My New Little Bundle of Joy!!!!

averymom3 - 09:10pm May 5, 2012 EST

I just recently gave birth to twin boys 2 weeks ago today. They were born prematurely at 27 weeks. Twin A (Parker) was born 2 lbs and 12 oz and Twin B (Piper) was born 2 lbs 9 oz. The oldest twin has pneumonia. I am trying to deal with this the best way that I can, because I also have a 2 year old daughter. But I'm scared, nervous, anxious, and sad. I mean, I'm happy that they are here, but I'm sad that they are having to stay in the NICU. This has been very difficult for me and my family. I have been crying and praying around the clock daily. Can someone give me some coping methods to help ease my mind a little. Thank you for taking time out to give me some advice and please keep my family lifted up in prayer as I do the same for you and yours...

Thanks to all that have commented so far. Your kind words, and advice has been wonderful music to my ears. The boys are making some improvements. The oldest, Parker had pnuemonia/infection in his lungs and now it is slowly clearing up. He now weighs 2 lbs 14 oz. Piper had a rough day today, his oxygen and heart rate kept dropping a little so the Drs changed the way he was being fed along with giving them both glycerins to help their bowels. Piper is 3 lbs so Parker is 2 oz away from being 3 lbs. The Doctors and the nursing staff have made me feel very comfortable. And you all as well. Thank you sooooo much for all of you and please continue to keep us all in your prayers as we continue to pray for you all....
