Lindsay-We bought our boat right after Alex was born, we never took it out because it was too much work. Now that we have it docked, we take it out almost every weekend. Come on down here, I can introduce you to Winter and take you out on the boat!!!

Donna S - Apr 30, 2012 12:07 am (#233 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Katie - Saw the boat picture on FB. Looks so beautiful and relaxing!!! Can your hubby give my lessons on the grocery shopping thing, please?

Tracy - Saying prayers and crossing everything for your job.

Liz - The weather for your walk looks gorgeous!! So happy it went well. Sending pain-free vibes your way.

Lauren - That's taking multi-tasking to new levels. I'm oh so jealous. Wait, I think I may be repeating myself. lol. Beach.....aaaaahhhhhh!!!!

Lindsay - Probably good to keep all options open. It'll work out.

Stacy - Patiently awaiting the kahlua pork recipe. YUM!! I'm still speechless over seeing your team shirts at the San Diego M4B yesterday. Jane was absolutely so sweet. Her husband was probably wondering who this crazy person approaching his wife was. He took it all in stride.

Lorena - you'd look fabulous in whatever you pick to wear. Yay for Miss V!!

Busy weekend here (I know, repeating myself again). Worked the Family Teams tent at our big walk yesterday. There were over 11,000 people walking! Insanity. So amazing. Ryley had a baseball game (he went 2 for 3, scored twice), Grace had Spring Showcase at her dance studio, church this morning, then Grace's last Spring soccer game this afternoon (she scored a goal!). Now just working on the house to get it ready for next weekend. What are the chances I'll paint one room, make curtains for three rooms, clean the entire downstairs, re-upholster four patio chairs, and get all the food/drink before 6pm next Saturday? Right....I know I'm over-reaching.

KHolley - Apr 30, 2012 12:17 am (#234 Total: 259)

Donna-I saw all of your sports pictures on FB. Your kids are absolutely adorable!!! I am still convinced that your house looks like a magazine! The picture from the boat is awesome, my kids look like they have never been more tired in their lives!!!

We saw about 6 dolphins yesterday. They love to chase the boats and jump in the wakes!

Donna S - Apr 30, 2012 12:20 am (#235 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Ohhhh...I love seeing dolphins. They just make me smile. Thanks..I think my kiddos are pretty amazing if I may say so myself.

Nope, still not magazine worthy, but trying to get close to that - hopefully before I'm too old to see it anymore. If you could just see all the clutter, banged up walls, half-finished baseboards, curtainless windows, etc....ugh. We are our own worst critics, right?

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 30, 2012 12:56 am (#236 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Donna- That's too cool you saw Stacy's team in SD! 11,000 people! Wow... I mean wow!

Katie- Um.. we're all coming to visit in October.

Tracy- It's the pits when it goes hot to cold, cold to hot. I'm with you.. rather the hot than the cold.

Lindsay- That is a great weekend and so great that you washed the car and it hasn't rained! I seem to do a rain dance every time I wash my car.

Slowly but surely getting the house put together... mommy coming for a visit this week. And let's all heart on my ol' MFM some more who emailed just to check in.

KHolley - Apr 30, 2012 1:10 am (#237 Total: 259)

Lauren-I am hoping that you all take a few days to come back to my neck of the woods! We can all go out on the boat!

Donna-Dolphins always put a smile on my face, they get right up next to the boat, kids can just about touch them! Your house is probably wonderful, I look at my house and think of a million things that I could fix!!!!

Liz: Glad your walk turned out beautifully! Hope those pain meds kicked in son after your post!

Tracy: Ha! I won't be cooking again like that for awhile, no more cookouts and my turn for ladies night won't be for awhile.

Lindsay: Wow, you had a super busy day! Whatcha hop around for? Couponing? I'm horrible with those...

Katie: I bet that was a fun day out on the boat! Do you go skiing or just tooling around?

Donna: It's so crazy, I didn't even know where she was walking till I went to investigate who it might've been when you sent me the message! Seriously, that made my day. Wow, just when I thought Lindsay had a crazy busy weekend here comes Donna!

Went and hung out at my parents tonight, had a decent time. Have Elim's follow up for his ears tomorrow morning, which I think they'll be fine, at least I hope they are!

That'd be such a welcome to change to hear all good and Elim's ears in the same sentence!

We watched Moneyball last night... pretty good movie. I never got the Brad Pitt hottest dude around tho... he looks like a Chipmunk to me.

Morning ladies.

Achy face, gym, find a dvd player to T's playroom as she got her favorite mickey mouse dvd stuck in there. All I've been hearing since yesterday is Mickey Mouse, Mickey Mouse, I want to watch Mickey Mouse. NOW!

She got that NOW from me saying sit down, now.....Bah....live and learn.

Top news at 8.22am, hunting accident, man gets shot in the face with a 12 guage shot gun. How the heckyl and jeckyl do you shoot yourself in the face with a shot gun?

Donna S - Apr 30, 2012 2:56 pm (#244 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Liz - Definitely not a happy start to that guy's Monday I gather. Yeah, they definitely repeat our words, usually at the most inopportune time.

Lauren - Grrrrrr on the rain! I've never been a huge Brad Pitt fan either. Don't get why people think he's so attractive. But he did a good job in that movie. Maybe I'm a little biased because it's about my favorite team? Your MFM rocks!!

Stacy - Good luck with the ear follow-up!

Katie - Right? I can tell you where all the marks and dings are on the walls, where the kids have colored on the walls, where the playdoh is in the carpet, where the red wine spill is on the couch, where the baseboards are not perfectly flush with the wall. But realistically, when people come over, I doubt they see any of it.

Donna S - Apr 30, 2012 2:57 pm (#245 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Off to the gym, then laundry, Home Depot, fabric store, second grade volunteering, painting, and Monday evening insanity. Blessedly, Grace's soccer practice tonight has been cancelled. Yay!

Arnara - Apr 30, 2012 4:02 pm (#246 Total: 259)

Stacy: I truly hope miss V grow out of her shyness but as a kid because shy kids have some trouble ..... That is so nice of your friend to adopt a kid from Korea.....Hope Elim's ear follow up is fine...

Lauren: I agree, I don't like Brad Pitt..... I am in love always with the bad boys of the movies, and I love this British actor, Mark Strong...he is always the antagonist ... I didn't like that movie, Moneyball it was so boring....

Donna: that is a lot to do in a Monday, and you still have time for the gym......

Liz: Hope you are feeling better....Oh why you go to the gym??? I remember dentist always said that you have to be in little rest after a procedure..... Did you asked your Dr about the gym??? Ohh DVD I bought fancy one for mis V she got stock dough in it... ruined, now I bought her a really cheap one.....

Katie: that is so neat to have your own boat and that you can hang in it for the weekend.....That is my DH dream to sail in a big boat just the 4 of us for some days..... I am not so sure about it, I am little scare of the sea.... Oh that summer camp for Alex sounds wonderful....

Lindsay: yes it was a small reception after the wedding, in the groom's parents house, it is huge house with lovely gardens and pool, bad idea, miss V saw the pool and want to swim, one kid fell in it, inmediatly after the father went for him, I was nervous watching miss V ..... by the way it was so beautiful with red petals and balloons with roses inside....Don't know how they got the roses inside....

We have the day off in school, since tomorrow is Labor Day, just my DH had to work.... and the house painter, he rang the door bell at 7 am....=(..... My only day I can get up late and I forgot to tell the painter to skip the day.... and to get my day worst I have some stomach bug...... ugh!

So I just want to be in bed today, but kids are asking me what are we going to do.....

Good Monday and good week everyone....

Lorena

mom to Emily (36 weeker)- 8 yo, Alaina (33 weeker)- 5 yo, Matthew (37 weeker)- 3 yo

Hope everyone like the MAD LIB.. Thanks for everyones answers

One BEAUTIFULl Spring day in April all the March of Dimes volunteers were preparing for their walks. Some were in SCHOOL and others were in the PITTSBURGH ZOO AND AQUARIUM but they were all preparing for a great cause. Everyone was collecting MAILBOX and making their AIRPLANES in hope that their drink would be the SMOKIN one yet.
As the day was coming near everyone watched the DOG and prayed to the gods. Finally the TORNADIC day came and the weather was RAINY and 113 walkers came out to support the team. JULIE was there and MIKEY was there too. All in all it was a BEWILDERED day to raise money for something we believe in.

liz loschinskey - Apr 30, 2012 5:19 pm (#248 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

hahahahaha Awesome madlib!

Katie, my husband loves his boat. Here's the difference between you and I....You get a big nice Ocean to dock and float around in. I get 3 mangy stick filled rivers. We just put our boat in last weekend. Too cold for me. 35/75ish temps.

Lorena, I wish I could stay in bed all day, just one day.

Donna, you are so busy all the time, how do you do it?!

Lauren, New Hawaii 5-0 on tonight, I'm going to look for you in the background.

Mickey Mouse is back up and running in the play room. I was rather impressed with my skills of hooking up the dvd player to the tv and it actually working. It's raining and looks pretty iffy outside.

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Liz- 35/75 ish temps!? Ugh on those extremes!

Geri- Lovin' the mad lib!

Lorena- The wedding sounds beautiful...yeah how did they get those petals in there?! That's magic.

Donna- Sounds like a well loved home... and you're right, no one would notice that... they'd be too taken with all the love in the house.

Monday Monday.... May Cafe Names Ladies? Leave it up to me and you're getting "May Cafe"
Stacy- How was the appointment? I had a dream about you posting about it on Share.

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 30, 2012 5:48 pm (#250 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Total mystery... you know how kids socks have those non-slip thingies on the bottom. A pair of Micah's have all the non-slip missing from one of them.... no pulls like it got pulled off... just totally not there anymore. Maybe I need more coffee.

Angel Love - Apr 30, 2012 6:20 pm (#251 Total: 259)

Katie~ Yes, this is the week...... I'm seriously glad that I'm on a 4-day schedule....that's less days to have that knot in my stomach. Boating......love it!!!

Donna~ If I pretend that I'm having a poker tourny, will you come help me clean up my house?? I don't think it'd be so intimidating with a friend.

Lindsay~ Bring that child with you and wash and wax my car!!! Seriously---this thing is soo....dirty!!! I'll leave the inside for Lauren and Micah

Lorena~ Oh man on the painter showing up bright and early!! That's just my luck

Haircuts and lunch with friends today then back home for school work.....okay--so I made it here first, but there's nothing wrong with that, right??

May Cafe Names: Hmmm......
May Have a Job, May Not..... (okay--so not so Share friendly)
Mother May I Cafe'
May Day! May Day! Cafe'

Okay....that's all I've got today---which wasn't so much when I look back.....

Geri: too funny that mad lib I am planning to do one with S as funny and imaginativo as he is I am sure he'll love it.....

Lauren: The mistery of The sock....to tell The truth I hate Washington those socks...oh I know how They put The petals in The pool, no mistery there, I was wondering about The roses in The balloons

Lindsay: I forgot to commet of your productive weekend.... I am sure T enjoyed washing your car.....

Tracy: must be a nerveous week for you..... Thinking of you..... Your day sounds great so far.... I forgot to comment how nice of your mother to come to your house and do some chores for you without asking you..... I made a mental note to do that with miss V echen she grows up....

So my daughter is little over dramatic, she has a little bite of a mosquito I assumed, and she insists that she was bitten by an elephant...?????.....

Arnara - Apr 30, 2012 7:05 pm (#254 Total: 259)

Lauren: "washing" was The word not washington sorry those autocorrect phone

Lol! Lorena I love it! Bit by an elephant! That is classic!

Donna S - Apr 30, 2012 10:31 pm (#257 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

Lorena - LOL...bit by an elephant. Too cute/funny. I would have been nervous about the pool too.

Geri - Awesome Mad Lib!

Tracy - It is much less intimidating with a friend. Honestly, I wouldn't have even grabbed fabric swatches, nor known at all what I needed, if it weren't for the friends I had with me. Sounds like a decent day for you.

Liz - Go you on getting the dvd player hooked up to the tv. Well beyond my skills.

I'm all for the May Day! May Day! Cafe.

Okay, touch-up paint done downstairs. Fabric chosen for patio chairs, and I bought enough to try one before plunking down the cash for all four. Also picked out fabric for window coverings in the game room, dining room, and kitchen. Yahoo!!!! Now, to just actually buy the stuff, the curtain rods and hardware, and make them. Wish me luck!! I will admit, except for the kitchen, it's probably going to have to wait until AFTER the poker tournament. It's super nice just to have the wall dings covered up.

stacyat - May 1, 2012 2:15 am (#258 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Elim's ears are all good! We even got some fancy shmancy earplugs for him for bathtime and swimming! Weird that different surgeons have different protocols, my nephew doesn't have to wear them at all.

Funny mad lib!! Love it!

Lorena: Aww, that's a bad day off! No sleep and tummy ache? I hope you feel better soon!

Tracy: HAHA!!! If you're not laughing you're crying, right?

Yup, it's the first week of May here in Oklahoma, here come the tornadoes! I'm contemplating going back home to put Charles' car in the garage, and grab my pictures and the girls ashes and coming back to my parents house just in case some of them hit us.....

lvazquez - May 1, 2012 2:44 am (#259 Total: 259)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Stacy - Yay for Elim's ears! What a relief for you both:) Oh gosh, tornadoes, stay safe please.

Geri - I really like the MadLibs:)

Donna - Sounds like it's all coming together at your place. When you mentioned wall dings, oh I hear you there. I think I need some new drywall to get rid of the kitchen floor and great room road rage from over the years:)

Lorena - The wedding sounds beautiful. That's such a neat idea to have rose pedal filled balloons. That must have been a scary moment with the one kiddo falling in. Glad that father got in right away. Happy Day off to you:)

Tracy - I used to get really frustrated that I couldn't get more house stuff done while watching kiddos. Now that they are a little older, I have them help and I try to make it fun. I was surprised. This time Mr. T didn't get soaked and he was ever so careful to keep his sandals from getting wet. Never thought I'd be the kind of gal to wax my car, but it's so much cheaper if you DIY and I guess it's exercise? Does that count?
