Wish to walk

klarmon - 12:32pm May 18, 2012 EST

My son Christian was born at 29 weeks premature. He was 2lbs 12oz. There was no understanding why I went into labor early. I was dilated 9.5 when I got to the hospital and there was no stopping the labor. He is our little miracle baby. He stayed in the hospital for 7 weeks and came home at 4lbs 12 oz. We have had our struggles through out the years. Christian is now 11 years old and is currently living with cerebral palsy. He doesn't walk independently, he depends on his walker. Recently Christian has been accepted to have SDR (Selective Dorsal rhizotomy) in St Louis, Missouri on July 3, 2012. The doctor believes he will walk after this surgery. This is a blessing. He is starting middle school in the fall and he wants to "walk" in to school with his friends. The insurance will not cover 100% of the surgery. We are raising money for Christian to receive this surgery that will change his life. Please watch his video and help us help him.
