Hello everyone. I have not been able to get on and chat in a while but tonight i'm having a meltdown. My 27 weeker emma is going in for bilateral hernia aurgery monday morning and my husband who has bad allergies now sounds hoarse and has a bit more congestion then usual, maybe could ne getting a cold but doesn't feel bad and is not feverish. I'm freaking out in tears I mean he handled her just this morning before work. I could be carrying it if its a cold. Emma is up to date on her synagis vaccines for rsv which is good. What do we do? We have masks that we can wear and know how to keep our hands clean. What else can we do? I'm nervous enough about the surgery and even more upset now. I need help, I need breaks, I need my rock of a husband. Now I dont even know if its safe for him to hold her? Of course my pediatrician is not on call and I dont want to page the one thats on call bc I dont know them and they would probably think im a nut... Im asking for help, advice, reassurance and if you will, pray. She is nine lbs now so at least she isn't super tiny. I imagine her airways are that of a term baby now?
