Liz- Isn't it amazing, you can say 1,500 friendly words to them and then that oooooone lil' word is the one they remember and repeat! Stinkers!
I just had to share this one... happy lil' beach baby!

And then Tori says...."This bracelet is stuck in her damn hair"
Comes walking to the kitchen...."Mommy, this bracelet is stuck in her damn hair, it's stuck on her damn head."
Thinking back to that >insert word here< elephant, I should have never allowed that >insert word here< thing in my >insert word here< house.

Liz, at least she's using the world correctly. Nathan's first swear word was the 's' word and he said it right after I said it. He still hashes trach at the time so he couldn't make a lot of consonant sounds and it came out as "ooo it" and it made me laugh so I couldn't correct him.

Micah routinely drops a "holy crap". Um, how on earth is it possible that Makaela is already 9 months old? I have to measure her... but as of yesterday 16lbs on the dot! Ten pounds more than birth! Cray-zay!

They are so cute Lauren!!! We have a few of those moments too. Urgh, my husband sometimes says, "You betcha." Well, when Mr. T says it, it sounds like the "b" word. It happened again this past weekend. I'm glad we figured that one out. Doesn't help that Nana threw out the "s" word while playing Monopoly with the boys. Great.

Nana sometimes doesn't remember that she is around young children and we need to be very careful about word choice especially with Mr. T. So hard not to react when it's so completely funny!

Well I have been working out a few times per week so DH watches the kids for me. So he decided to play softball for his workout. On Monday night he was leaving and I asked "please don't leave me" because the boys were both cranky. Of course he left. I was getting Tucker ready for bed, I told him he had to sit down and listen to the bedtime story now but he didn't want to....Easton was on my lap and he puked everywhere at that moment. By the time I cleaned it up Tucker had fallen asleep, so he didn't need to listen to any stories. I swear they plan this stuff, lol, Easton was helping Tucker out!

Leigh - I'm sorry. Urgh, hope you and your boys got some rest last night.
Laura - Oh no! That one has popped out here at our house too on occasion.
Last month I was at Barnes and Noble in line to pay with D. A younger couple behind us (the girl) was just firing off the "f" word. I covered my son's ears because it was a bit ridiculous. The guy was motioning to his gal to cut it out because there was a kid in line. She was like, "Whatever, his parents probaby cuss around him all the time!" Deep breath, walk away . . .

I would have turned around and said with a smile...Actually, we don't cuss around our kids all the time, we've got respect, morals, whatever word you want to use...for our kids.
Stupid girl.
Or I would have turned around and said....Yea...I've got a kid with me....would you mind lowering your voice....using a different word....ANYTHING?
Stupid, stupid girl...

Liz/Tracy - I know, it was crazy! I really wanted to say something, but didn't. Sometimes it just feels like you can't go anywhere in public anymore without hearing stuff like that. If I had more energy, I probably would have said something. Don't want to lose my teaching job over a brawl in a Barnes and Noble. People pack heat in this State, so I gots to be careful:)
Lauren - Yay, for some mommy quiet coffee time:) Aaaaah . . .

Yeah, it seems like there are news reports everyday of shootings in various parts of the Phx area. Yikes!
Liz - I got my license plate in the mail yesterday. The first three letters are BAR!!! I smile everytime I see it. It's like my car is reading my mind:)

Love the license plate Lindsay. I need one of those! Thought I'd pop in and give you all a laugh...again. Keira insists that her name is "Banessa" which I think is supposed to be Vanessa but I'm not sure. She has new names all the time. Oh and she gave herself her first real haircut. Apparently she wanted bangs! Well what she got more closely resembles a mullet! Just in time for us to be the ambassador family for the chef event too. Oh and we're going to be in a commercial for the event. I can't wait. I feel like saying the serenity prayer every morning before she wakes up. Lol. She is so darn cute and sweet though. Wait did Jeffery Dahmers mom say that about her kid too? She really is a good kid just very very imaginative and she just gets an idea and goes with it. 8 year old brain 3 year old body pretty much. We went to the zoo and she didn't have a good time because she kept saying all of the animals were sad. Honestly they did look a bit sad but most kids were just excited to see them. Not her, she spent 10 min at the Lemur exhibit talking to him about all his life troubles. It was quite sweet yet sad to see a 3 year old so wise and also have that magic lost because their brain is in overdrive. I hope everyone is having a lovely spring. It's either cold or raining here. Blah! I can't wait for nicer weather.

I think your car has a nickname now...
"Take me to the Bar!"
Mine is JVR so my hubby calls my car Javier. Though I think it's a girl. ::shrug::
Jami- Egads. I forget the hilarious thing Micah told me today... but the other day when hubby called to tell me about the Boston Bombing Micah asked me what happened and I couldn't think of anything appropriate so I just said, "Oh something surprising happened." And he said, "Oh, did Dinosaurs come?" or something similar. Well... that would be surprising...

Lindsay, what do you mean there are shootings all over Phoenix?? My DH is going there next week, from Sunday-Friday, for training. This is the next step towards his promotion and raise (hopefully!), but I didn't know about any violence.... Also, I am not sure how I'll cope with him gone, I am not at all meant to handle these two boys alone. Easton has become Mr. Spoiled Rotten, so we'll see how my week goes next week.

Lauren- I agree that would be surprising. Although you do have the landscape for it. Keira loves dinosaurs too. We went to a science museum in NC that had all kinds of really cool dinosaurs re-made. It was neat. Leigh- I don't blame you. That's how I am when Jerry is gone. I'm a nervous wreck. I'm sure if his company is anything like my husbands company he's at a nice hotel with transportation. No where near the ghetto of AZ. Try not to worry to much. Jerry always ends up at really nice places with really great food! Lindsay- still loving the plate!

Leigh - I'm sure your hubby is staying at a nice place. The shoot 'em up shoot 'em up pow pow stuff usually happens at night anyway in the really scary parts of town. Don't worry, he'll be safe. You'll do great next week and the boys will love having mom all to themselves:)
Jami - What's the weather like? Are you raining and snowing? Your Keira is so imaginative:) Did she chop it all off? Can you pull the sides up or will she do a headband? Just thinking about your MOD commerical.
Lauren - That's so cute of him!!! Wish it had been dinosaurs in Boston. LOL, Javier!
