Lindsay, someone grabs my kid like that, they are in for it. I'm suprised they left her by herself even if it's for a moment. Also, you would think she would tone her tude down with a parent in the room. It is developmental preschool, after all. OOOOh, so what, he threw some playdoh on the ground. I'd be very uneasy about that, too.
Laura, I'm glad your family tent went good, minus the wind. As for the gym...I'm trying to vent my frustrations out in other ways other than yelling at my husband or crying. Gym it is!
Jess, hello?! Have you seen my fat A$%? The jiggle to my wiggle? lol, my husband tells me the same. This coming from a man who weighs 150 soaking wet can bite me.
Maybe next year I will venture into tentdom (Tent kingdom) during our walk. ps-I hate sweat, too. But I must be doing something right if I'm sweating, right?!
Stressful (for me)day at Children's...It was a blog kind of day. It's so freaking hot outside....Humid hot. Yuck! We had storms move through for about 2 hours last night, if it wasn't the dog whining and crying, it was Tori, and of course Mike worked 10pm-8am...Sigh.

Liz: Huge hugs! Haha, yeah, I'd be totally embarrassed after noticing that too, and mad no one ever told me! Though I don't think I'd walk up to a stranger to tell them it looks like they just peed your pants. Julie: Hey! Nice to see you in here! Lindsay: Oh wow, that's horrible for that child on the bus Laura: Go you, that's awesome you got the word out to some new moms! Big day for Mr. Elim! He's got his first molar thinking about popping through, learned how to climb up on our dining room chairs and scarfed down part of a stolen cupcake! I also am working on getting him to sleep through the night finally, we'll see how it goes.

You girls have been chatty!
Julie!!!!!! Miss you so much girlie! I could really use a Julie story right about now.
Liz - commercials like that slay me. Hugs on the Childrens visit. I sweat like a pig at the gym too, and will move away from stinky people. Just because you're going to work out doesn't mean you don't need deoderant - a difficult concept for people to get. Oy.
Stacy - Wahoo for the molar! You have one true boy on your hands. So stinkin cute.
Lindsay - Ugh. Hope the two weeks go by quickly without any drama. Some people just don't know how to handle kids, much less high needs kids.
I am freaking out completely. The tournament went from under 30 to over 70 people in a week. Started thinking last night, when I should have been sleeping, about what I want to say this year. Got all choked up. Why does that happen? Good golly - he's 11. I should be able to think and talk about his story without bawling like a baby, shouldn't I? Wish me luck - running around like a madwoman again today, then getting the other panel of my sliding door curtains done (hopefully). But please don't ask me to do any curtains for any of you....mine are so NOT perfect, and are very basic. But I do like them, and I'm proud of me!

Liz - Sorry for the stressful day at Children's . . . I will check out that link, but I know I'll cry, so I'm going to save it for a later time when I'm alone. Going to try and get some house stuff done and not be an emotional wreck for once. It's sort of funny to walk into a room and your kiddo does a double take because your face is SO red from crying.
Stacy - Yay for the toofer coming in. Solid foods, solid foods, he starting solid food:) Yum, puffs!
Donna - Hey, I was up late too! Grading though. Yuck. All caught up thank goodness. Yay for you on those curtain AND you've now got 70 people?! That's fantastic! You'll find your words. You have a great way with them:)
Just house stuff, maybe some pool time today, kids movie tomorrow with SARRC, and . . . Nana's house. The last one makes me want to start drinking now, but if we see them this weekend, then we don't have to for a few weeks. They're going out-of-town. Hubby finds out if he'll get a summer teaching position next week. Oh, that would surely help if he does. Yup, two more weeks with some early release days.

Julie: Nice to see you here......
Jessica: glad you had a nice day at your walk, that parents tent sounds like a huge success..... how far are you now??? I like communion parties, I am starting to plan miss V party, at least I have the dress (a picture of a magazine).
Liz: I would see that commercial later, I cry for everything, the bad thing is that my eyes stay all bulky and red for hours, so I am total mess.... I like to cry privately........
Lindsay: Wow that teacher, imagine if she/he that with you in the room, what is she/he able to do without a parent?? I can just imagine, if I were you I would have notify someone higher position, if she/he doesn't like his/her job take a hike.......Good luck this weekend with the fam gathering..... hugs.....what your DH will teach in summer???
Katie: Must be nice to bring the kids to work.... good luck in Alex's tournament this WE.....
Tracy: mmmm....I own several gifts to belated parties/showers/babies...... I even forgot the list......
Stacy: Oh Elim's first molar..... that kid is going to be a professional hiker...... he is so cute.....Glad you had a great girl's night..... I will gladly enjoy any adult conversation without parents conversation, I love my kids but I need to talk or listen to something else.......
Donna: you are the super wife/mother/housekeeping cover magazine..... better tell us what you do not do..... Me too, I still cry when I tell S story..... and that was also almost 11 years ago.... it will always mark us I think..... but in a way, not like those people that can't get over things, and just talk about the same thing, over and over......Good luck tomorrow for your poker tournament ........
Lauren: also good Friday for you and Mr. lovely sweet Micah.....
Well I have been busy, busy, I decided to paint my whole house, with a painter, it is a huge work, then yesterday I had a work interview, my colleague referred me to his firm, which is nice, I will work my own time, the cases I like..... but I am nervous long time since I took cases, I will need to dust the dust from my books.........
Tonight we are going to the movies, Avengers........
I am looking around for furniture for my last presentation, it is in groups, we have to decorate, the theme of the presentation is "The Chair" I will post some pics when it is done......
I need to go back to the gym.....
Good Friday and nice WE everyone....

Lorena - I'm glad to hear that the interview went well and that you can choose your own schedule:) I bet you're having fun with the new interior house color and your project on "the chair" sounds really interesting:)
Lauren - I hadn't heard it either. I want a re-do too.
Katie - It's always fun to see people get really into it and dress up. My husband is already talking about Phoenix Comicon. Yikes! Apparently it's supposed to be a big Star Trek reunion this year . . . Hey, as long as they make Thor 2 and his shirt is off, I'm in:) That Aussie was on the View yesterday - going to be a daddy for the first time real soon.

We went to see the Avengers yesterday... no fun dress up to be seen, but it was fun none the less. I love those kinds of movies, such fun.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend. We started ours with an early Mommy's day gift for my mom at the Lavender Farm... where a very handsome gardener heard my sob story of killing my Australian Tea Trees and gave me a cutting of his. Thank you Harrison the Hottie.

Lauren - Hahahahaha...that's true. Okay, reinstituting hot cabana boys. Maestro Harrison- Mimosas all around (alcohol free for the preggers in the group!). Lorena - You'll be great at the new job. Nice that it's flexible. Katie - looks like the tournament went well yesterday. Where will you put all those trophies? Lindsay - lol Hot Aussies.....mmmmmmm I survived the poker tournament!!! We of course had no-shows, but still had over 60 people here, 47 playing poker, which is the most yet. Raised $2620 in one night!! Wahoo!! I made people cry, but managed to get through it myself. Ryley was here, and got his own round of applause. You should have seen his face. He was not in a great mood - he pitched in his game yesterday, struggled a bit, and they lost. Poor guy. But last night was awesome. Lots of new people. And would you believe we already have the house almost completely put back together? Michael did a ton before I got up this morning, thankfully.

Not exactly the fun-filled relaxing day that you had. Thanks for the congrats girls! Anyone wanna come help me pack?? .......AGAIN!!! We drove down to Pennsylvania to see my cousin graduate from Penn State (or Pencil State as Nathan called it all weekend). It was a nice weekend but there were 18 people staying in the same house. 6 just in the room I was sleeping in: myself, my sister, both parents and both my boys - it was wall to wall people. We had a good time though, but I am glad it's over.

Stacy- Yeah, it's all a work in progress. Our angel avenue and family team tent gets better every year. Donna- No way... middle school? That's insane! Lindsay- Go get 'em momma bear! Katie- Yeah, not sure about making an extra activity for Teacher Appreciation... thought that counts... but always seemed to me working in schools that just giving free time is the best gift ever! Lance is sure to get choke food at work this week (a nurse), though when I told him he was bummed because he says the pharmaceutical companies and reps give the best food and gifts and this week it will probably just be from the state run hospital and doctors... ungrateful! I'm sure there is a Social Worker's Day and I'm sure I've never gotten anything on it!
