt to boys!!! )

Katie~ 34 lbs. down means you can kick that teacher's butt without getting out of breath!!!! I'm still ticked about that, and am glad that she's backtracking now because she knows that she was in the wrong. Make her "fear" you!!! You know what that means.....be "that" parent for the next 5 weeks!

Donna~ Oh, I so want you to post that pic!!! I'll just bet that my "lived in" and your "lived in" are totally different!!

Stacy~ So stinkin' cute standing on top of that slide! My friend's son is exactly the same....complete with the big grin of accomplishment!

Laura~ Woohoo on Nathan's speech eval!!! He gets that from his momma I'll bet!! Glad T's fever is gone! You should get your money back for that test since they never told you anything. Dare ya to call them and tell them that!

Lorena~ Chucky Cheese is there too?????!!!! I'm so not a fan of that place and would hate to know that even out of country I could be stuck there. UGH---shuttering to think of it!

Lindsay~ So far, so good....I guess, on the test. Tomorrow is regular schedule, but Tuesday and Wednesday we have two more sections to do. I think there is more security on those test booklets then there is on my money at the bank.

Love the Holland story as always! So true!!! "Holland" has a lot of understanding and friendly people.

Okay--seriously found the straightening up fairy!!!

When I got home today my landlords (my mom) had cut my grass. That's nothing new....I don't own a lawnmower anymore. Anyway, she came inside to wash her hands or something and felt like I might could use a bit of help. Yes, it was just a bit of straightening and sweeping the floors, but that's HUGE to me. Also, my fridge was cleaned out!!!!!! Yep----that's one of my least favorite jobs! Anyway, I love my mom......she's awesome!

liz loschinskey - Apr 20, 2012 4:55 am (#143 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

Blah...i can't sleep...stoppin by to see if anyone's awake.

Nope.

liz loschinskey - Apr 20, 2012 12:16 pm (#144 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

Ooooh la la....Momma got herself a new pair of shoes! Bye, bye old Nikey's. My totally awesome shoes had over 300 miles on them(According to nike.com).

Ordered a new pair this morning....YaY!!

Have a good Friday everyone!!!

KHolley - Apr 20, 2012 12:47 pm (#145 Total: 259)

Liz-I love getting new shoes! I am not sure what the protocol is for changing your kid, I always pack a gallon ziplock with a change of clothes for my kids when they stay in the gym daycare.

Last day of state testing!!! Back to the gym next week since I don't have to be at work until 9 next week!

liz loschinskey - Apr 20, 2012 1:46 pm (#146 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

Katie, good idea on the extra set of clothes.

Hooray for testing to be over!

NathansMom13 - Apr 20, 2012 6:02 pm (#147 Total: 259)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Guess who is the new assistant coach for Nathan's t-ball team... if you guessed ME you'd be right!! I think it will help him be more willing to try and play since yesterday at practice he just sat on the bench and cried the whole time since he was scared he wouldn't be able to keep up with the other kids.

Tomorrow is opening day, pray for nice weather so it doesn't get postponed!

KHolley - Apr 21, 2012 1:24 am (#148 Total: 259)

So, Laura and I have made plans to attend this awesome concert in August! You know we are going to rock this! Everyone is more than welcome to go with us! http://mixtapefestival.com/

stacyat - Apr 21, 2012 3:31 am (#149 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Katie: Fingers crossed Alex gets in, that would be awesome! Aww, wish I could go!!

Laura: Today it was his megablock table.

SO tired, was hoping to try to wean Elim into sleeping all night, but that's out the window now that he's got a snotty nose and low-grade fever. Can't let him work it out himself if he's feeling sick, poor baby. His throat looks fine, and I'm gonna assume his ears are too since I don't see any extra drainage, just the good ole snot nose stuffiness.

katestclair - Apr 21, 2012 1:11 pm (#150 Total: 259)

Proud Mommy to Alexis, Kyle and Jackson

Hi my pretty peeps. Stopped by to catch up on all my favorite girls. Xoxo
