Oh Erin... I'm so proud of you for doing that!!! You inspire us all momma! Total junk on the canceled massage! Doesn't even take a smart phone to call a client and tell 'em their appointment is canceled!

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Should be a fun day Liz!

It's our walk day today... while I'll be there I'm super bummed to not be walking!

Angel Love - Apr 14, 2012 10:26 pm (#77 Total: 259)

Holy moly at the posts that I had to catch up on! Ya'll have been busy the past few days. So have I....hence the fact that I've not even made it online.

Stacy~ I'm glad that Elim's procedure went well and he's back to playing!

Erin~ Girl, you sure do know how to make a momma jealous!!!! I'd seriously be bummed about the lack of massage too, but hey--what a great excuse to go do it again!!

Liz~ Squealing is not my thing!!! Maybe you could just invite the "competition" over for meals so that Tori will eat!!

Lauren~ Bummer on not getting to walk, but next year will be here before you know it!

Jessica~ Sorry about your director. That's difficult....I know, I've had several in the past 7 years. That's part of the reason that they're moving my walk....my rep is moving to FL. Maybe Katie and Sam can benefit from her awesomeness!!

Okay so the word is that we'll find out about the job situation on May 4th. (tentatively) I know that you all have been cheering me on the whole time and I appreciate that, but if you're the "praying kind", then that day would be a great day for constant prayers not only for me, but for my friends and co-workers too.

I'm such a baby when it comes to storms, so I'm nervous for those of you in the path of these nasty thunderstorms. My prayers and thoughts are with you whether you have things to worry about or not. Stay safe!

Okay---so according to my stomach, it's supper time. Enjoy your evening girls!

stacyat - Apr 14, 2012 10:36 pm (#78 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Erin: Good for you for getting out like that!! Love that you got some me time! Yep, super common surgery! I'd like surgery-lite since there are no incision sites and they're not in any pain after, just gotta put em to sleep so they don't squirm! Oh my goodness, yes it was painful, I had never had one do that before, clogged duct sure, but not a total blockage that wouldn't go away! It still hurts to nurse him on that side, I think the blister did some damage, I'm considering calling my OB for a prescription for Newman's APNO if it's still hurting Monday.

Liz: Sounds like a busy but fun weekend for you! Hope the storms hold off till after outside fun is had!

Lauren: Bummer! I hope you have nice weather for it at least!

We survived day one of storms! A small tornado touched down about 8-9 miles away last night. Some more supercells are supposed to form starting in about an hour and a half. If it looks like it's going to get near us, we'll go spend the night at my parents' house since they've got a storm shelter.

Garage sale was okayish, we made about 230 for it, though 100 was from a table and chairs we sold on Craig's list. Don't know that we'll repeat last year, but trial and error I guess! I'm happy with our total fundraising for this year, I think we've more than doubled the previous two years combined.

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 15, 2012 12:21 am (#79 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

That's huge! And seriously, you had tornadoes to compete with!

Tracy- Crossin' crossables May 4th comes and goes without too much shake up for ya!

Came back from the walk... 107/43.... ooooh yeah baby, meds are workin! Didn't take it before I left because I didn't want to know...

This year's walk had really good energy, and I forget who the kiddie stamp card idea was from... Jackie?? Kids LOVED it. They got plants as prizes.

ethan&casey's mom - Apr 15, 2012 1:19 am (#80 Total: 259)

mom to angels ethan and casey (3-7-07); daughters Kaelin Reese born happy and healthy on 3-10-09; and Kelsey Grace on 9/17/11

stacy: just a quick suggestion for the pain leftover from your milk blister. a warm salt water soak before and after you pump, and before and after you nurse does wonders. I had a painful one last month and did the salt water soaks ... and after a few days -- it went away. a lactation consultant suggested this to me when I was getting a lot of them while weaning Kaelin.

let me know if you try it and if it helps.

erin

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Stacy - Glad to hear that Elim' surgery went well.

Lauren - Good that Micah let you sleep a bit more:) Such a good boy!

Shannon - Good luck with your craft show and bake sale. Yum!

Liz - I can't really stand the screaming children thing either. Hurts ears and makes me want to drink:)

We were supposed to get rain, but it never came our way. Some wind here and there, but not like what the weather reports were indicating. It was a fun Saturday and I'm relieved that's it's over for now.

Lindsay~ Great pics! That's great that the rain didn't ruin things for ya!!

Lauren~ Lovin' those numbers!!

Stacy~ I hope you're still safe from the storms. Love your yard sale numbers even though they weren't as high as last year. Nobody can ask for more when there are storms brewin'!!

We've been skating today! Ansley's friend had a birthday party at the skating rink so we were off after church to enjoy some exercise. Well, let's change that a bit.....SHE exercised....I watched!

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 15, 2012 11:39 pm (#83 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lindsay- I love the pics! You look fabulous momma... and the boys are adorable as always.

Tracy- Ice or Roller? Either sounds fun to me!

liz loschinskey - Apr 15, 2012 11:56 pm (#84 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

Lindsay, love the pics and so glad the weather held off!
Tracy, I'd be frightened of any type of skates. We used to go ice skating, not since Tori.
Lauren, hi!
Erin, Sorry about your massage, I'd be content with some uninterupted TV, glass of wine, and a big comfy bed.

Good weekend here.

bbl...

NathansMom13 - Apr 16, 2012 12:27 am (#85 Total: 259)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Erin, I'd be super bummed about the massage. I've always wanted one but I just can't ever find the time.

Stacy, glad the milk blister doesn't hurt anymore. Clogged ducts are the worst, I had two with Trevor and it was awful.

Tracy, I'd just watch also since I'd probably kill myself on skates!

Ugh, can't remember anything else. Trevor STILL has a fever and we are still waiting for urine results. I know it can take up to 5 days for results and no one will call on the weekend but I'm sick of this. Also, he has diarrhea now, ugh. At least he's acting better and finally eating/drinking mostly normal. I'm calling the Dr tomorrow to see if they have any suggestions.

stacyat - Apr 16, 2012 2:45 am (#86 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Lauren: Woohoo for workin meds!! Your kidneys will be saved yet!

Erin: Thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try that when I'm at home, which should be more during the week than the weekend.

Lindsay: Aww, looks like everyone is having fun! Glad the weather held out!

Tracy: Very true, people braved the possibly scary weather to come out!

Laura: Oh no, it still hurts, the clogged part doesn't but where it was does! Back to how much it hurt when he was just a newbie, which was BAD! Oh wow, poor baby, I hope they can get him better quick.

SO tired! I was up from 2-4 last night, Elim woke me up to eat at first then I was perusing facebook and saw about a deadly tornado in Woodward so I assumed the storms were worse than thought. Then I turned tv on and couldn't go back to sleep till the line of storms passed the worst of it by. It was just a bunch of noise, rain, lightning and wind. No tornadoes out here at least! My heart breaks for the families that lost someone, especially the three little ones.

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 16, 2012 2:50 am (#87 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Laura- Ugh on Trevor's fever... they best have an answer for ya tomorrow!

Stacy- Oh gosh, that's sad! That would keep me up. Those storms sound so scary.

So far so ok on the bp... they're having me take it a ridiculous amount of times a day which is actually kind of neat since I can see when it kicks in and when it starts to wear off.

esgf - Apr 16, 2012 12:54 pm (#88 Total: 259)

Abigail's Mom (29 weeks, 3/21/05)

Lindsay- Great pictures. Glad your walk was a success.

Lauren- Glad the walk and the BP went well.

Stacy- 230 sounds good to me but I am sure that was a lot of work.

Erin- I am so glad you made it to the hotel. I hope you are more relaxed. Bummer on the massage but now you definitely have an excuse to get out again.

Tracy- Will keep everyone in mind on the 4th. Glad the party was lots of fun. Abigail has her first skating party this weekend. We'll see how that goes....

Liz- I hope the zoo was fun and that the screeching is kept to a minimum this week at your house. I do not do well with screeching.

The weekend here was good but too fast. She had her first soccer game of the season and it was a typical small kids game except they decided to play more kids than usual at one time so instead of a herd of 6-8 kids kicking at the ball, there were 12...yeah it was a long hour. She had a great time at swimming and I got some networking done for work. The next two weeks are crazy at work and I really need to buckle down for March for Babies....Oh well, always something fun, right?

Angel Love - Apr 16, 2012 6:18 pm (#89 Total: 259)

Stacy~ So glad ya'll are okay after those nasty storms! I realize that a lot of people in that area have storm shelters and what-not because they know that they live in the path of a lot of storms, but it's still scary to me----especially when I have friends living in the area!

Lauren~ Roller skating----I live in the south in April----no ice except in the freezer! Heck, this year, there was no ice any time!!

Ellen~ I hope that Abigail enjoys skating as much as Ansley does. It's great entertainment and pretty cheap too.

Okay- so we had a great time yesterday with friends and I came home and grabbed some supper (that's dinner for those of you who don't like my southerness). Anyway, I fell asleep on the couch with the belly not feeling so great. Um yep----some crazy virus has attacked me!!! I've not been this sick in forever!!!

Needless to say after a long night of no sleep, I'm pouring in the liquids and bland food today to try and gain enough strength for tomorrow. Yep---standardized testing is tomorrow and I will completely die if I have to turn my children over to someone else for this test.

KHolley - Apr 16, 2012 7:38 pm (#90 Total: 259)

Tracy-I was beyond sick a couple of weeks ago, never been that sick in my life. I hope you feel better. I know you have testing this week and no way to take off!

Ellen-I love little kid soccer!

Lauren-Glad the BP is staying down!

Laura-It sounds like Trevor is feeling a little better, I was worried about him.

I have strep again, doctor put me on voice rest..umm...not so easy with state testing this week! Back on another round of antibiotics!

Anyone watch GCB? I am addicted to that show!

Donna S - Apr 16, 2012 7:58 pm (#91 Total: 259)

Mom to Ryley, 26 weeker, Grace and Ethan, full-termers

91 posts? Holy crackers Batman - there's no way I'll ever remember any of it.

I'm back. Spent 6 days at my dad's (loved it - sorry we didn't hook up Lindsay....we were BUSY with my sister's wedding coming up this weekend). Our walk was this past Saturday, and we had Michael's cousin in town. Head back to AZ this weekend for the wedding, our other walk is on the 28th and then our poker tournament on the 5th. Tired? Good, cuz I'm exhausted.

Miss you all a ton, and could really use some real live hugs.

Arnara - Apr 16, 2012 10:47 pm (#92 Total: 259)

Good afternoon girls, I am so sorry for you Katie and Tracy being sick, hope you are feeling better in no time, urgh Katie voice rest, that is interesting, you have to get a board to write.....

Stacy: How scary, I can't even imagine the feeling of a storm of that magnitude if with little rain and thunders I get scare.... So glad Elim's surgery went all right and he is back to old self.....

Erin: Wow so nice you had your little escapade that must have been great.... sorry about the massage at least the hotel should have give you anything to repay the damage of not having a massage.....Great you have a smart phone, I am still trying to figure out mine, and then I go back to my old BB.....

Tracy: Skating, I used to do that a lot, roller skating, and once I had the crazy idea to "teach" S to skate, it was horrible, I couldn't stand, and I was grabbing around the edge like an old lady....(Well I am old, but not that old)

Lauren: I hope your insomnia is better... I used to had insomnia in pregancy, and I am starting to develop a "new " insomnia... I am sleeping like 3 or 4 hours a day.....

Laura: oh poor Trevor seriously 5 days with fever is something to think about, glad that he is eating and drinking normally

Donna: Welcome back we missed you.....good luck with your sister's wedding and your walks and tournament..... you are so busy.....

Ellen: So glad that Abby had her first soccer game, and swimming, does she do all sports during the week or just in the weekends?? You are also so busy with work......

Shannon: I didn't know you had a green finger, that is so wonderful, must be lovely your garden

Liz: I can't stand crying and screaming either, I can clean whatever kids do, but I can't stand crying, miss V has start with all this crying thing, she cries for anything, and she doesn't sob, she cries like I am hurting her, so people start staring...

Lindsay: Loved the pictures! the kids are getting so big, glad you had a great day, with no rain, and a great walk......

So my new son is such a great kid, he is 12, and he is here to compete in 3 different sports: soccer, volleyball and basketball. He is captain of his soccer team, and he also swims and plays tennis...... he is so fun, kind and get along so well with S and V.... seriously I am planning to adopt him..... But to speak the truth, seeing this kid, makes me wonder what his parents are doing so great??? I mean he is so tidy, he is easy going and talking, he smiles all the times, he is great student (he studies in the same "brand" of schools of my son so scholar things are the same...... I mean I see him, and I see S that doesn't likes sports, and this schools offers all the benefits of good trainer, fields, and all that, and S is wasting all those opportunities, should I pressure him more for that??? sorry I am rambling here......

Tomorrow is my legal wedding anniversary(we have legal and religious one) .....13 years ........next week is my religious anniversary........nothing special, maybe we go to have some dinner somewhere..... Tuesday is not exactly a nice day to go out....

Well have all of you a great week.....

Lorena

KHolley - Apr 16, 2012 11:08 pm (#93 Total: 259)

Akeelah's Mommy - Apr 17, 2012 1:16 am (#97 Total: 259)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Jessica- Congrats!!! Update ASAP tomorrow! I'll be thinking of you!!

Lorena- Awww, I know S is awesome in his own ways... and I know that you are a wonderful absolutely awesome momma!!

stacyat - Apr 17, 2012 2:39 am (#98 Total: 259)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Ellen: Lol, my mom calls soccer for little kids hover ball because they tend to just hover around the ball the entire game.

Tracy: Yeah, a lot of people do! But we don't. Charles calls them fraidy holes......I kinda want a fraidy hole, I'm not ashamed to admit tornadoes scare me! At least typhoons you can predict more than a few minutes out... Ugh, tummy bugs are the worst, I'd take a respiratory bug over that any day. Feel better soon!

Katie: Strep again?! Didn't you just get over that? Feel better soon!

Donna: We've said it before, but you're totally super mom/woman! Big hugs!

Lorena: Sounds like a great kid! I can tell you it's not your parenting. My brothers and I were raised by the same parents the same way and both of my brothers went through some tough times including drugs among other things and I've never so much as touched anything. So totally not your parenting skills.

Jessica: CONGRATS!! That's awesome, and definitely keeping you close in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow!

It's amazing how much kids slow you down with chores! All I got done today was pick up the kitchen, do some of the dishes that Charles refuses to do (sippy straws, bibs, pump parts) and a couple loads of laundry! Didn't get the rest of the house picked up or the bathrooms cleaned like I planned. Ah well, there's always tomorrow! Where's that cleaning fairy?

KHolley - Apr 17, 2012 10:28 am (#99 Total: 259)

Lorena-I thought you were talking about S! S is pretty amazing too!!!

Jessica-That is so awesome, congrats!

Stacy-It doesn't get any better! Alex is 6 and Landen is 4, I still don't get stuff done!!!! Maybe I am just blaming my lack of cleaning on them!!!!

Jackie G - Apr 17, 2012 12:23 pm (#100 Total: 259)

Mom to a 25 weeker who is now 8 years old and a 38.5 weeker who is now 6

Hiya Ladies!

So much to catch up on... sheesh....

Jess - Good luck today, I hope all goes well at the appt. And congrats on the house! That's awesome!

Stacy - I had big plans that when the kids went off to school all day my house would get cleaned. Yeaaaah, that didn't happen.

Katie and Tracy - so glad germs can't travel through the computer! Feel better soon!

Ellen - At least kids soccer is better than t-ball. T-ball moves soooooo slow.

Lorena - When you are feeling down about your parenting, just find time to spend with one of your kids obnoxious friends - you'll feel better quickly! (luckily, my kids have a lot of obnoxious friends!)

Shoot, just looked at the time, got to finish getting ready for work! 2 more weeks until March for Babies, Thank Goodness - I'm burned out!

liz loschinskey - Apr 17, 2012 5:37 pm (#101 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

Jessica, thinking of you today, hope all went well and CONGRATS on the house closing.

I'm a space cadet today because I have no idea what anyone wrote and I just read it.

I've been cleaning and scrubbing all morning. Like serious scrubbing of the walls(which I don't know if I have done since Tori's been born). I still have coffee on the ceiling from a day I was rushing to get out of the house to go see T in the hospital and totally dropped my coffee mug and it shot to the ceiling(as impossible as that sounds) there are thirteen coffee splatters on the ceiling that I've tried to get off, and it's not budging. Someone(DH) got brown paint splatters on the kitchen floor....I've no idea how to get that off either.

Bah....bbl....

ps--If I have to listen to the hot dog song from Mickey Mouse clubhouse one more time, I may rip my eyes out.

liz loschinskey - Apr 17, 2012 6:01 pm (#102 Total: 259)

I love my kids!

pss-who do I talk to about changing my email on SYS? I sent an email to the email it told me to send it to and never got a reply and my new email doesn't work.

I sent the original email last summer and never followed up, but I am now....Help!
