    Hi Mommies!

its been a while since I been here but I originally became a member of the share family in 07' when my I had my son Tommy at 31 weeks. He developed NEC and was left with 45 cm of intestine. Now he is a big smart 5 year old and attending Kindergarten. Im actually expecting again with my second this times a girl . Im 28 weeks today and have been getting weekly injections of Progesterone to help hold the baby. Im very excited and hoping I can keep her in longer!

If I could be added to the expecting list I would appreciate it,

Cassie AKA Cassiecas 28 Weeks Preggo with Baby Girl Aurora 5/19/13 , Tommy Story NEC

if anyone wants to share their experience with Progesterone or NEC or Pregnancy after Preemie im all ears!

Im gonna post a belly pic

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Cassie: Hey! Welcome back! Congrats on your current pregnancy!! I'm sure getting closer to Tommie's birth week is a bit scary, I know it was for me! I fully credit 17P for getting my son to full term! We had a couple of scares and admissions but we were able to hold him off! I think if I hadn't had those injections the contractions would have been stronger and changed my cervix more. So glad that you've found your way back to Share!

    Cassie,

Welcome Back! I also used 17p injections with my last pregnancy. I believed they helped tremendously with getting our little girl to 36 weeks! For me the side effects weren't very desirable but they were well worth it!! I can't wait to hear about your little girl's arrival. Also glad to hear about you now Big guy staring Kindergarten.

    Please keep us updated.

Woah, only missed being on here twice by six months! Don't add me on here yet though, maybe after my first ultrasound on the 4th! Bloodwork looked great, HCG of 196 and progesterone of 19.7 so far so good!

Just wanted to share a quick update....
I am 35 weeks. I have been as active as ever for the past several weeks. I have my 35 week appointment tomorrow. Just two more injections of progesterone, this week and next and my cerclage will come out at 36.5 weeks. Wish everyone luck-

Also, the cerclage and the progesterone really work and have been a blessing- Although, not without many many side effects such as bladder spazms and pulling as the baby grew, not comfortable at all!

Congrats on the 35 weeks! Im glad the progesterone/cerclage has been working for you

Im gonna be 32 weeks in 2 days which is great because with Tommy I never saw 32! Im so glad to have made it this far along. I have been having some bad side effects from the progesterone injections. Ive been really nauseated for the past 3 weeks, and its beginning to effect my weight gain. Its so bad that I haven't been eating much or being able to take my prenatal pills due to the nausea. Im gonna see my doctor in the morning hopefully we can figure something out.

Carri - yay for 35 weeks!

Cassie- by 32 weeks I hate the 17P shots. I was so sick with my rainbow and didnt gain much weight. I hope you and your dr can figure out a plan.

Yay! For 35 weeks Carri. So happy for you.

Cassie- sorry your having a rough time with the 17p shots. I had bad heartburn and nausea on them as well. It was worth it in the end but made for a miserable pregnancy.

    Good luck to you both!

Just sending happy and healthy wishes to everyone! Hope to hear updates soon!

    stacyat - Apr 6, 2013 2:39 am (#610 Total: 611)

Mom to Emilyn and Hailey (our 20 week angels) and Elim (our 38 week, full term miracle)!

Had my first ultrasound yesterday, baby looks great with a heart rate of 128 and measuring 8.6 mm which is a day ahead in size! I'll be seven weeks tomorrow. I'm so excited to have this chance again, babies are a miraculous thing!

Something's gotta give with this nausea though, zofran isn't cutting it. I just want to curl up on my couch and cry all day long, knowing it may last another 9 weeks is incredibly overwhelming. I've put on sea bands tonight, we'll see if that helps any.

O M G, 7 weeks already? That's so substantial!! I really can not even imagine on the morning/all day sickness... that stinks!
