Me Again/ Having a worry attack
Katie87 - 01:42am Jan 13, 2012 EST
Ok- Went into another catagory on here and just made my worries of RSV even worse than they already are. My 27 weeker has just received her second synagis and I'm wondering how protected she is? I know I have packets of info on it but I guess I'm scared to fully read everything and don't want to keep pestering the pediatrician. My worry is; I always battle sinus problems; always have. We are in Richmond Va and the weather is sooo back and forth at the moment; one day it gets to the sixties and the next day it's nasty cold and raining and such. I don't go out but so much but we have appointments and then my husband has let me go out here and there this week and I fear being around other people in public. I use purell while I'm out and when I get home I wash my hands and change my clothes and sometimes depending on where I've been I even shower. I always fear of bringing home a cold. I got my flu shot of course. I'm all over the place on here but what I'm getting at is what happens if one minute I'm fine and the next I'm sick and I've been around my daughter holding her etc... How scared should I be; How much should I worry about something that seems inevitable sometimes. I mean I have to get out and my husband has to go to work but I'm not gonna treat my daughter like a piece of glass and not give her a kiss on the top of her head or hold her.... All I know is our next doctor's visit which will be in a couple of weeks I'm going to have a huge list of questions and concerns. I just need some sort of reassurance. What would happen if she gets a cold? If I noticed symptoms I would be in the car on the way to the doctor with her. I know nobody can make any guarantees about things because every baby is different but I just want an idea of how to handle this worry?
