Woooooweeeeee!!!! Love it Lauren!!!

He WON!!! The game was a total nail biter and was seriously keeping everyone on the edge of their seats!!! He plays for the championship on Monday. If they win, they have to play again later in the week because the other team is undefeated. It was so exciting!!!!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 3, 2012 8:24 am (#3 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Rock on! The season continues!

Took Micah to his first lil' Kids Workshop at Home Depot this morning- what fun! We built a box. Kid looked too stinkin' cute with his lil apron on and so serious holding his hammer.

lvazquez - Jun 3, 2012 3:58 pm (#4 Total: 221)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Lauren - Loving the new cafe and the guitars! I bet he looked precious in his apron:)

Tracy - Congrats on that win!

Lorena - Exactly what my new pediatrician told me. I'm going to have to stock up and make it part of our pool routine from here on out. Sorry for getting drenched at the amusement park. Hope the movie indoors was still a good time:)

Just catching up on laundry, still sorting through papers, and checking job postings. The usual when I have some ME time. Hubby took one kiddo out for some errands and my other one is dying for his turn on the computer. He loves the Hubble site. Think I'll go sneak off for a dip in the pool:)

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 3, 2012 5:37 pm (#5 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lindsay- That does not sound like ME time! Sneaking away for a dip in the pool... now THAT sounds like me time!

Having a lil' me time this morning... Lance having a dad morning with Micah while I sit on the Lanai drink my coffee and get caught up on Share.

NathansMom13 - Jun 3, 2012 5:52 pm (#6 Total: 221)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

Lauren, I've always wanted to take Nathan to a home depot event like that. I never think to sign him up until after it's happened, I need to get better at checking into those things and registering on-time. So glad Micah had fun!

Linds, that doesn't sound like me time - it sounds like housework and chores. You need to spend more ME time doing fun things like swimming and relaxing!

Tracy, so glad your nephew won!! Woo hoo!!

So both boys are napping (Nathan is resting in bed, he doesn't nap much anymore) so I get to have some relaxation while the hubby is out at Lowes getting god only knows what. Now it's raining and I'm just glad I don't have anywhere to go today. I love a relaxing Sunday!!!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 3, 2012 5:58 pm (#7 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Laura- I don't know if it's the same there, but no early registering required... just the first Saturday of the month... show up and voila! It's very well ran.

Love that everyone is having a relaxing Sunday! It's so deserved!

Angel Love - Jun 3, 2012 6:12 pm (#8 Total: 221)

Lauren~ Is there an age limit on those little workshops?? I'd like to participate myself and the kids' level is about my level!!

Lindsay~ Tell me how you get into the pool without a kid following you?? That takes all relaxation out of it when you're watching for someone else. Just wondering....that was a major "problem" at my other house.

Laura~ Quiet afternoon.....AAHHHHH!!!! My afternoon is quiet too. I only have a summary for my research paper to type....not exactly looking forward to that and I'm doing a great job at putting it off.

Ansley's at the lake with her dad this afternoon! It's a beautiful day with low humidity....hopefully she doesn't return looking like a lobster like last week!

Classes start back full swing tomorrow......someone remind me what it means to get up and get going on a Monday again!!! UGH!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 3, 2012 6:17 pm (#9 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lol Tracy. I think you could use Ansley as cover and be hammering away no problem!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 4, 2012 6:02 am (#10 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Just FYI for those of you who have Netflix... Jem... is now available on watch instantly! Jem! Truly outrageous.......

NathansMom13 - Jun 4, 2012 12:24 pm (#11 Total: 221)

Come to ShareUnion 2012: It's the BEST weekend ever!!!

LoL, can't you just see Tracy showing up to a workshop alone!

I hope Ansley returned with no sunburn. Although, I did see some sunburn spray that had lidocaine in it which could help if she did get a sunburn!

Trevor is walking around upstairs with me while I'm online chatting with all of you and now I can tell that he's locked himself in his room. He's banging on the door and yelling for me but I'm leaving him in there - does that make me a mean mommy? I know he's safe in there and he can't get hurt.

Well, I guess I will go free him because we have to go to the gym and then off to get his first haircut, can't believe he will be 2 this weekend!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 4, 2012 6:40 pm (#12 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lol! Long as they're safe. And seriously... 2?!?!?! What the what?!?!

Angel Love - Jun 4, 2012 8:07 pm (#13 Total: 221)

.....Truly, truly, truly outrageous!!!!

Laura~ Do you think they'd turn me away???

--Seriously?? T is 2?????? I'm with Lauren, What the what????

Ansley did return with no sunburn!!! She was completely worn out by the time she got home so she slept like a rock too!!!

Today was my first day of class....suppose to be from 9-5 (ugh!!)....we were out at 11:00!!! Yeah, we have tons of work to do between now and our next meeting, but so far so good right??! Tomorrow is an online class and Wednesday is another face to face. I hope that professor is as great as this one!!

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 4, 2012 10:52 pm (#14 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Out at 11?! That's most excellent!

Seriously... one of those days where if I say right Micah says left. Nap time couldn't come soon enough! I think I will be doing the same.

Arnara - Jun 5, 2012 12:07 am (#15 Total: 221)

Lindsay: Yes the drops work..... and they are easy and cheap.......Hope you are done with laundry..... I have a pile of clothes to iron...... That sounds Sunday afternoon alone in a sunny hot day in the pool.......so envious here....... Thank you for answering my last post.....

First day at new work..... I don't have a desk but I don´t mind, they are re painting my office, hopefully my new furniture will be next week.... I think they were waiting for my acceptance.....I came home to get my old university books....... I am excited with this new prospect, the only thing is my check, I will get pay as I finish the cases, so payment will not be regular....but the great part is that I can work on my own time, I don't have a regular schedule, and I can do as I like.....
Lorena

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 5, 2012 12:14 am (#16 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lorena- Flexibility in a job is tops! I hope it works out well!

Seriously... of all days the kid takes a 1.25hr nap. At least he woke up on the right side of the bed.

Angel Love - Jun 5, 2012 1:22 am (#17 Total: 221)

Lorena~ Yay for a new office with flexible hours!!! That's always nice!!

Lauren~ Ugh....it must be a nationwide day for that attitude because it seems that mine has the same issue today.

Walked today with my friend who is a manager at HOME DEPOT!! Yep---no age limit for the kiddie crafts!! She did laugh at the thought of me being there alone though.

Online class tomorrow so yay--sleeping in!!

Arnara - Jun 5, 2012 2:28 am (#18 Total: 221)

Tracy: I am so glad you enjoyed your first class, and you were able to leave earlier..... So that competition you were with your friends were you have to get it shape, still on? or you finished? I have never receive a online class, so I don't have any idea how could it be...

Lauren: I can't picture Micah with a bad day..... for me he is always happy and smiling like in the pics..... Jem channel, What is that??

School today reported that Miss V has been naughty and is little wild, so unusual for her, she is always princess like and well behave... ... and I thought we were over wall painting, so last month I painted my whole house again, and today she painted her room walls with a blue crayon...... I do not know what is happening to her, is like another kid from last night .......

Laura: I can't stand kids crying..... they melt my heart away, even at supermarkets I hear a kid crying my heart is crushed......

Did I mention that a nice mall is just half block from the office???

Good night

Lorena

Akeelah's Mommy - Jun 5, 2012 5:41 am (#19 Total: 221)

A moment in our arms, a lifetime in our hearts.

Lorena- Just heard on the radio... full moon... maybe that's what's drivin' the kids wild. Micah was constipated so just an all over unhappy camper... and then on top of that just a lil' boy today. Hope the crayon comes off.

Tracy- Let her know we give Home Depot thumbs up over here. Micah is crazy for their racer car wagons... and the workshops always so well run- years ago I used to go with kiddos with special needs- always so accommodating.

Early morning tomorrow...

KHolley - Jun 5, 2012 12:27 pm (#20 Total: 221)

Tracy-Glad you got out early! I laughed at you doing the crafts at Home Depot!!!

Lauren-Boo for the short nap, but glad he woke up in a good mood!

Lorena-I am glad you have a great new job! You will be wonderful!

Today is the last day for students! I am so happy for this year to be over! We are heading to Vegas on Friday. This is the first time that I have been away from the kids that long, I am super nervous! Glad my mom is keeping them, so I know they will be safe!

lvazquez - Jun 5, 2012 5:08 pm (#21 Total: 221)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Katie - Congrats on your final school day! Have a blast in Vegas!

Laura - Hope the haircut went well for your little guy and that they saved some hair clippings for you:)

Lorena - Sounds like the flexibility is cool! Bummer about the pay at the end though. Funny about paydays, I've already marked them all for the upcoming school year (for my husand as verdict is still out on me). Boobies still hurt a bit when I hear a crying baby:(

Lauren - Woah, Jem, Jem, the music's contagious, outrageous. Jem is my name no one else is the same. Jem is my name - Jem!
Took me back a few years lady! I feel old(er).

Tracy - Sorry for the work, but sounds like it's a lively group. When I sneak out to dip in the pool, I sneak out for 15 min. or so to do some laps and I've only recently started to do that when it's just my oldest. He's at the kitchen table and I can see him from the pool. He's just happy to get his computer time since we all fight for it these days. Could never do that with just Mr. T.

Hubby is at summer conference thing on PLC's (snore) today and then community college training thing tomorrow. Just me and the kiddos. Just a few more days of medication for Mr. T and then we can resume our pool time together.

liz loschinskey - Jun 5, 2012 5:46 pm (#22 Total: 221)

I love my kids!

Hi. Holy. I'm far behind. I wish this week were over already. Today is day 5 on this hellish week. Tomorrow my besties and I will be doing dinner and drinks at mad mex, no kids. So that will be nice. I purposely have my day slightly packed tomorrow so I don't sit here and gorge myself with food and cry all day while watching Steve Wilko's. I'm good for that when I'm all out of sorts.

Lorena, congrats on the job and the flexibility of the job.

Lindsay, I'm not sure what you are singing but you go girl! And, I wish we had a pool, so I could do laps.

Katie, Vegas? What did I miss? I've never been to Vegas, have fun!

Tracy, Lauren, Jackie....hi!!

Angel Love - Jun 5, 2012 5:54 pm (#23 Total: 221)

Katie~ Woohoo on the kids getting out of school!!! Even bigger woohoo for the trip that follows!! I know you just lost my number when you were going to ask if I wanted to go too. No worries.....email me and I'll give it to you again, so I won't miss the next trip!!

Lindsay~ Girl---you know ALL the words!!! You are a total Jem fan aren't you??!!!!

Lauren~ I can't help but laugh at you posting Micah's "real" reason for being grumpy. I can't wait till he's older and reads back over this.....LOL!!!!!

Lunch with my mom and sister today. Too bad all of the kids were with us and all were SUPER WILD!!!

While there, I saw several of our National Guardsmen, one of which is a good friend of mine. I found out that they're being deployed (again) in February. Can I just say I'm not a fan of deployments....and I'm not even blood related???!!! I can just imagine how Stacy, Tracey, and many others like them feel!

stacyat - Jun 6, 2012 1:36 am (#24 Total: 221)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Woah, trippy cafe, love it!

Lorena: Glad your first day of work went well!! Oooh, snazzy new painted office and furniture too, fun!

Lauren: Elim was totally hit by the full moon too, he was up at 3, 3:30, 4, and 4:30, argh!! I went ahead and fed him because I knew that'd make him pass out and it sure did! I'll be repeating that on any wakeups until we're home, then he gets retrained.

Katie: Oooh, have fun in Vegas!

Just now getting caught up. I'm ready to go home! Two weeks was too long to be here, we're tired of being here and I'm pretty sure my friend's dad is tired of a baby in the house! Oh well, live and learn. It'll help with the planning of my road trip if I'm still gonna go.

Angel Love - Jun 6, 2012 1:50 am (#25 Total: 221)

Stacy~ Early wakeups.....that stinks!! Glad the love of mommy milk will do the trick every time!!

It's always hard to know how long to plan a trip with friends....you want to have enough time to enjoy, but not so long that you're miserable at the end. Just be sure that if you come to GA to visit your brother, that you give me a call for at least a few hours of chat time over lunch or dinner!

lvazquez - Jun 6, 2012 4:12 pm (#26 Total: 221)

Mom to Donovyn (32 weeker), Tristyn (34 weeker), and Naethyn (30 weeker born sleeping)

Stacy - It's hard to judge those things some time, but hey, trial and error. You visited them, so now it'll be their turn to visit you:)

Tracy - Yeah, I was a total fan:)

Speech today for Mr. T and sounds like there's an opening for us to start PT in mid-June. Hoorah!

Angel Love - Jun 6, 2012 9:26 pm (#27 Total: 221)

Alright girls.....where are ya'll???

I've been in class all day and at 5:25 p.m.---only one post???!!! Really????

Spill the beans---what fun things are you doing to keep you away from Share??

Arnara - Jun 6, 2012 10:32 pm (#28 Total: 221)

Katie: wow! Vegas...... I loved that place..... I went for my honeymoon, first I was not so sure about it, since I don't like gambling and thought all was casinos, but I enjoyed it so much, specially the seafood buffet for $ 9.99 (13 years ago)......

Tracy: nope I have no great thing to do..... just work, and now I am sitting here watching S do his homework..... believe me it is no fun.... How was your class??? And your online class??

Lindsay: So glad you could have a PT in mid June..... I am not so sure what that is....... how are your sunny days???

Stacy: I still don't have new furniture, just an old table, old computer, but it works for me..... oh those waking ups at nights....not fun thing...... Visits, yes I get tire of them, they are fun for a while, but later on not..... We have a saying in my country, Visits and dead stink at 3 days.... meaning limit your visit time......Specially if they do not have children.......

Lauren: How is Micah today??? Moon effect over?

So today arrived my assistant, I do not know what I should ask or say, I never had an assistant before in my life..... The other lawyer said she is there to do the documents and print them so I can check them after and sign them, but I like to do legal documents, what is the point of hiring a notary if the assistant do the paper?....I arrived today at 8;20 am and work in papers.... didn't notice the time..... I like this job, it is fun.....

V had her speech today..... she had to speak about a public worker in English..... We choose Dr (it is more easy to dress up) she was so happy...... You could hardly understand her, but it was ok..... S has an Eng project, he has to speak all the time in Eng and if he tells jokes in English he gets extra points....... Anyone has a good joke for kids??? I found one: Have you heard of the new restaurant on the moon?? ..... Great food no atmosphere..
By the way I found funny videos on YT ... I liked the ones of David Letterman with kids.....so funny.......

Oh Lauren I still don't know about that Jem..... I will have to google it.....

Good afternoon
Lorena

ethan&casey's mom - Jun 7, 2012 12:38 am (#29 Total: 221)

mom to angels ethan and casey (3-7-07); daughters Kaelin Reese born happy and healthy on 3-10-09; and Kelsey Grace on 9/17/11

Hi girls!
Lorena: glad to hear you are enjoying your work. you will probably find good use for your assistant once you get into your work more. miss v had to do a speech in English? Wow... very advanced.

Stacy: looks like you are enjoying your trip. always nice to go away but even nicer to come home. how is elim doing without daddy? Kaelin was oblivious to Dan's absence at that age, but she did become a mom's girl. this year when we came back from Florida she sobbed for him... especially at night.

Tracy: don't u ever get tired of school?

Katie: enjoy vegas! I've never been there. Dan and I need to figure out where to use the airline tix I won last year for the mod family teams challenge. and with or without kids!

Liz: nice to see you last night. tori is a cutie. I was very impressed with Mike's eagerness to jump in and help for the walk this weekend. Dan doesn't do crap .

Lindsey: yay for getting in for therapy. hope all of u have a great summer.

my team of four raised $4349 for this year's walk, which is on Sunday. I raised about 3500 of it myself. nice to actually have others interested in raising moneyand being on the team!

Ok, my finger is tired from typing on my phone.

erin

Angel Love - Jun 7, 2012 12:54 am (#30 Total: 221)

Erin~ WOW!!! What a great total!!! That's awesome!

As for school......YES!!!!!! I'm very tired of school at this point, but I only have until the end of June, then I have two more classes to go!! June is always rough because it's three different classes, but once the fall comes, we only have one class once a week. Needless to say, there will be no more degrees for me....for a long while. At least my new professor today seems pretty cool and isn't looking to just drive us totally insane for the fun of it!!

Lorena~ Speech??? For V?????? I'm seriously amazed at your kids' curriculum at such young ages.

As for the assistant....I understand! Sometimes, it's just easier to do it yourself than have to explain it to someone else. Don't get me wrong...I love my assistant (even though I have to share with other teachers) and don't know what I'd do without her.
