2nd cerclage mommaryb - 09:40pm Oct 29, 2011 ESTHi ladies i am maryb i joined the site tohelp and gain support with my pregnancy with a cerclage. i am currrently 14 weeks and just had my cerclage placed last week. this is my second pregnancy with cerclage. i was diagnosed with incompetent cervix after a devastating 20 week lose in 2005. some days it feels like yesterday. in 2006 my cerclage was successsful and i had my baby boy who is now 5. I also have and 8 year oldson but had no problems with that pregnancy. I am looking to give support as well as recieve it...thank you for your time

Welcome to Share Mary. Congrats on 14 weeks! Every week counts and every week matters. I sure hope that the next 26 weeks are uneventful:) I don't have experience in this particular area, but there are many moms on this site who do. I am wishing you well and do keep us posted.

Hi Mary, welcome to Share. You have certainly come to the right place for support. We will help you through this pregnancy any way we can. You might try looking under 'Parent to Parent' there is a thred under 'Pregnant? On Bedrest? Trying Again?' Called 'Pregnant and Fabulous' and it's for mom's who are pregnent! Its a great place to look and chat with other pregnant moms.

Welcome to share! Im sorry for your loss at 20 weeks, and congrats on making it 14 weeks, every week counts! There are many moms here who had a cerclage. Laura is right head over to parent to parent!
