my baby kyle

when i first found out that i was having a baby boy! I was excited cause i already have 2 girls. My husband and i were thrilled. everything was coming along good. going to my prenatal checkup everything was good until my 24wks 4 days before my next dr. appt. I suddenly had high blood pressure and seizure i was rushed to the hospital for emergency c-section and gave birth to a 1lb.7oz baby boy. He was @ the nicu for 2months cause he had blood in his stool which causes nec. then he had large liver due to being on the
TPN cause he wasn't on feeding he had blood transfusion and large spleen and had platelets transfused every 8 days. He had to be rushed to Oakland Children's Hospital ran numerous of test didn't show any sign of nec. but did have alot of air pockets throughout his intestine. as time went on he was out of the ventilator then to cpap, then to high flow for a wk a got to hold him gave him a bath and put clothes on him. 1 wk later he went back on the ventilator high frequency cause he was coming down with something a bug. after that he has been on it with his lung collapse and still large liver and large spleen did so many testing still couldn't find out wat was causing it. his body finally gave up where he had kidney renal failure and pnuemonia and had yellow mucus coming out from his nose his mouth his eyes. he was slowly deterating doctors still had no answer gave him powerful drugs to treat his infection and also on antibiotic nothing that they could have done. he was swollen he would be polked all over his little body where he would be bruised up. platelets after platelets. his body was slowly dying they asked me if i wanted put him to sleep i said no i wanted him to die naturally i was very devestated didn't understand why when other premie makes it at 24 wks everything is fine and my baby isn't.
